Chapter 493: Closing the Realm Portal

Back inside the Fifth Realm, Hale watched silently as Khal used his massive plasma sword to annihilate tens of thousands of Realm Cruisers as if they were nothing but ants before him!

’Despite being only a Fifth Realm Cultivator his abilities alone put him to equal levels as a Supreme Existence. Maybe I should make him a Lord?’ Hale contemplated the idea with a grave expression.

"This won’t do it. There is just way too many and no matter how many we kill more will appear." Khal suddenly spoke his concerns and transformed his plasma sword back to its original shape and size.

[It seems they are coming from the same direction. Maybe there is a rift from where they are flooding in?]

’Very likely.’ Khal nodded as he didn’t believe this many Realm Cruisers had been hiding within the Fifth Realm all this time.

Hell, the number of Realm Cruisers he alone had just killed was enough to fill numerous planets to the brim not to mention the ones that Hale and the two Lords in the distance destroyed!

"Hale, is there any way to stop this chaos?" Khal decided to ask, frowning as he wished to find a solution to a great problem.

Hale looked at Khal and seeing his honest expression pointed toward the direction where the Realm Cruisers ’ was the most in numbers, "There is a rift, a known Realm Portal there. The Realm Cruisers are flooding in through that so our only chance is to seal it."

"And if my guess is correct you already tried ways but failed, correct?" Khal asked.

"Yeah," Hale nodded his head, "It seems the only way to close the Realm Portal is from the other side. Not even my power can close the rift which actually kind of annoys me."

"From the inside?" Khal raised a brow and asked with somewhat puzzlement, "Then why don’t we just send a blast to the other side and let it blow the Realm Portal up?"

"Because you can’t. The portal seems to be a rather special one as except for Realm Cruisers nothing can be sent back through the Realm Portal. It is somewhat akin to a one-way passage."

Khal frowned upon hearing these words and began to twist his brain to find a solution. But no matter how long or hard he tried to think, he found no solution.

[Wait... Why only Realm Cruisers are allowed to use the rift back and forth?]

Khal’s eyes lit up with realization the moment he heard Nova’s question which didn’t go unnoticed by Hale. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"It seems you have figured out something?" Hale asked with a knowing smile.

Khal nodded his head and explained, "That is true, but I am not sure it will work. I think the last jewel I acquired previously is the reason why Realm Cruisers can travel back through the Realm Portal."

"Oh? That makes sense indeed." Hale mumbled as he nodded and after pondering for a while he grabbed Khal by the shoulder and teleported them away.

BOOOOOM!

A massive explosion arose the moment Khal and Hale appeared out of thin space in an area where the number of Realm Cruisers was so much that they literally covered one’s vision completely!

"There it is. The Realm Portal." within a half-transparent barrier where they were safe, Hale pointed forward which immediately caused all the Realm Cruisers in a wide path to be destroyed, revealing a large blue vortex floating in empty space.

Khal examined the Realm Portal for a few seconds before he activated his Invisibility Cloak and flew toward the blue vortex. And it seemed because he was invisible and seemingly undetectable, he easily reached the Realm Portal.

’Wish me luck...’ Khal thought and extended his hand to touch the swirling blue vortex.

Whoosh!

[It worked!]

Watching how Khal’s hand vanished from sight Nova exclaimed out loud to which an excited smile formed on Khal’s handsome face.

"Let’s put end to all this, shall we?" without further ado Khal flew through the blue vortex with the flooding Realm Cruisers below his feet and watched as a weird sensation swept through him before he found himself in a completely different environment.

However, the sight that waited for him was not what he expected to see at all.

Once he arrived at the other side of the Realm Portal he found himself in this massive chamber or room with at least a mile square meter with walls as tall as a skyscraper. On either side, machines of various looks and sizes moved and worked nonstop, seemingly creating and shaping mechanical parts which later on were put together as Realm Cruisers!

It was like a massive factory where Realm Cruisers were produced without any rest!

[This is madness...]

Khal was shocked beyond disbelief but soon his gaze spotted a man in a black uniform in the sky on a floating platform, watching over everything that happened inside the factory.

Khal was able to spot several other humans in white uniforms behind the one on the platform, each seemingly busy working on stuff that was assigned to them personally.

’So they are the Realm Walkers?’ Khal thought as he noticed how the man with the black uniform had the exact same bracelet on his wrist on his hand as he had.

[Let’s just detonate this whole place already.]

Khal pondered silently, contemplating whether he should go up to the man and ask him questions about the bracelet and why they are invading Hale’s world, but soon realized it would be a foolish decision.

After all, there were just way too many things he didn’t understand, including the strength of these Realm Walkers, their technology, and what they were capable of doing.

’This is not the right time.’ Khal thought in his heart before he extended his hand and a small black hole appeared floating above his palm.

"Let’s get out of here," Khal mumbled, and after channeling a massive amount of his Body Essence into the black hole he threw it into the distance before jumping back into the Realm Portal.

Meanwhile, the man in the black uniform seemingly noticed that something was wrong and directed his eyes at the small floating black orb just a few meters below the platform.

"What is th-" the man wished to figure out what it was, but unfortunately he had no time as the black orb suddenly expanded in size like an explosion, quickly swallowing the whole factory in its entirety while sucking and ripping everything in its large proximity into pieces under seconds!
