Chapter 334: At It Again

Dean had no idea what was going on. As far as he was concerned, his body was just one step away from falling apart when he heard the girls scream.

He didn’t know who he even was, but it seemed apparent that they knew him.

Seeing the ring revolve around him, they removed their hands and it quickly faded. There was no way to have reproduced that without having subdued them.

And there was only one man to have ever done that. More than that, the same man was the one who healed them and made them whole again.

Of course, none of them actually knew what the ring did, just that it was a reflection of their power within him.

Once the ring had completely vanished, Dean collapsed on the floor, his body exhausted and just this side of broken. The girls having briefly forgotten that this wasn’t the powerful person they had left just over a year ago, quickly rushed to his aid, lifting him from the ground and gently carrying him to one of the beds.

His almost naked body was covered in sweat and after a quick discussion, the girls lifted him to the bath room to bath his body while slowing moving some of their own energy into him to help his body recover.

This was when they finally noticed just what was going on inside of him.

Famine was the first to notice it and quickly alerted her sisters. After they took turns checking on the defenseless Dean’s body, they couldn’t help but stare at each other helplessly.

Even if they knew what was broken, none of them knew how to fix it.

They quickly let go of the idea of calling Kennedy and reporting what they had found, knowing that the current her was much colder than even them. She had been dealing with a lot over the years and they didn’t know how hearing about Dean/Laz would leave her feeling.

For now though, they simply left him naked and clean and brought him into one of the big beds before laying down around him both to hold him close so that they could feel him and also to protect him while he was at his weakest.

Because of how close they were to the event, none of the sisters understood just what kind of effect awakening the ring was having.

...

The small yet powerful creature, standing on it’s hind legs looked out across the lake, it’s eyes showing a weariness that was strangely human. That surge of power it felt had scared it. Over the past few days, more and more demon beasts had begun showing up to answer his call. Whether they were there to express loyalty or to just get a free human meal, that didn’t matter to the creature. As long as his forces grew enough, he would start a massacre that would sate everyone’s blood lust.

After staring across the lake a little longer, the small demon beast turned away from the lake and walked back into the tree line. He knew he needed a better understanding of his forces while also needing to lay down the rules and set up some groups. This would allow them a much higher chance of succeeding and slaughter.

He had thought that the animals on two legs were weak but now he was smart enough to rethink that opinion.

...

Lyssa was laying in bed with a lot of things on her mind. Her life had changed so much since she came here and the cause of it was all one person. While she didn’t think that he would be on her mind so much, it was impossible to not think about him.

As such, she never noticed when she fell asleep.

She also didn’t notice when she had woken up, bolting upright in bed as her glazed over eyes stared off somewhere in the distance, beyond the walls of her room.

She quickly rose from the bed and dressed. Despite the darkness of the unlit room, she had no trouble finding clothes and changing before quickly heading out the door and into the dark night.

Silently, she made her way towards the source of her feeling, her conscious mind still asleep.

When she arrived at the door to the room, she paused for a second as her vision penetrated the thick, steel framed door. She then started singing, almost too soft for a normal human to hear. As her voice traveled into the room, she then applied pressure to the door knob and entered the room, breaking the locking mechanism in the process.

As she walked inside the dark room, she quickly turned and made her way to the bedroom, almost as though she knew right where to go. The door to the bed room wasn’t locked as she made her way inside, singing the entire time.

Her still hazy eyes looked at Dean who was still pale and weak despite the healing done to him and frowned slightly as her eyes took in the four girls who had surrounded him in the bed. Her sound got more intense, building in not only volume but intensity. Approaching the bed, she reach her hand out towards the closest girl as her nails grew long, going straight for her neck.

Without hesitation, she struck, her razor sharp nails going for the soft flesh.

But the hand was stopped by a vice like grip as War opened her eyes and smile.

"Interesting," she said out loud as she started getting up, followed by her sisters.

They had noticed from the moment she had shown bloodlust towards them.

And they couldn’t all help being surprised by the fact that she had gotten this close without them noticing. Had she not projected her need to kill, none of them would have awoken.

This was the effect of the song she was singing, even though she didn’t know she was singing it.

The girls surrounded Lyssa, but she didn’t back down. Instead, her finger nails grew even longer, forming what looked like five daggers per hand. As her blank face fell on the four surrounding her, she didn’t move, but neither did they.

"I don’t know..." Pestilence started.

"... what’s going on." Famine finished.

War was still ginning, but Death had a look on her face of contemplation. She looked over at this somewhat weak and yet dangerous girl and then briefly back to Dean before looking back again. As a test, she moved closer to Dean, like she was about to touch him. As she did that, Lyssa’s vacant gaze turned to her as her body tensed, looking like she would lunge for Death in a moment. The moment Death backed off from Dean, Lyssa’s body relaxed.

