Chapter 517: Final Ingridient
Teleporting from one area to another within the Sixth Realm, Cal collected several herbs and recreated each of them inside his Everlasting Garden.
Like that, even if he makes a mistake during the pill concocting process, which was in truth impossible considering he had his Flawless Recollection Blessing, he can just simply go and grab the herbs from his True Domain!
’And this was the last one.’ watching as a small blue grass with red veins on it gradually grew on a small tree within his domain, Cal showed a smile and quickly waved his hand.
Whoosh!
"Let’s find the others," Cal mumbled with a low voice once he made his domain vanish and quickly teleported back to the area where he first met with Daire about a month ago.
Yes, a month ago. Collecting just half of the ingredients required Cal a little more than a month which considering the rarity of each herb was an incredibly short amount of time!
[It seems they have yet to come back.]
Cal nodded gently when he saw how Daire and Khal were nowhere to be seen.
"Then I will just concoct some Essence Pills until then and increase my Body Essence." Cal after a few seconds stated calmly and without any further ado sat down on the ground before summoning a black cauldron from his Monarch Ring.
Then, using the herbs from his Everlasting Garden, Cal quickly began to concoct Essence Pills in large amounts, each ending up as Supreme-Quality pills that once swallowed increased Cal’s Body Essence at least by 5,000 units!
[You know, I was wondering why those Realm Walkers had yet to send another attack at us ever since that day.]
"Huh?" Cal was surprised by the sudden start of conversation by Nova, but as he didn’t mind it and also found the question interesting, he also began to ponder about it silently for a few moments.
It was true. Ever since the battle against the waves of Realm Cruisers the Realm Walkers have yet to start another raid despite several months having already passed!
One would think it was because things had been solved or because everything finally calmed down or perhaps because Cal caused so much damage that the Realm Walkers were trying to figure out the cause of their loss even at this moment.
However, after pondering about all this for minutes straight in silence, Cal felt things were more complicated than they seemed to be. It felt like the calm before the storm, yet, at the same time not; it was a really weird feeling that was hard to explain.
’Well, let’s not think about things we cannot foresee as that will only make our heads hurt.’ Cal shrugged a few moments later and as he pulled a golden pill out from the cauldron in front of him and threw it into his mouth, he added, ’Also, I am pretty sure Hale and the other six did as we have discussed. If those Realm Walkers really plan to initiate a raid for a second time, this time I am sure we will be warned.’
[I hope you are right...]
Cal just shook his head gently as he continued to throw one pill after another into his mouth before he asked, ’About your body... You told me that while you knew it was somewhere here within the Sixth Realm you don’t know the exact location. Were you able to figure it out ever since then?’
[Unfortunatly, while I do feel a small connection with my body, it is extremely small and almost invisible. It will take me quite a lot of time to figure out the direction much less the location.]
’And what if I feed you with some of my Body Essence? After all, you have once said you regained your memories and yourself because I had been kept feeding you with essence, right?’
[While that is true, I don’t think that would help at all. In fact, while some of them are slightly fuzzy, almost as if I am half asleep, I have long ago regained all of my memories.]
’And you can still not remember the area where your body had been left?’ Cal asked with a scarcely raised brow.
[Not only that. I thought if I recover my memories I will be able to recall what really happened to me, but whenever I try to do so the same piercing pain assaults my very being.]
Cal took a deep breath and slowly sighed the air from his lungs out, mulling over the things he could possibly do to help Nova.
However, not even after an entire hour was he able to come up with an answer, which made him feel for the first time after a very long time rather helpless.
’Wait!’ suddenly, an idea that seemed ridiculous but also feasible appeared in his mind, and thought, ’What if there is a chip that can allow you to recollect all of your memories without any backlash? Like the chip, we have found back inside that base! After all, you are a part of the bracelet, so if we modify the bracelet a little, it is possible to make you remember everything, right?’
[I don’t think such a thing is possible as I am not a complete part of your bracelet, but even if such a chip existed, how do you wish to acquire it?]
’That...’ Cal was ready to say something when suddenly two figures popped out of thin air in front of him, both looking at him and his cauldron with a raised brow.
"Finally, you guys are back." Cal quickly stood up and asked, "So? Did you get everything?"
Daire with a different lollipop in hand waved his hand and quickly placed numerous boxes in front of Cal, each seemingly sealed with different forms in order to keep the herbs in a perfect state!
"Except for one, we found everything, yes." Daire nodded, quickly making Cal raise a brow in confusion.
