Chapter 335: Learning the Truth
Dean’s mind was foggy and sluggish. For what felt like forever, Dean felt nothing but empty as he drifted within a dreamless land. The taxing effort of the girls yanking out the ring from him left him feeling broken and weak.
After floating along forever within that darkness, Dean noticed a light in the distance. While it was soft and faint, it stood out like the sun within his dark world. Even though Dean didn’t know how, he knew he had to move towards it. As such, with just the intent, his body started drifting towards the unknown yet warm glow.
But even that seems to take eons.
Just when Dean thought that he would never get there, he arrived, only to find that the glow was coming from a strange ring that rotated in the sky of this dark land. Putting his feet towards what he felt was downward, Dean seemed to touch the hard ground as his eyes adjusted and things came into focus.
What he was standing on was a ruined island with debris scattered all over the place. Even the ground was blasted within a certain round shape as the center of the island. Bending down, Dean touched a piece of the rubble and noticed that it had a very distinct shape, one that seemed like a piece to something much greater.
It was very warm to the touch, despite the lack of warmth in the air.
Standing back up straight, Dean noticed thousands of these pieces all over this nameless island and couldn’t help but wonder at what used to be here. After looking around and finding nothing else, Dean directed his attention to the sky where the ring was still rotating while giving off the faint glow that had led him here. Very vaguely, Dean could make out another shape within the sky, one that didn’t resemble any shape he was familiar with. Dean tried walking closer, almost to the point were he was right under it. Sadly, it was too high in the sky for Dean to even touch it to gain the real sense of it’s worth. But being close, Dean was able to make out several things that just didn’t make sense.
Not that anything happening right now did make sense.
The object didn’t lack a normal shape. Instead, it was something normal surrounded by heavy chains and solid locks. This thing was wrapped up so tight that there was no way to even see inside of the chains and figuring out what had been locked up.
Dean could only shake his head as he was about to see if there was anything else around him.
Just as he was going to look away though, something strange happened.
Within those chains, Dean saw what he thought was a faint golden glimmer, so faint that it didn’t cast any light at all. Dean then looked over at the ring and saw that, for the briefest moment, it seemed like it had flashed slightly, the light growing brighter, but then dimmer. Turning his attention to the ring, Dean then noticed that the same phenomenon repeated itself. Turning his attention back to the chained entity, Dean finally caught another glimpse of that faint, golden glow. It seemed like it was only visible when the ring grew brighter.
Even though he observed this, that didn’t exactly answer any of his questions.
Dean looked around some more, walked the entire edge of this island before returning to the exact center of it and sitting down. He felt like he was trapped and had no idea what to do.
Closing his eyes, Dean decided he would try calming himself first before thinking about what he would do next. Once he had done this, he faintly felt like he heard voices, ones that were known and trusted. His body finally relaxed as he listened, feeling like he wanted to hear them closer.
As such, Dean never noticed when the island faded away as his body quicker moved back into the endless void and followed the sounds of fond memories.
Before he knew it, the blackness faded and he opened his eyes at last.
What greeted him when he opened his eyes was four beautiful naked identical women and one additional one who was fully dressed in skin tight, black clothing.
"Huh.. strange... did I fall asleep during some sort of kink game?" Dean said out loud while still groggy. Realizing all five girls were looking at him, Dean suddenly got more of the picture in his head.
"No clothes... and I’m the only one in bed... uh..." Dean reached a hand up and slapped himself, causing the girls to be surprised.
"Strange... Normally I wake up at this point in my dream. So then... not a dream... fuck... Hey look. I have no idea what happened and I’m really sorry. I probably drank too much or something so if I did anything I wasn’t suppose to, just let me apologize first off..." Dean quickly became aware of the fact that he wasn’t dreaming and had honestly forgotten how he had ended up here, everything that had happened with the girls and them causing him to pass out. As such, he felt like the first order of business was to apologize.
The girls couldn’t help but smile at this then pounce on him.
"Apologize? For what you did to all four of us?" Famine said, crawling at him along the bed.
"To think that you drove all of us to the breaking point and now you just want to say sorry?" War had her normal smile on her face as she too crawled to him.
"I’ve haven’t been fucked that hard in my entire life, you animal," Pestilence chimed in and crawled.
"To think that you felt like you could solve this with your mouth after it was your dick that caused the problem. Now, we have no choice but to enact our revenge upon you," Death finished as she too crawled towards Dean across the bed.
Lyssa had no idea what was happening while Dean just wore a look like he had really gone and fucked up.
As the girls reached him in order, they reached their hands out, brought their arms around his neck and proceeded to kiss him, one by one until they each had a turn. Once done, they stood back up and went around, getting themselves dressed while Lyssa’s mouth dropped straight to the floor.
