Chapter 512: Trapped in the Same Body!
Somewhere in an unknown place where there was nothing but large and tall trees, a small jade temple stood in the silence with doors sealed shut.
The temple was square in shape and with a roof that was akin to a pyramid. Its tiles were wavy and made out of white marble. As for the material that made its sides and pillars, it was something similar to gold but something way sturdier and shinier than that.
As silence reigned over this small temple and its surroundings, suddenly a handsome figure emerged from the shadows in the distance and approached the small construction with slow but steady steps.
In his hand, one could easily see a single blue flower, one that looked like a rose but was way more beautiful than that.
"Sorry for being late, it’s just that something sudden and unexpected came up so I have no choice but to come late." after arriving before the small temple and placing the flower right before its doors, the handsome man straightened his posture and showed a bittersweet smile.
This man was, surprisingly, Hale, the Emperor of the Seven Realms.
However, in contrast to his calm and smiling figure that he used to show to everyone, especially to the other Lords, currently, his face held a somewhat grave expression while his eyes flashed with a mixture of anger, sorrow, regret, and passion.
A gentle breeze appeared suddenly from the east, making Hale’s long and smooth hair dance behind his back, giving his figure a kind of lonely aura that appeared around only those that lost someone precious to them.
Hale stood before the small temple for several minutes that silently turned into hours through which he did not move nor blink at all, just simply stared at the blue flower with memories together with various emotions flashing through his eyes.
"Sigh... If I would have been as strong at that time as now..." Hale sighed with regret and a sorrowful expression before his face became indifferent once more and turned around to leave.
Though, just as he did, suddenly for some unknown reasons his steps halted and simply just stared into empty air.
"Chaos," Hale spoke quietly, but the moment he said that single word the shadow from below his feet moved, and just a single meter away from his feet a black head popped out from the darkness!
"My Lord... Did you call me?"
Hale kept staring at his surroundings for a few seconds and only then did he shift his attention to the head before his face.
"Someone was here, correct?"
"Yes... My Lord... Two rats from the other world came here again..."
"And?" Hale asked, now with an eerily cold expression that immediately made the head slightly sink back into the shadow.
"My Lord... As you have ordered me I kept my eyes on them and observed everything they have done them. However, as they just came here to check on the altar as they did so far until now, I decide not to act."
Hale remained silent and after he stared at the head with a piercing glare for several seconds straight he nodded and averted his eyes.
"Good. Now go."
"As you wish, My Lord." Chaos bowed his head slightly forward before he sunk back into the shadow completely and vanished without any trace.
As for Hale, he just nodded softly and without saying a single word walked away, leaving the altar behind in the eternal silence once again.

Inside the Fourth Realm, inside a small tavern.
Sitting on one side of a table with a messy hair, a face full of bruises, and a nose that was bleeding scarcely, Liza looked at Khal and Cal with a nonchalant gaze that seemed to be a facade as her eyes shone like bright stars on the dark night sky, seemingly because of the sheer excitement she was currently feeling.
Cal, sitting with Khal on the other side of the table, looked at Liza silently with his hands interlocked before his mouth, and remained silent for several minutes before he finally broke the silence;
"Okay, let me get this straight. After you have run out of my residence that day when I told you the truth, you ran home where you cried for several hours before falling asleep. However, when you woke up, not only did you find out that half a month has passed but also that your body has... another soul within? Is that correct?"
"YES!" Liza shouted with excitement, even jumping forward from her seat a little, but her expression quickly changed into a scarcely angered face and hissed, "Why are you shouting? Can’t you just calm down?"
Cal seeing the way Liza acted and talked to herself sighed deeply, which sounded more of a relief than a sign of a headache, and asked, "Also, by the time you were ready to find me and to ask for my help, you found out that I have already ascended quite a long time ago."
"Un." Liza nodded but with excitement still visible in her eyes, "And exactly because of this why I decided to master the Soul Parting Technique when I have reached the Third Realm, but it seems I have made a mistake as..."
"Because while things have seemed to change, in truth, nothing has changed at all." Khal finished Liza’s sentence, earning a slight nod from her.
"We have tried to find a solution for... this, but no matter where we were looking, within this Realm there is nothing useful at all!" Liza said with and sneer, but when her gaze fell on Khal she quickly calmed down and a smile even formed on her pretty face.
"However..." then, suddenly Liza’s smile vanished and with a curious look at Cal, she said, "It seems we no longer have to search around for a solution as it is right in front of us. Right, Cal?"
Hearing his name Cal remained nonchalant for quite a while before he sighed and shook his head, "I fear, things won’t be as simple with you as it was with us as your case is a little... special."
