Chapter 489: Realm Dungeons

After killing the Titan, Khal was teleported onto the planet that was at the other end of the Celestial Pillar. However, the sight he was welcomed with once he got to see the scenery on the planet was far from what he imagined to see.

Although Khal didn’t explore his planet as almost 90% of the cultivators that succeeded in reaching the Fifth Realm, he had a rough guess of what resided on it and what he could find if he wished to. Though, the Titan’s planet was nothing compared to his.

Khal’s planet was a planet filled with oceans, forests, and vast grass fields with a few cave entrances here and there. On the other hand, the Titan’s planet was nothing but floating islands all around the place, each connected with wooden bridges with one another while the boiling planet core was visible to the naked eye if one decided to look down at the edge!

Moreover, each floating island differed as on one there was a jungle while on the other there was a construction that looked rather similar to a temple or an altar!

[Each planet has its own unique environment and appearance. Of course, this does not mean that there are no two planets with similarities, but they are very few and very likely several light-years far from one another!]

’I see.’ Khal nodded before he raised a brow and shifted his head to the left, where several individuals, each hailing from different races approached the island with the help of the wooden bridge he was currently on.

"So Master Xul has been defeated?" once the group consisting of around 40 cultivators arrived less than ten meters away from Khal they halted with the one on the front speaking calmly.

This being was an old creature with an appearance of a turtle, seemingly hailing from the same race as those two cultivators Khal has once met with back in the Second Realm.

Of course, Khal could also remember how those two ended up getting killed because they looked down on him, Senior Lin, and all the humans in general.

"I see." the old cultivator nodded his head as if realizing something, and without further ado clasped his hands before his chest and bowed with deep respect.

As for the rest of the beings behind his back, they followed suit and did the same as the old turtle, showing their respect to Khal, accepting him as their new master who they will follow with deep loyalty.

[You have gained 47 new Loyal Followers.]

Khal sighed gently as he did not plan on gaining any Loyal Followers, hence why he killed the Titan back there, but it seemed he could not avoid gaining a few. In fact, now that he thought about it, it was an impossible wish to gain none as no matter what once he killed those within the Celestial Pillar if they had any Loyal Followers it was 99% sure they will accept him as their masters.

After all, who would be stupid enough to fight against someone who killed the individual who beat and forced them to surrender? Only a retard would choose to do such a foolish thing, right?

After talking with the group in front of him, Khal learned that the Titan previously called Xul was an arrogant individual who didn’t torture or humiliated his Loyal Followers in fact did not support them at all. He just looked at them like ants who could be used to help him build or obtain things he wished to before continuing to ignore them.

"Did any of you successfully form their True Domain?" Khal then decided to ask a question to which the cultivators just showed a bittersweet smile and shook their heads.

Like, what kind of question was that? Forming one’s True Domain was an extremely challenging process and needed an insane amount of time. Even Xul, a heaven-defyingly talented genius among the Titan Race needed several decades to successfully form his, while he also used the help of his Loyal Followers to obtain numerous items and treasures that could boost the speed of his cultivation.

"Treasures? What kind of treasures did he ask you to find for him?" Khal raised a brow.

Of course, when he considered how his Divine Soul Sutra helped him skip the third step, it was not a huge surprise to hear there were other treasures, pills, plants, or other items that could assist one through their cultivation or directly push them through steps in order to allow them to create their True Domain!

"There was a total of three items he asked from us to find for him, each could be found in Realm Dungeons." the old cultivator explained and gave Khal a brief explanation about these Realm Dungeons.

According to him, Realm Dungeons could be found in some of the planets’ cores where danger was extremely high, and not even those with a True Domain could survive once entered. However, with great risk comes great opportunities, and within each Realm Dungeon, one could find treasures that could help one with their cultivation within the Fifth Realm!

"Wait, then how did you succeed in obtaining the treasures if not even those with a True Domain had a high chance to escape alive from the dungeon?" Khal frowned with puzzlement, "Didn’t you just say none of you succeeded in forming your True Domain?"

"That is true. But our numbers were much more than now. In reality, in the past, we had several tens of cultivators with a completely formed domain, but alas, Xul all ordered them to acquire the items from the Realm Dungeons which resulted in sacrificing their lives with hundreds of others. In the end, only we were left alive." the old cultivator explained, mixed emotions such as anger and sorrow flashing within his gaze.

It was obvious that while Xul didn’t care who lived and who died among his followers, those who followed him cared deeply about each other.

And now that they were finally freed from Xul’s shackles, they not only felt relief, and sorrow for their lost comrades and friends, but also deep gratitude toward Khal who they didn’t even know what kind of individual was.