As for Dean, he was stone faced and couldn’t even move.
’The hell?’
After a few minutes, the girls had all found clothing for themselves that reflected their nature. They no longer dressed exactly the same. Death usually wore different shades of black and white while War enjoyed fire red and leather. Famine enjoyed skin tight, body suits underneath a skirt and top while Pestilence seemed to dress the most conservatively, calf length skirt and modest blouse.
Dean had no idea how significant this difference was compared to when he had met them over a year ago, but even this was part of how he changed their lives.
"Uh.. I don’t..."
"I know. You have a lot of questions. Seems like your friend here does as well. We noticed a trace of your power within her, as though you helped her awaken which was why we thought that you were hiding something. But it seems like we were wrong. You really have lost everything about who you used to be," Death said with a solemn tone.
"And were weren’t even there to help you," Famine added.
"All we can say is," Pestilence started,
"Sorry Master...." The four girls bowed together, once again surprising Dean and Lyssa.
"I don’t have any idea..."
"We know. We also know that you’ve grown weak. Much weaker than even you should be. The injuries you received seemed like it drained much of the strength even from your body. The loss of your core was bad enough, but the damage to your body is worse. The energy in you should have been enough for you to still have an amazing amount of strength compared to a normal human. But that energy has wasted away just trying to keep your body working. It’s a miracle you have lived for this long," War injected before Dean could continue on.
"I don’t even..."
"We know... so let me tell you this first. Your real name is Lazarus Crowe and this is your story..." Death went on to tell Dean, who now knew his name was Laz, just what had happened to him. Obviously Death wasn’t aware of everything, but their connection to Kennedy allowed them to be informed about a lot more concerning Laz’s past. These were things they would have wanted to know anyway but obviously there were many things that Death left out, simply because she didn’t know.
At the end of the story, while Death, War, Famine and Pestilence were fine, having known these things before this, Laz and Lyssa sat on the bed without moving for a long while. For Laz, it was like hearing a narration of a tale that he knew nothing about, but was the main character. For Lyssa who had only just recently awoken, this was simply amazing. Laz was like some kind of super hero, all be it a very horny one.
"You slept with all four of them at once?" Lyssa asked, looking at Laz.
"Well... that’s what she said...?" Laz didn’t know how to respond to the younger woman. Seeing her react like this, the other four women could only laugh.
"So that pouch is some sort of storage container?" Laz questioned, thinking back on that one part of the story since he had kept the pouch with him considering it was the only thing he had on him after waking up besides the id.
"And the ID that I had was a fake?" Laz continued.
"Well. People like us aren’t really welcomed in the world right now. Not just here in the states either. And you... well... you’ve been a focus of the government more than one time. Probably the only reason you haven’t been found and arrested yet is because you look drastically different than you did before. However now that the video of you is trending on the socials, we have no doubt that someone is going to find you soon. That’s why we needed to come here and find your first." Pestilence said, pulling out a phone to show Laz the video. He knew about it of course, but seeing how big it had grown and considering what he had been told about how much he had fucked over law enforcement, he now understood that he was pretty much on borrowed time.
"So what do we do now?" Laz asked, unsure of how to continue.
"Well, this isn’t something that we know much about. Instead, we are going to call that big breasted blonde and see what she has...." Before War could even finish her statement though, something akin to an earth quake rocked the place in question. The walls and floor shook violently as the standing Lyssa fell back on to the bed next to Laz. While the shaking was intense though, the other four barely moved, their bodies almost unaffected by the shaking that could have been around a 7.5 level earthquake.
Instead, they all shared frowns as they felt a wave of malevolent energy wash over them.
Instead, their gazes turned to face the same direction as their eyes seemed to penetrate the walls.
"Attention. All guests. We have activated the emergency alert system to inform you of an oncoming attack wave. The creatures have surrounded the premises and as of this moment, we ask that all of you make your way to the emergency shelters located in the sub-basement of every building. The sub-basements are interconnected and security groups will be dispatched to every one while we await help from the military. Once in the shelters, we ask that you follow the instructions of the employees who will be getting instruction from our security teams. Failure to do so will not allow us to guarantee your safety."
Each room was equipped with voice activated features that were present in smart houses, so the fact that each one could be activated by the club didn’t strike any of the guests as weird. Instead, most of them felt like this was overkill considering that most waves were cleaned up within the hour and very few deaths resulted from such. Most times it was people who decided to get up close and personal that lead to their demise. Considering the size of the club grounds and the security measures built in, they doubted the creatures could even breach a building, much less cause massive damage to the grounds. The shelters were just a standard security measure that most of the guests decided to ignore, despite the warnings.
None of them, except for the four women looking outside, knew the extent of the attack.
And knowing what was happening outside was enough to make their skin crawl.
