Chapter 2461: Chapter 2469: Why Not Go On
Nina has been quite a busy person recently. When Jane Sampson arrived at her office, she had already come back from visiting a client at their home.
Due to Sister Grace’s previous case, Nina has now become somewhat of a well-known lawyer on the internet.
Aside from running around managing her cases every day, whenever someone asks her questions about the law on Twitter, Nina takes every netizen’s query seriously when she sees it.
She simply holds the mindset that if she can help, that would be ideal.
That’s precisely why Nina has a good reputation among netizens; when netizens think of a conscientious lawyer, they immediately think of Nina.
"You’ve arrived~" Seeing Jane Sampson come in, Nina didn’t even change her sitting posture, just lifted her eyelid to glance at Jane, and Jane found herself a place to sit while Nina lowered her head to use her mobile phone.
Jane Sampson moved her chair next to Nina, just about to speak, when she saw Nina’s mobile phone ring first.
Then, Nina swiftly and neatly hung up the call.
"Why didn’t you pick it up?" Jane Sampson asked.
"They’re all show producers calling me, inviting me on shows. I’m not planning to develop in this circle, I just want to do my job properly. So I declined, but they keep calling me, it’s annoying, I’ve already blocked several of them." Nina doesn’t want to fall further into the pit of fame.
She had enough of the notoriety from netizens recently, being recognized wherever she went, which directly affected her normal work and life.
"If it’s a legal show, it’s pretty good. Why not go? Those who watch legal shows are interested in the topic." Jane Sampson asked.
"Legal shows, there are so many big bosses in the industry, why would they need to invite me? It’s just those flashy variety shows calling me every day, annoying." Nina recalled something as she said this.
She exited Twitter, opened WhatsApp, and showed the chat history with Alexander Forest to Jane Sampson.
"Did Alexander need a scolding from me? Did you give him little Jane yesterday? And a whole box? He said he got prizes from liking your Moments, but I checked, and there’s nothing like that there."
"Did he tell you that?" Jane Sampson laughed, curiously leaning her head over to glance at their chat history, immediately astonished.
Wow, the level of Alexander Forest’s shamelessness is truly astonishing.
Even with this, he can flirt with Nina a bit?
Pursuing someone to the level of Alexander Forest’s cheekiness, is there anyone else in the world like that?
Alexander Forest had sent that message to Nina last night.
It’s just that looking at the time, Nina must have been resting, and only saw the message in the morning, and Nina didn’t reply to Alexander Forest.
"Hey look, little Jane sent me prizes, which I got from liking her Moments, and they even came with free shipping. Aren’t I super lucky? [Picture] —Alexander Forest.
This thing, for my life, in the future, I only want to use it with you alone. —Alexander Forest.
James Black gave me an idea, that if it expires, we could save it for when our child grows up and use it as balloons. I think the idea is great, don’t you think? —Alexander Forest.
"Just with these three messages, you didn’t block him?" Jane Sampson returned the phone to Nina.
