Chapter 229: Chapter 229: Moving Against Mary

Somewhere in the realm beyond the mist four figures could be seen floating far above the clouds.

Below them was a planet, an extremely large planet with nearly four hundred continents.

Then the smallest of those continents was significantly larger than the largest continent in the human world.

If scientists of the human world saw this world it would destroy their entire underestimating of celestial bodies.

Its size alone should not be possible, it should’ve crumbled within it own gravity considering it was larger than a blue giant.

The gravity of a planet this large should not be able to support life yet lush forests and settlements could be seen throughout this world.

Surrounding the entire planet was a faint layer of mist invisible to the eyes of most people.

Within this mist barrier there were small holes here and there turning the mist barrier into a massive net of sort.

These four beings were standing above this entire world looking down on it like gods watching upon a mortal world.

" Do you truly intend to stand in our way Dracullara?" One of them asked looking at the woman opposite them.

This woman facing three god like being simply smiled at their question. " That isn’t the question now is it?

The real question is, are the three of you willing to stand against me?" Her question made them frown.

But hesitation could be seen in their eyes, even though they were all demigods, there were still differences in their strength.

They looked at each other and nodded, " By ourselves perhaps, but there are three of us here against only you, who exactly has the advantage?" One of them, a woman with hair shimmering with stars asked.

" Who knows, shall we find out?" Dracullara answered with a soft smile, her long red hair cascading behind her like a waterfall of blood.

Even though there was no atmosphere in outer space, her hair still danced behind her like a curtain in the wind.

Seeing her now changing her stance they grew frustrated. " Your actions are futile Dracullara.

Even if you stop us, more will come, he will rise and this world shall usher in a new era, we can all finally become gods." A giant in black armour spoke in a deep voice.

" He he he, is that so? Do you even know what it is you’re trying to awaken, what its purpose is?" Her voice got cold.

" You lot, each and every one of you are foolish beyond measure, you would risk the entire world for a dream you can never attain?"

They frowned, " Do not speak as if you know anything, we have spoken with them, they would never put the world in jeopardy."

Dracullara sighed, " I see, so be it then." Her aura blazed, a red aura covered the entire sky.

Those below looked up and saw the sky turning red, rays of sunlight pierced through the sky turning the entire world red.

" Before we fight, I need to ask you something, how can you stand so directly to the sun?" The last of the tree, a man with long pointy ears asked.

He was from an old race that has mostly disappeared from the world, once believed to be descendents of fairies, he was a high elf.

Dracullara giggled at his question but didn’t didn’t answer. All three too action at the same time.

Their semi-divine realms spread out but she countered with her own, the semi-divine realms collided and crumbled.

This was why they took to outer space, normally people at their level would fight within their semi-divine realms.

A fight between people of their level was a contest between which semi-divine realm was stronger.

However in the case of equal strength, both realms would crumble forcing them to fight head on.

But they were too strong, if they fought in the world, they would cause significant levels of destruction, possibly destroying an entire continent.

That was the realm beyond the mist, if they were to fight in the human world, the entire world would break apart.

As soon as they realised their semi-divine realms combined could only match hers, they took action directly.

Stars shimmered around them from the witch mother of divinity, the giant from the Belvord clan of the round table pulled his axe.

The axe was as heavy as a mountainz he held it with both hands and lunged at her and the elf waved his hand.

An invisible force spread out trying to effect Dracullara, this was elven magic derived from dream magic.

It can trap opponents in a dream where they’ll never wake but such magic couldn’t work against Dracullara.

She pointed her finger at them, a drop of blood appeared. " Rage, sea of chaos." The drop of blood exploded.

It turned into a sea of blood crashing towards them like a tsunami. Their battle shook space itself.

It alerted other being in the world prompting them to fly up and observe to make sure their territories are not effected.

-------------------------------

In the human world.

Meggie and the others stood outside of a city waiting. Meggie frowned as she kept looking around.

’ Strange, we didn’t face any challenges coming here.’ she thought herself. Meggie understood the leaders of the factions.

She knew they had their agenda by letting the apocalypse continue like this meaning they wouldn’t allow them to try and stop it.

So it was strange that there was nobody to stop them along the way. She shook her head and sat down.

She knew Bloody Mary would appear here in a few days at most, divining that had taken a massive toll on her.

And gathering the necessary material for the spell had been incredibly hard but it was worth it.

Now they no longer needed to walk around like headless chickens. " When is it arriving?" Fiona asked.

She wanted revenge for what happened last time, the vessel of Bloody Mary left her almost dead.

Had it not been for her strong body and Meggie’s potions, she would’ve died, how could a warrior like her let something like that slide.

Meggie suddenly stood up, " She’s here." She waved her hand, enchanted iron weapons and potions appeared.

These should reduce the cold, remove mental influence and allow to hurt the spirit guards.

Everybody took what was given to them, she had created them specifically to suit them, it was obvious she had prepared for this.

She even knew which werewolves would participate, or perhaps she had prepared for all them.

Either way, her meticulous planning was working in their favour. Adrian closed his eyes, when he opened them they were cold as ice.

Before anybody could react he had teleported into the city. Annie sighed, " It’s best we move, he’s unpredictable in that state."
