Chapter 509: Sixth Realm, Realm of Celestial Existences

A massive explosion shook the interior of the God Pillar as various abilities clashed against each other, killing and wiping out a large number of winged beasts as if they were nothing beat weak ants!
"You..." slicing five winged beasts using his sword, Khal’s eyes widened with shock when he saw how Cal literally obliterated hundreds of creatures with a single wave of his hand, "Can you at least make it look like you are struggling?"
Using his Moonshadow to shred another group of winged beasts into pieces without halting his ascension, Cal looked behind Khal over his shoulder before turning back around and starting to pant heavily.
"Okay... I will take back my words. Just act as if I have said nothing." Khal cringed upon seeing Cal’s act and quickly activated one of his newly learned Martial Techniques.
Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!
"That is a pretty interesting technique," Cal exclaimed calmly upon seeing how Khal made his sword fly around the place, slicing and cutting through the armors of the beasts as if they were tofu.
"I got this technique from one of my... Your Loyal Followers as a gift of gratitude."
[Tsk... He is reaping what should have been yours.]
Cal just smiled secretly in his heart upon hearing Nova’s somewhat angry voice while proceeding on slaying the winged beasts as if they were just mere flies.
Currently, the two of them were on floor 57, meaning they have climbed more than 57,000 steps where the number of beasts attacking them not only was above the 10,000 mark but also the pressure weighing down on their shoulders was tremendous!
Literally, the weight was so heavy that their bodies were sweating buckets and it was visible as their hair and robes stuck to their skin. It was not an exaggeration to say they looked like someone walking out of a lake after jumping in without caring if they had their clothes on or not!
"Argh... Is there really no end to them?" reaching floor 65 after walking for half an hour, Khal halted his steps while swinging his arm with an exhausted look.
[He has kept your accumulated Body Essence, hasn’t he? Then why is he so exhausted?]
’He did.’ Cal nodded his head as he looked back at Khal who was swallowed by the hord of beasts, ’But that doesn’t mean a thing. In the past, I resisted pressure with the help of my bracelet. Body Essence only matters during the usage of different skills and abilities.’
[Then, don’t you want to help him? At this rate he will be killed and shredded into pieces by those harpies.]
’I guess I have no choice.’ Cal sighed and quickly activated his Power Core ’Blade Domain’ and ’Presence Tracking’.

Tens of thousands of swords rained down from the sky as each sword pierced one or two winged beasts, sending them to the bottom of the God Pillar!
"T-Thank you..." Khal panted heavily as he wiped the sweat away from his face.
"Here. Eat these." Cal summoned several pills from his Monarch Rings and handed them over to Khal, "These are Resistance Boosting Pills, Stamina Recovery Pills, Mind Soothing Pills, and Body Tempering Pills. Each of them being Supreme-Quality Pills."
Khal nodded his head and without any hesitation threw the pills into his mouth before following after Cal and resuming slaughtering the beasts and following after Cal.
Time passed like that with the sound of battle filling the entirety of the God Pillar and after ascending for more than 19 hours the two of them finally reached the 99th floor.
However, different from all the floors which were just empty flat platforms after every 1,000 steps, the final floor now contained a massive egg that pulsated with gentle black light.
It even emitted a powerful aura that made Khal’s face turn pale while it made Cal narrow his eyes.
"It seems that thing is nothing more but a pulsating egg." after waiting for several minutes in silence but without noticing any change, Khal pointed behind the pulsating egg where a long and straight staircase was visible with a black gate at its end.
Tremble!!
[He had to jinx it, huh?]
Nova exclaimed with annoyance when she saw how everything around them began to shake and tremble as if a tremor hit the God Pillar while cracks started to spread through the egg’s surface at a rapid pace.
Cal, on the other hand, didn’t hesitate to activate his Mechanical Saber, and channeling a massive amount of Body Essence into it he cut the egg into two.
SPLASH!
With a large explosion, the egg exploded like a balloon filled with water, splattering black liquid in every direction that seemingly had a corrosive effect as everything it come into contact with dissolved in seconds!
"I don’t know what that thing was, but I am glad I didn’t have to find it out." sighing with relief, Khal watched as Cal unsummoned the barrier he created from around them, slowly approaching the spot where the egg and the beast that was about to hatch was.
[What’s that?]
In the middle of the corrosive black liquid that slowly melted the ground away as if it was ice cream under the burning hot sun, a small ink-black orb lay lonely, waiting to be picked up.
’I don’t know but I am pretty sure Hale will be able to tell us.’ Cal stated it and quickly put the black orb into his Monarch Ring.
[Congratulations! You have successfully killed the Realm Guard!]

Once the voice which sounded like Daire finished speaking, Cal watched as in the distance the side of the God Pillar separated and opened, revealing a new sight which without any shadow of a doubt, was the scenery belonging to the Sixth Realm!
Cal seeing this couldn’t help but form a satisfied and delighted smile before gesturing at Khal to follow him.
Just after a decade since he was brought into this new world, Cal finally accomplished a feat that only one out of a million could achieve; he has become a Celestial Existence, someone that was on the apex of the cultivation world!
