Senior Master Gu opened the shrine, held out the genealogy book, and personally wrote Xiao Shumiao’s name on it.
Placing the genealogy book back in the shrine, Xiao Shumiao knelt down and kowtowed three times to the ancestors of the Gu Family.
After bowing, Gu Junzhu and Ye Xingbei each took one of his hands and helped him up.

"Okay!" Xiao Shumiao accepted the red envelopes and thanked them one by one.
Someone joked with Senior Master Gu, "Old leader, your grandson is so well-behaved and handsome, I’m itching to take him home and raise him."
"That can’t be done," Senior Master Gu chuckled, waving his hand, taking Xiao Shumiao’s hand, smiling down at him: "Not to mention we currently have only this precious one, even if I had ten or eight more, no one could steal our Gu Family’s child, isn’t that right, Xiao Shumiao?"
"Yes," Xiao Shumiao nodded seriously: "Stealing someone else’s child is illegal, and the police uncles would arrest!"
The childlike words caused a burst of laughter.
At noon, guests were still being entertained at the Gu’s ancestral mansion.
Bohe and Muu Qingwan led a group of chefs to display their skills, preparing dozens of exquisite dishes that had guests praising endlessly.
