Chapter 431: Liza’s Arrival

"This guy... He really knows what he is doing." atop a small building, Elder Lane stared at the extremely long line below him about a hundred meters away which gave one a feeling of looking at a long serpentine instead of a long queue!
"Sect Master, are you sure no problems will arise because of this?" next to Elder Lane, Elder Shiu glanced at Senior Lin who stood just a single step away from him.
"You don’t have to worry, there will be none." Senior Lin crossed her arms before her chest, and said, "You have experienced it too after getting his ’blessing’, right? You are no longer weak and pathetic as before. You finally have what it takes to take head-on those on the same Cultivation Stage and perhaps even those that are above you! You all finally have the strength, the real strength to protect both yourselves and this sect."
"Sect Master is right. Thanks to Elder Khal, Moon Sect finally became worthy to hold the title Moon, something that the Ancestor always wanted." Elder Hina nodded from behind Elder Shiu.
"Talking about the Ancestor... I wonder when he will get out of his Secluded Cultivation. It has been quite a long while since he locked himself away from the world." Elder Rene muttered quietly at which all the Elders fell into deep thoughts.
Time passed rather quickly and in a flash, an entire day have passed and it seemed everyone who has joined the sect in the past few days has gotten their blessing from Khal.
"Phew... Finally, it’s over!" leaning back into his chair with a rather exhausted look, Khal closed his eyes and decided to take nap.
In the past few days, he was constantly using his Power Blessing while also replenishing his lost Body Essence whenever he blessed someone.
[You have done a great job.]
"Thank you," Khal mumbled as he was ready to doze off, but just as he could have fallen into a deep sleep someone suddenly knocked on his door.
"Fuck... Who now?" pushing himself up onto his feet in a rather exhausted manner, Khal walked slowly toward the entrance and opened it.
"I have told this, but I won’t bless no one for the time... Being... Eh?" Khal massaged his temple as he began to speak, but once he reached the end of his sentence and opened his eyes to see who knocked on the door, his body and mouth froze in an instant.
"Dear Lord, what happened with you? You look horrible! Have you even slept properly?" in front of Khal, a beauty that was charming beyond words stood with both hands over her slim waist, looking rather angry at the moment for no apparent reason.
"L-Liza?" Khal mumbled with a slightly dumbfounded face, but when he saw it was indeed Liza and she didn’t change into someone else after he blinked a few times, his expression became delighted.
However, just as he was about to take a step forward and hug her, he suddenly realized something, something he has promised himself in the past hence he came to an abrupt halt.
"Khal?" Liza seemed to notice Khal’s strange change of behavior as she even prepared herself for him to hug her and perhaps even for a kiss, thus she was slightly confused why he didn’t.
Khal looked at Liza in silence and after thinking for a while he sighed before regaining his composure and showing a wide smile, "You look just as beautiful as always. Though, I wonder why it did take you so long to ascend. You said it would take you a month but obviously, more than that has passed."
Liza’s face became slightly red when she heard Khal’s sudden compliment, but when she saw how he smiled and even gestured for her to step inside the house, her face became even redder.
"T-Thank you."
Once inside, Liza looked around with curious eyes and couldn’t help but let out an awed gasp as Khal’s place was rather luxurious, almost as luxurious as Miss Mary’s mansion.
"So this is where you live, huh?" Liza asked as she sat down on the couch and jumped on it a few times, enjoying how bouncy it was.
"Yeah. After I have become an Elder the Sect Master renovated my residence a little bit." Khal nodded as he placed a cup of tea before Liza.
"Oh... Thank you." Liza was pleasantly surprised but when she picked the cup up and took a sip, her eyes brightened while her face turned ecstatic.
"Ah~! So delicious! How did you know this was one of my favorites?" Liza asked with a sweet smile as she started at Khal and took another sip.
’How would I not know?’ Khal thought in his heart as he just smiled calmly. Liza was Nancy, hence she behaved the same, loved the same things, slept the same, and did everything the same way. It was only natural for him to know what she liked and did not like.
"Anyways, what happened afterward I have left?" after taking a sip from his tea too, Khal decided to ask Liza about the other back in the First Realm. Although he has learned quite a lot of things from Logan, he wanted to hear the story from Liza’s side too.
Liza nodded and quickly began to narrate to Khal the events that happened after he left. How Moon Academy and its sect became the strongest on the Southern Continent, how the entirety of the Ourvi Family had been erased from existence in its entirety, and how everyone was able to reach the Tenth Cultivation Stage thanks to him revealing that secret to them.
According to Liza, after Logan successfully reached the Tenth Cultivation Stage and ascended, the secret was slowly spread throughout the whole Southern Continent and the other three main continents!
When Khal heard this he nodded with satisfaction as this is exactly what he wanted to hear. Like this, humans slowly but surely will be able to get stronger and become a race that no longer will be looked down upon!
"And you? You have told me you have become an Elder, right? How did you achive something like that in such a short amount of time?" after reaching the end of her story and taking a sip from her tea, Liza looked at Khal with curious eyes, eager to know his story.
However, strangely, instead of answering Khal placed the cup in his hand down on the table, and with a rather serious look on his face, he said calmly, "Liza... There is something I should tell you."