"Did I just see that?" Famine asked.

"Yes. I think she is here because she felt what happened to him earlier and she came running," War said, her face relaxing but still smiling.

"She’s not with it. She’s not even defending herself," Pestilence noted as she poked the now still Lyssa who didn’t even respond.

"Well, I guess we should wake her up... GENTLY..." Death called out, but it was too late. Hearing the ’oldest’ say this was all War needed before she strove forward and started shaking Lyssa. The intense movement was enough to rouse her from her slumber where the first sight she came to was of a beautiful, black haired, firm bodied and completely naked woman shaking her.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Lyssa yelled before jumping back, only to bump into the naked Famine standing behind her.

"Hello little sister!" Famine said, smiling what was both a smile and not a smile at the same time.

Lyssa, seeing the exact same naked person standing behind her then jumped again, this time crashing into Pestilence. She didn’t react this time by jumping again and instead decided on taking a deep breath before looking around.

Obviously her gaze landed on the four naked and identical sisters who were all smiling at her in a half amused kind of way.

"I’m really sorry to interrupt as I have no idea how I got here or why I am here. So if you will excuse me, I’ll be going now." Although this situation was odd, Lyssa felt assured that none of these women had any ill intentions for her. And seeing as how she wasn’t even in her own room, she quickly came to a few conclusions in her head and as hard as it was to accept, she knew that she was the cause of whatever had happened.

"No problem. Go ahead. We were just startled awake by an intruder but it seemed like you had somehow slept walked your way here. We will just climb back in bed with our man and you can show yourself the way out," Death said with a wicked smile and quickly turned her back on Lyssa before getting back into the bed with Dean, not concerned with Lyssa at all. The other sister’s looked at each other really quick before they followed suit.

"I’m really sorry again. I’ll come by to properly apologize in the morning. Thank you for being so understand.... wait..." It was only at this moment that Lyssa noticed the still sleeping form of Dean who hadn’t stirred at all despite the noise. His body was still in a deep state of sleep due to exhaustion.

"Just leave. You barged in on us..." Death said without bothering to look over.

"And just what is this man doing in bed with all of you?" Lyssa had never seen these women before and although she didn’t really have a close relationship with Dean, something like this just seemed too out of the ordinary for her taste.

"I think that should be obvious. I mean, haven’t you had a taste of him? The way he can make a woman submit to him... mmm... it’s making me wet just thinking about it," Famine said with a grin after noticing that Lyssa wasn’t leaving.

Lyssa couldn’t help but turn red while slightly frowning at that remark.

"Oh? What’s this? You haven’t yet? Well, consider me shocked. After all, this guy never could control himself..." Pestilence said, making the other girls laugh.

Lyssa’s anger only got worse, almost completely burning off her traces of embarrassment.

"You damn sluts..." Something inside of Lyssa snapped and she felt like she wanted nothing more than to rip these four sisters to shreds, just as she was about to lunge forward though, she couldn’t help but stop dead in her tracks.

The sisters had once again stood up from the bed, but this time the looks on their faces were cold while their gazes were deadly. From inside of their bodies, their palaces flew out and caused a very unique pressure to descend on to Lyssa, almost causing her legs to give out from underneath her.

With her initial awakening combined with the help Dean gave her in his sleep and the power stored in her blood, she was already at the first level of the Foundation realm. Not only that, but the foundation within her was already taking shape, just waiting for the energy to build itself. It was like her body already knew what it was doing and when to do it, even if she wasn’t aware of it herself. She had gained a lot of insight over the last few days, but when she felt the power from the sister’s void palace realm, she knew she wasn’t a match for a single one of them, much less all four.

Despite this, her knees didn’t bend as she stood tall against the pressure.

This wordless exchange went on for a few moments before Death took a deep breath and relaxed, her palace disappearing into nothingness. Seeing the eldest do this, the other sister’s did the same while trying to steady themselves.

Lyssa had, unknowingly, touch upon their greatest taboo, calling them ’sluts.’

But they also knew they were at fault for playing around with this young girl so much. They could tell that she was at least more than a few year’s their junior.

Either way, they were all surprised that Lyssa hadn’t been crushed under the weight of their pressure. This helped them to look at the young woman in a more favorable light.

"Alright, relax. We don’t mean him any harm. We are his from over a year ago, from before he lost his memory," Death informed Lyssa.

"So you all know him?" She asked, wondering if it was a stupid question considering they all seemed bent on protecting him.

"We do. We are his and we owe him our lives," Pestilence said with a gentle voice and she looked at his sleeping face.

"They why did you kidnap him?" Lyssa asked, thinking that was what happened.

"We didn’t. In fact we were trying to figure out how to help him out..." Death said with a soft look.

Watching this along with the expressions of the other three left Lyssa finally able to relax.

Of course the moment she did that, Dean seemed to open his eyes.
