Chapter 88: 088 | A Disciple, huh?

Sanya felt relieved that he was at least ready to hear her out. Now, her only worry was not to mess this up further.

"So, should we go to a café? We can talk easily, I know a good café nearby..." before Sanya could complete, Reyansh interrupted.

"I appreciate the offer, really. But I have too much on my plate today. We can talk here and I promise I will listen attentively." Reyansh stated.

He took out the Sonus Block and activated it and placed it on the ground, telekinetically.

"That is telekinesis, right?" Sanya asked, curiosity visible in her eyes.

Reyansh nodded in response and produced two chairs, he just brought from Cosmic Trade Network for few Cosmic Coins.

"Wow, that’s amazing, thank you," Sanya spoke, she appeared more relaxed instead of when she was trying to sell her performance as a Fan.

Reyansh sat on the chair, signaling her to sit. Sanya accepted while her two bodyguards stood behind her.

"Let me apologize again for my behavior earlier and introduce you to the three spirits here," she spoke first after sitting.

"The wind spirit is my first spirit, her name is Vayavi. The second is water spirit, his name is Pashu and lastly, the fire spirit, her name is Agneya."

The fire spirit moved closer to Reyansh, floating near his shoulder.

"Agneya is most fascinated by you, I don’t know the reason exactly but I think she likes your fire abilities." Sanya continued.

"And behind me are my protectors, assigned to me by my mother. The one on the left is Devi and the one on the right is Rekha."

Both of them nodded their head towards Reyansh as a gesture of respect, he reciprocated the respect by nodding his head too.

"Now that introductions are out of the way, what did you want to talk about, Miss Sanya?" Reyansh asked, folding his hands and crossing one leg over another.

"I wasn’t lying when I said I was fascinated by your strength. I want to learn from you and increase my strength, more so after watching you fight today." She spoke.

Reyansh remained silent for moment, noticing her body language. Since he can’t exactly check what she is thinking, he had to rely on old methods.

He perceived no change in her body language, she was genuinely looking forward to his answer and that’s what baffled him the most.

"Here’s what I don’t get Miss Sanya, your mother is one of the most powerful person in India and even acknowledged internationally for her strength."

"You have a whole top-tier guild backing you, yet you wish to learn from me. I am still a nobody in terms of strength or popularity. So, you can understand why I am having hard time believing you?" he pointed out.

After hearing Reyansh’s reply, there was silence for few seconds, Sanya stopped fidgeting her fingers and rested both hands on her knees.

"I see, I get the reason behind your doubt but please try to see it from my perspective for a moment, Sir StarWalker." She addressed.

"My mother is as you said a powerful figure but that is exactly the reason I can’t learn from her. She is already buried under guild’s work, her own channel schedule and her responsibility as guildmaster of a top-tier guild."

"So, whatever time I spend with her are more as mother-daughter rather than mentor-student. And if I learn under some other mentor, they all see it as opportunity to get close to my mother." She explained.

"Hmm...okay, I understand your situation but my question still stands, why me?" Reyansh questioned back.

Lyrielle and three spirits were listening to the conversation intently, especially Lyrielle. She wanted to observe Reyansh’s reaction to this proposal.

Sanya smiled slightly before replying, "I think either you are selling yourself short or just want me to hear you say it."

"But anyway, your channel reached Spark rank without any guild backing you up. That answers your question about popularity, even if you killed a guildmaster live stream, that act in itself was show of your strength."

’You did what, boss?’ Lyrielle eyes widened.

’Let’s add this to the list of things to talk later,’ he responded.

’I don’t know the societal rules here completely, but was that really okay?’ she asked further, already thinking about the effect of that on the channel.

’Later.’

"And your question about strength is almost a joke, a hunter with C-rank Mana Core, infiltrated a guild headquarter and killed a S-rank Guildmaster is more than enough answer to the question about your own strength." She added.

Sanya heart hammered against her ribcage as she finished answering and waited for his reply. She really wanted to follow and learn from someone who had strength and guts like him, her dream may depend on it.

Reyansh also noticed the small changes in her body language, her breathing sped up a little and a bead of sweat formed on her forehead.

"Okay, one more question, why? I mean why do you want strength and before everything else, I want you to know that everything I learned is from the Hunter’s Curriculum. I don’t have any hidden master or some secret manual." He stated.

"Haha...that’s your modesty if not arrogance that you learned everything from Hunter’s Curriculum."

"I too was topper of the class in my school and believe me when I say, there were no Chapters about how to become what you are, Sir StarWalker," she laughed slightly.

"As for your question, it is something that I haven’t shared even with my mother. So, if I am to share that with you, at least tell me what do you think about taking me as your disciple?" she asked.

Reyansh’s brows raised, "A disciple, huh?"

"Since you have been honest with me, I will return the courtesy. I sincerely don’t know, first of all, I don’t think I would have the time to teach you something." He shifted in his chair slightly.

"If it’s about following, you can already see the videos on my channel but I guess that’s not why you are here. I have never thought about being a figure that someone follows."

"My own journey is just starting, so I can’t give you assurance that I will be able deliver what you expect of me. And what if what I envision for myself is against your goal? hence I asked the reason," he finished answering.

’You are kind of thinking about allowing her to follow you, aren’t you?’ Lyrielle asked.

’Maybe, really depends on what she answers, if she answer. If it is something that can help me or help my family in some way, I would think about agreeing.’ Reyansh shared his thoughts.

After a bit of thought, Sanya looked back to her bodyguards, they understood the meaning behind her look, Rekha in the right answer.

"If it is something that doesn’t harm the guild in any way. We won’t share whatever you say with your mother until you want," she assured.

"Thanks, Rekha," she responded and turned back, facing Reyansh as he silently waited.

"Since, you are undecided, I will share my goal with you in hope that you reconsider. My dream is make our guild the strongest guild in this world then the dimension itself." She shared.

Hearing her response, Reyansh smiled behind the mask, ’She is almost like me. A disciple, huh?’
