Chapter 90: 090 | An Invitation to Become BloodNight
Reyansh appeared at a little bit of distance from Vijay. He chose a silent corner and checked for any surveillance. He turned to Lyrielle floating at his eye level.
"How are you keeping up with me even after I used Astral Step? Last time I didn’t noticed because the distance was short, but not this time?" He asked.
"Well, because I am bound to you. So it doesn’t matter where I am, I can always return to you with a single thought," she answered.
"Wow, that’s genuinely absurd and what else can you do?" Reyansh brows raised at this revelation.
"Absolute Defense, but only for ourselves and in return we can’t actively attack others."
"You already know about Mental Immunity, that pretty much covers most of my abilities, you won’t have to worry about me in a fight," she explained but Reyansh could notice a veil of sadness in her eyes.
"Your race must have gone through something catastrophic to have these kind of evolutions," he remarked, restraining himself from prying.
Lyrielle didn’t responded but Reyansh understood the meaning behind silence of someone who was always ready with answers to anything.
"Well, will you turn around, please," Reyansh requested.
"What for?" Lyrielle looked at him.
"I am going to change, StarWalker is on leave until tomorrow or absolutely necessary. I will be going to next place as Reyansh." He explained.
"Ohh...hurry up then," she turned immediately.
Reyansh took out new clothes, a dark blue pant along with olive green shirt, and wore it immediately. He removed the mask and put it in his inventory.
He then took out his phone and messaged Amit to bring the car around the next corner.
"Let’s go," he said, Lyrielle looked at him flying a bit away then sat on his shoulder, her legs dangling in front, this had become her favorite pose to sit.
"So, are you going to tell me about killing the guildmaster thing?" Lyrielle asked.
"Not yet, I have to talk to Ramon about Morph Beasts, then go to the Celestia Housing to look for a new house for my mother and Vanya." Reyansh answered as he walked towards the corner he messaged Amit.
"Then I have to meet Arpita for a talk which I have a feeling is something big or maybe not."
"After this, I am thinking of going to Amit’s home to recruit his wife to look after the new house and to help sell all the corpses I have collected from dungeon run."
"So, you see, my noon, evening and maybe night is full. I will tell you about it in detail later." He finished explaining.
"Okay, message Ramon then, from what I remember, the Morph Beasts are pretty costly." She stated, "though, looking at your bank balance, you may be okay."
Reyansh nodded and opened the system panel and send a message to Ramon.
’Who would have thought that someone who was waiting for me to turn into blood bag will be helping me get a mount.’ He thought as he sent the message.
[StarWalker: Hello, Mr. Ramon, are you available for talk?]
A few steps later, he reached the corner to see Amit waiting there with the car. Reyansh sat in the back as Amit opened the gate after watching Reyansh approach.
"Do you know the address of Celestia Housing Main Office?" Reyansh asked.
"Are talking about the ones making the houses with mana technology included?" Amit stated and answered himself, "Of course, what kind of cab driver will I be if I don’t know famous places, especially after The Merge."
Reyansh nodded at the response with slight smile as the car glided towards its destination amidst the traffic of Mumbai.
Lyrielle also didn’t say anything and remained seated on Reyansh’s shoulder. Only a few minutes passed when Reyansh’s system panel popped up with notification of reply from Ramon_Night.
He opened the panel.
[Ramon_Night: Yes, I am. Do you really want to get a Morph Beast?]
[StarWalker: Yes, if it is something that can adapt to environments, I really think it will be a great addition to my strength.]
[Ramon_Night: Since, you have decided, I want to tell you big drawbacks of acquiring a Morph Beast.]
[Ramon_Night: They are notoriously difficult to find and even harder to catch, so their prices depend on the rank of the Morph Beast.]
[Ramon_Night: Their rank start from Exalted-rank and go upto Legendary-rank. Wait a minute, you are residing in low rank dimension, do you know ranks above Epic?]
[StarWalker: Yeah, I know, you can proceed.]
[Ramon_Night: Okay, it’s weird that you know but everything about you is weird I guess.]
Reyansh only smirked in response.
[Ramon_Night: So, after Legendary rank, there are rumors about Ancient-rank but those Morph Beasts tends to kill themselves instead of being tamed.]
[StarWalker: So, what’s the cost of Legendary rank Morph Beast?]
[Ramon_Night: You are going straight for the best, huh? Around 5-7 million Cosmic Coins.]
Reyansh eyes widened slightly at the number, ’Damn! They really are costly.’
He checked his balance, it showed.

’Told you that it won’t affect you much.’ Lyrielle spoke.
[StarWalker: It’s okay, money is not an issue. Is there anything else?]
[Ramon_Night: Okay...next, the taming part depends on you. You would have to defeat it in battle, one on one before it allows itself to be tamed yet.]
[Ramon_Night: Higher the rank, more dangerous and intelligent they are. Due to these two reasons, there are few capable of taming a Morph Beast as their contract beast.]
Reyansh thought for a second but his mind was already made up.
[StarWalker: So, can you get me a Legendary-rank Morph Beast?]
[Ramon_Night: Well, your choice. I will check if they are available at the moment, if not, I will give the order to find one. Wait for a minute.]
[StarWalker: Okay.]
’Well, what do you think, Lyri?’ Reyansh asked.
’Yes, the information he gave match with what I know,’ she nodded.
’But the price I lower than my expectations, ask why?’ she suggested.
[StarWalker: By the way, I thought you said they were costly. I mean they are but I don’t think this much amount would be a problem for someone living in High or Apex dimensions.]
[Ramon_Night: First of all, everyone is not richer in higher dimensions and second, you are right about cost.]
[Ramon_Night: Earlier, the price of Legendary-rank Morph Beast used to around 10 million but recently there has been slight increase in supply of Morph Beast though they had become increasingly difficult to tame, leading to low prices.]
[StarWalker: Lucky me.]
’Hmm...interesting,’ Lyrielle thought.
[Ramon_Night: You really are lucky, there is a Legendary-rank Morph Beast, you can have it within 2-3 days.]
