Chapter 492: Realm Portal

Suddenly Nova asked Khal, to which Khal laughed coldly and shook his head in his heart.
’While I can kill without mercy or any guilt, I prefer not to extinguish lives that are innocent or do not deserve death. And if I try this plasma saber on a planet, it is very likely I will end up doing exactly that.’
[Then what about a moon? No one lives on them.]
’About that...’ Khal seemed to consider that offer and looked around, only to spot a small moon in the far distance with the help of his Heaven’s Eye and other Power Cores that boosted his sight and tracking ability.
"Let’s see what the other two Artifact Cores can do," Khal spoke calmly and quickly using Space Teleportation which immediately teleported right in front of the moon that was seemingly several thousands of miles away!
"So the third jewel allows you to teleport far distances in a blink?" Hale appeared beside Khal and watched as they now were pretty far away from the battlefield where Iara and Pilzrod were still fighting.
"Not quite right. I can teleport anywhere I want until I see the location." Khal corrected Hale as his Space Teleportation worked a little bit differently than normal teleportation techniques and abilities.
"I see. Then why did you teleport here? You wish to try that sword’s power, don’t you?"
"Yeah, I do want." Khal nodded without hiding his intention and swung the blue plasma sword that his bracelet was radiating akin to a modern version of a lightsaber.
However, his target surprisingly was not the moon which Nova and Hale initially believed would be but the millions of Realm Cruisers in the far distance.
"Wha-" Hale wished to ask why he teleported so far away if he was targeting the Realm Cruisers, but it was not a second before he watched a sight that not even he would have expected to see.
With a movement that was neither slow nor fast, Khal swung his plasma sword horizontally from side to side which with each traveled fraction of an inch grew several thousand meters in size!
"This..." Hale was stupefied, to say the least, as he watched how Khal’s plasma sword became thousands of miles long and without seemingly any restriction sliced and annihilated hundreds of thousands of Realm Cruisers as if they were just chickens before a butchering knife!
Even Iara and Pilzrod, two Supreme Existences were forced to dodge his attack, showing just how terrifyingly powerful his plasma sword truly was as it could even threaten the lives of Higher Existences!
"How did you do it? Those Realm Cruisers did not do something like this before." Hale asked once the plasma sword was shrunk back to its original size under the control of Khal.
"It is because they possess no Body Essence." Khal showed a small grin and quickly repeated his previous action a few more times, slicing hundreds of thousands of Realm Cruisers with a single swing!
"Tsk... That brat ruins my fun!" Pilzrod clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction as he watched how close to half of the previous amount of Realm Cruisers got destroyed.
"Fun? Since when did a large-scale war such as this one become fun? I hope you realize this but if we don’t stop these invading robots the Fifth Realm and all the cultivators existing within will be screwed!" Iara hissed through her pearly teeth, barely keeping her anger in control.
"Thanks for stating the obvious Miss.Obvious! Not like I am the Lord of this Realm." Pilzrod rolled his eyes which further enraged Iara and added, "Though what should I say? Unless we won’t go and seal the Realm Portal, which we have already tried and failed, we can only fight the endless waves of these robots and release our accumulated boredom onto them. What is it if not fun?"
Iara took a deep breath hearing Pilzrod’s words before looking in the direction where Hale and Khal were and speaking, "That boy... He possesses a treasure that can control the crystals these Realm Cruisers use. Maybe he can also close the Realm Portal."
"Whether he can or can’t, I will still enjoy the chaos that is happening here to my fullest and I don’t care what you think or say." Pilzrod threw a pork chop into his mouth in the midst of the chaos around him while also doing counters with his greatsword.
This naturally earned another annoyed sneer from Iara which was lived on the approaching groups of Realm Cruisers in a rather merciless way.
Meanwhile, somewhere in another world or perhaps in a separate space, a group of people wearing ultra-modern clothes and accessories stood before a massive gate through which hundreds of thousands of robots ran with seemingly the same objective; to kill.
"Leader, are we sure this is the right choice?" standing atop an elevated platform from where the entirety of the massive circular gate with the swirling blue vortex within could be seen, a man wearing a white uniform approached another wearing black, his gaze filled with anxiety and respect.
The man wearing the same ultra-modern style uniform as the man beside him glanced to the side before redirecting his gaze at the gate and stating, "We have been found out and according to our protocol if such a thing happens we either eliminate the individual who found us or destroy the whole world to erase any potential risks."
"And as you may have seen it because the former option failed not once but twice already we have no other choice but to do the second option."
"Yeah, but don’t we still have our... subject in that world?"
The man wearing the black uniform and the one who seemed to have the authority over the gate pondered silently and stated, "According to my information our subject is not within the Realm we wish to destroy, so there is no need to worry. You can go back to your work."
"Understood." the man in white bowed and calmly walked away, no longer caring what kind of fate the world on the other side of the gate will reach.
