Chapter 505: Meeting & Exploring the Zero Realm (2-Last)
After sending Khal back to the Fifth Realm Hale began to discuss many things with the Lords while Cal just simply listened and only talked or raised his opinion when he was asked to do so.
’This feels weird.’ sitting on a silver throne at the edge of the platform with no one around him, Cal threw one Essence Pill into his body one after another, increasing his Body Essence silently.
[Why so?]
’Dunno. It just feels weird to be here.’ Cal thought in his heart with a soft shrug, throwing another Essence Pill into his mouth while feeling how from time to time gazes from the other Lords fell on his body.
The meeting lasted for about three days and nights without almost no rest at all. During these three days, Hale and the seven Lords discussed numerous things, including the issue regarding the Realm Walkers and how they should prepare themselves against them if they all of a sudden decide to attack them once again.
"Any questions? Or perhaps other thoughts that you think about and believe would work out better?" Hale asked once they seemed to reach the end of their meeting.
"In fact, I have." suddenly Daire raised his hand, immediately drawing everyone’s attention to him.
"Let’s hear it." Hale gestured at Daire to talk.
Daire nodded his head and as he directed his gaze at Cal he started to talk, "What about if we don’t wait and instead strike first?"
"Huh?"
All the Lords together with Hale raised a brow in confusion, but they didn’t have to wait for minutes for Daire to continue his sentence;
"What I mean, is that we should use Cal’s bracelet and open a Realm Portal and destroy the Realm Walkers."
"And how do you wish to do that? We don’t even know if those Realm Walkers use their bracelets to travel between worlds or something else not to mention if Cal is capable of doing it or not. After all, if he could open Realm Portals at free will, I believe he would have already told us or at least try to do it." Selenia pointed out with an indifferent expression to which Nefia and Iara nodded in agreement.
Daire, however, shook his head and pointed his right index finger at Cal, "That is not true. Although you were not there, I have seen him use his bracelet to travel through the Realm Portal, and so did Lord Hale, Iara, and Pilzrod. "
When Daire said those words, everyone’s eyes widened and subconsciously shifted their attention at Cal, who even at this moment was swallowing High-Quality Essence Pills as if they were just candy.
"Cal, do you think you can create a Realm Portal using your bracelet?" Hale was the one who decided to ask the question that everyone was thinking about at the moment.
"I..." swallowing down the pill in his mouth, Cal glanced at the Artifact Cores placed into his bracelet, "The Artifact Core I have used to travel through the Realm Portal is called Minor Realm Jump. I can use it to travel between worlds using the Realm Portal, but it does not allow me to create a Realm Portal, I am sorry."
Hale hummed quietly before something came to his mind and asked, "And what about the chip we have acquired back in the Fourth Realm? Did you figure out its use already? Maybe it was a key that-"
"I have figured out its use, yeah." Cal interrupted Hale which earned a small frown from Selenia but quickly continued, "However, that chip did not grant me the ability to summon Realm Portals."
"Then what is it capable of doing?" Pilzrod asked with a small sneer, his hand holding a large piece of meat.
"Do any of you guys have an ore or raw material?" Cal then decided to ask, puzzling everyone.
However, Hale soon waved his hand and Cal watched as a small piece of shiny green reappeared in front of his face.
"That crystal is called Grass Emerald, a Supreme-Quality ore which through tempering can become as flexible as rubber but as sharp as a knife. It also can be found in nature, usually on large and seemingly vast grasslands." Hale gave everyone a brief description.
"I see, thank you." Cal nodded and without further hesitation grabbed the ore and silently activated a new ability he acquired after the chip melted into his bracelet, known as God’s Touch!
BAM!
A large pillar of light exploded toward the sky the moment Cal grabbed the Grass Emerald and under the intense gaze of everyone the ore slowly began to shrink in size.
"Th-That is God Essence?! But how?" everyone’s eyes widened like saucers as all of them were well aware of just what one needed to do to bring out an ore’s God Essence!
[Congratulations! You have successfully created Power Core ’Material Shift’!]
Once the Grass Emerald turned into a small green core and was placed into his bracelet, Cal touched the silver throne he sat on, immediately turning it into a rubber-like material that became bouncy.
"That is amazing," Hale exclaimed in awe, before letting out a soft sigh and saying, "Well, I guess we will stay with the original plan."
All the Lords nodded their heads and after giving one final glance at Cal they all stood up and vanished from their spots.
As for Hale, he quickly teleported before Cal and asked calmly, "So? Are you ready?"
Turning the throne back into its original state with his newly acquired power, Cal threw an Essence Pill into his mouth and nodded.
Hale just smiled and without any further ado waved his hand, quickly taking Cal to the Zero Realm, the world which from now on will be his task to protect.
"I always wished to ask this, but if the Zero Realm is a hidden Realm, how did that cultivator you have killed in the past find it? Or are there races that live here?" flying through the sky while watching the scenery below his feet, Cal decided to ask the question that had been occupying his mind for a very long time by now.
