Chapter 490: Realm Cruisers
"I see. Though, now that fate decided to make all of you my followers I will promise I won’t treat you badly." Khal showed a calm smile and waved his hand gently.
Whoosh!
"This..." the old turtle with all the others behind him widened their eyes and grabbed the small crates floating in the air in front of them, looking rather puzzled.
"Consider this as a welcoming gift, a boon for becoming my followers, who in my eyes are akin to disciples or members of my family. Yes, you all from this moment on are official members of my family, the Nevio Family! Hence, until I won’t ascend to the Sixth Realm I will make sure to help you become strong!"
Upon hearing Khal’s words everyone trembled with joy and excitement which didn’t take a second to turn into disbelief once they opened the lids of their crates and saw the contents residing within them.
Hundreds of High-Quality Pills with different effects, weapons that contained at least one Spiritual Weapon within, accessories with powerful formations formed on them, and other useful items that alone could push the weakest cultivator with an almost useless Blessing to become a terrifying foe against powerful enemies!
"We... We are deeply thankful for you, Master!" each being quickly kneeled down before Khal, not caring at all that Khal was young enough to be their great-grandchildren for each of them!
Khal smiled with satisfaction seeing the almost fifty beings in front of him and nodded his head, "Now go, cultivate and try to form your True Domain. As far as I can sense it, the majority of you only need to take the final step to form your True Domain which won’t take a long time to do it."
Everyone stood up with shining eyes and with their grip firmly around the crates in front of their chests they bowed with respect and quickly ran away, seemingly eager to use the pills and items they will very likely boost their progress by a huge margin.
Of course, those items were the treasures Khal has once gotten way back in the Second Realms and also the things he has looted from the corpses of the cultivators he has killed during his time in the Fourth Realm.
[Now what will you do?]
"Hm?" Khal hummed slightly once he was finally alone and after the words that Nova just said reached his brain he stated, "Now that I have reached the peak of the Fifth Realm as Hale said, I will go and meet him."
And just like that, Khal quickly took out the token from his spatial ring and poured a small amount of his Body Essence into it which as a result teleported him away.
Whoosh!
"What?"
However, what Khal didn’t expect to witness the very moment he regained his vision was a sight where he was floating in empty space while around him planets and moons exploded into millions of pieces while the Celestial Pillars connected them collapsed and shattered into massive pieces of chunks!
"The he-" Khal wished to speak but the moment he opened his mouth his eyes bulged and subconsciously raised his hands to hold his throat.
He was in empty space with no air around him! Of course, he was suffocating without any chance to breathe!
[Calm down. You are a cultivator. You can survive even underwater for hours straight, perhaps for days. Just use your Domain and everything will be fine.]
Hearing Nova’s voice Khal lowered his hands and nodded, quickly regaining his composure despite being unable to breathe. It seemed he overreacted a little bit thing, but luckily for his Divine Soul Sutra, he was able to keep his emotions in check while also regaining his calmness in a flash.
Then, once he cleared his mind, which didn’t even take him 3 seconds, he closed his eyes, and as he ignored the explosions around him with the soaring and massive pieces of planet segments and Celestial Pillar chunks he summoned his Domain.
Whoosh!
[Good. Now shrunk its size until there is only a small piece under your feet.]
Khal nodded and slowly started to pull his domain back into his Soul World, only leaving an extremely small portion below his feet which was barely visible.
[Nice. Now d-]
Nova wished to assist and tell Khal what he should do next, but it seemed it was needless. The moment Khal’s domain shrunk to less than a meter around him, he used his Body Essence through his Domain from his body to form an incredibly thin barrier around him, connected to the domain’s ground under his feet.
Like that, he could create air with one of his Power Cores within, allowing him to freely breathe.
"Great job. It would have been glad if I could have helped you do it, but seems there was no need for my aid."
After he was finally able to breathe again and opened his eyes, Khal saw Hale appear in front of him at some point in time while behind him a massive explosion occurred as two chunks of planets crashed into each other.
"What happened here?" Khal showed a puzzled frown, waiting for Hale to explain everything.
"This will be a long story so I will just tell you briefly." Hale sighed and swung his hand to the side which caused something in the distance to explode despite Khal seeing nothing there.
"While you were forming your domain I decided to check out the few starships within this Realm but not even before I could have approached the first one I had been attacked."
"Again?" Khal asked with puzzlement and watched as Hale waved his hand, quickly blasting something into pieces once again in the distance.
Hale nodded his head before he shook it and said, "Yeah, but this time it was them that started the fight and not me. They even sent hundreds of thousands of millions of these mechanical and unique... robots at me that act and behave just like normal beings do."
"Wait... Does that mean you have been fighting all of them until now all alone?" Khal asked, feeling a hint of disbelief. After all, while he could fight thousands alone at once he couldn’t fight hundreds of thousands or millions, much less the number of enemies Hale just mentioned!
"Hm? Haha, of course not." Hale chuckled softly and after blowing another thing in the distance he pointed toward a specific direction, "Although I didn’t ask them to help me, they were reluctant to offer their service."
