Chapter 511: Untold Truth (2-Last)
Cal and Khal waited in the sky for hours doing nothing but watching Liza’s performance from above, watching how she used her Blessings and various kinds of techniques to literally obliterate all her enemies from existence!
Frozen into cubes of ice, sliced up with wind blades, and burnt to ashes. Every cultivator that tried to approach her ended up with such a fate without any given chance to escape or regret their decision.
This also meant all the Battle Essence the corpses left behind were consumed by Liza, slowly but surely pushing her closer to the Third Cultivation Realm and also a step closer to becoming a Fifth Realm Existence!
Time passed just like that and days quickly flew by without Khal’s or Cal’s notice.
"It’s finally over." Khal sighed with relief when he saw how no more cultivators tried to approach Lize because of either fear of dying or because they were just too exhausted or injured to attack her.
"Let’s follow her," Cal stated when he watched how Liza gradually began to walk toward a northern direction where seemingly a city was located.
"I think it is time for us to say hi to her." just after a second that Liza was let inside the city because she paid enough Gold Coins, Cal teleported Khal a few meters behind Liza while he decided to watch everything from the shadows on the side.
Khal was surprised when he saw this and even a little nervous about what he should say, but seeing how Liza didn’t stop and was even getting further and further away from him, he clenched his teeth and finally spoke;
"Liza!"
"?!" Liza’s feet halted in a flash the moment Khal’s voice reached her ear, and with a visible trembling body, almost as if she was scared to turn around she slowly shifted her head behind.
And soon enough, the moment her eyes fell on Khal’s face and body, her pretty eyes widened like saucers, and her pretty cherry lips parted from utter disbelief.
"Liza... It’s me... Khal." Khal said with a facade that looked confident, but from the nervous way, he smiled it was obvious, that he was anxious too.
"Although I know it is strange and hard to believe after all my look had been changed a little bit, I am really Khal, Khal Nevio." Khal talked as he watched Liza turn around and approach him, trying to prove he was not a stranger disguised as him nor someone else possessing his body, but really him.
Liza walked before Khal and once she was only two feet away from him she looked straight into his eyes and pondered silently.
"Liza..." Khal was almost on the verge of crying finally able to see Liza, but soon something he didn’t expect to hear froze every muscle in him stiff.
"No... You are not him." Liza mumbled before she soon started to look left and right hastily almost as if she was searching for someone.
"Eh?" Khal was left speechless for numerous minutes, but after 2 h snapped out of his daze and looked at Liza. However, just as he could have said anything, Liza seemed to find who she wanted and without any further ado quickly walked toward a withered tree.
"Just how long do you wish to hide over there?" Liza asked with narrowed eyes, staring at the empty air as if someone was standing there despite obviously no one being there.
[It seems you have been busted. How funny.]
Cal was stupefied seeing Liza staring straight at him but as he had no chance of pretending he was not there, obviously because he was already found out, he deactivated his Invisibility Cloak, showing himself to Liza.
However, the reaction he got from Liza once appeared before she was nothing he had ever dreamed about seeing.
"Cal... So it was true..." thick drops of tears began to flow out from the corner of Liza’s eyes uncontrollably and even before Cal could have processed what was happening Liza threw herself onto him!
’THE FUCK!?!?’ just after realizing what was happening Cal cursed loudly in his heart and wished to push Liza away to ask what was going on, but it seemed there was no need for that.
"Hey! We promised we don’t do something like this!" suddenly Liza jumped backward with an angry face but soon her expression turned cold and shouted, "No! We only promised we don’t do anything intimate with them! We did not promise we can’t hug them!"
Then, again, Liza’s face turned angry, and stated, "No, that was not what we promised to each other!"
"It was!" with a sudden change in expression, Liza replied coldly before her hand moved, and under the confused and stupefied gazes of both Khal and Cal she punched her own face!
"So? Can you remember what we promised to each other like this?" Liza formed a mocking smile despite her nose bleeding, but not even a second later her other hand moved, and with twice as much force she punched herself in the face!
"Y-You fucking bitch! Know your place!"
SLAP!
"YOU!"
PAFF!!
While Liza was literally fighting and beating herself up in the middle of the street almost as if she had been possessed by a ghost or a demon, Khal walked beside Cal and with a puzzled look he asked;
"What the... actual fuck is going on here?"
Cal shifted his attention at Khal for a second before looking back at Liza and opening his mouth. However, no matter what he tried to think to say, he couldn’t find the words to reply to that question.
The sight before him was just simply too confusing for him to process, despite having a rough idea of what was going on at the moment. However, if his guess turns out to be true, then...
[It seems things start to get interesting.]
