Chapter 184: King of silence 2
If Ray wanted to survive on Mars, he had to get better, way better than his strength at level nine. He had rushed his advancement many times; by his own estimations, to fully explore the powers of his magic in level 9, he needed 100 more years of training.
So he just took another approach, getting inspiration from those he had fought.
All eyes on his back locked down on his target, a clone of himself sliced the air, with King already by his side.
A green mace wanted to crush his head; an orb of blood took most of its power. When it landed on Ray, just his nose was destroyed. A light shone from the mace, but the crimson star had found its target already.
Mace and a hand cut from the wrist fell to the ground; out of despair, the king tried to land a kick, but the same thing happened.
Dodging a light beam, Ray took his scythe to his back. Kang had made a distance between them with light beams destroying the space between them randomly.
Blood wings opened as Ray jumped to the field; with his flying skills, nothing could land on him. On the other side, the king prepared his last hope as an attack.
King’s hands opened to the sky; a purple rot took over his right hand. In a blink, it had taken over half his body.
All that Ray saw was a purple explosion far stronger than the ones before, taking over the bare planet. Three spinning spheres protected him as he dived into the purple flames.
Hawks made out of jade attacked him in the purple mist, heading straight into his shield; they sacrificed themselves to weaken the shields.
"He’s letting go of all the magic in his body..."
Testing his clones outside, they could live only for 1 second. His mind moved toward the jade birds, recognizing the first one. A clone cut through its head, and it faded away; its body still hit the shield but couldn’t do anything to it.
Suddenly all the nova magic in the air started to be pulled back toward the king, activating both anti-gravity and gravity at the same time. It had made a safe field around itself; he wanted to sustain the nova magic in the air.
The gravity destroyed most of his shield spin, but with the increased speed, Ray could reach his target faster. His clones hunted the green birds one by one with a single blow.
Sensing the Ray getting closer, King focused all of his light magic in one place; draining all of his magic in his weapon caused his body to backlash, yet he kept charging more and more.
"You made a mistake; this is the gravity of mercury, not earth..." Cindi watched as Ray struggled to sustain his spinning shield; one of the main parts of her equation was the gravity of the planet, yet Ray had no knowledge about that.
Seeing the first sign of a red orb, King of Silence let go of all the stored magic in his mace; a yellow light devoured the space in front of him. The nova magic and orb both turned into nothingness as they came in contact with the stronger magic.
With no more magic, he fell from the sky. With the gravity gone, the novas expanded in the universe and soon turned into lights in the distance.
His eyes were blurry, yet his ears could hear footsteps. Raising his head, he said, "So this is the end..."
Smoke rose from Ray’s body; most of his body was burnt to the point that he couldn’t be recognized. The pain had no effect on his face after being burned so many times.
Star Crimson demanded blood in his hands; every cell in his body was excited about what was about to happen.
"Your tricks never change, yet they still work..." Blood dripped from his clothing.
A scythe moved in the air. Ray looked at the tip of it; dark blood was dripping from it. The person in front of me turned into three pieces, with their brain being cut in half.
The ring in his pocket seemed heavier than all of his belongings.
Congratulations.

"Don’t come any closer; it’s not finished yet." Ray yelled at the immortals in the sky, all of them looking with surprise. The king of silence had definitely died.
Cold winds arose from the surface of the grey planet; the ground itself shook from the fear of the presence that headed on their way.
"Its real body is coming..." Fereya felt the cold shiver in her spine; with no hesitation, all the immortals teleported out from the place.
Cindi watched Ray’s indifferent expression; no one had been there to look into fear and hunger’s real body and go insane.
Ground under Ray, transferred into skulls, with blood running through them, the same thing happened to the sky too.
A monster beyond human comprehension rose from the skulls; different limbs were connected to one another with dark threats. From the shadow, Ray could get its height, reaching 70 meters or more.
"Look..."
"I shouldn’t do this..." Ray knew he had to pay a price to be able to look at it; however, he raised his head toward the head of the creature. A woman with no eyes and a tied mouth stared at him.
Time? Space? None of them mattered; for a second Ray saw it all at the same time, the future of the universe, complete darkness; and its past, complete darkness. The firstborn existed both behind time and space. Rules of the world didn’t exist for such a being.
"Fear..."
Ray regained his mind; most of it was shattered just from looking at such a perspective; however, he was ready for such an outcome.
"I completed my promise."
The body of the king of silence moved in the air to the creature’s mouth. Ray had to witness as the human was devoured by enjoyment.
"In your next destination, in the third layer, an artifact from a firstborn exists. "The creature eats the last part of its food.
Chewing the last bones with its mouth, "This is how you will die too... Eaten by me. Get more and more delicious blood angel."
Everything returned to normal like all of it was an illusion. Ray fell to his knees; rebuilding all the parts of his brain that were destroyed was his priority.
