Chapter 2460: Chapter 2468: What Are You Laughing At

Jane Sampson curiously walked over, bent at the waist, looking at James Black, only then did she notice that the mobile phone in James Black’s hand was hers.

Asked, "Why are you laughing?"

"Alexander Forest just now phoned you, I answered it, he said thank you for the gift you sent him, he, really liked it." Only then did James Black return Jane Sampson’s mobile phone to its original place, reached out to pinch the face of Jane Sampson who had just applied skincare products; soft and squishy.

It looked as carefree as could be.

Just one small box of yogurt, Jane Sampson was full of energy, puffing her cheeks, sipping noisily all the way, by the time she reached in front of James Black, the box was empty. She stood there, her eyebrows furrowed slightly, shook it before tossing it into the trash can next to her. Then she kicked James Black’s foot, "Next time buy the big box variety."

She had just eaten it, but still complained that James Black bought one too small.

James Black folded his long legs up, reached out to pull Jane Sampson into his arms, "You’ve been getting more and more mischievous lately?"

Jane Sampson lay directly in James Black’s arms, not getting up at all, even though threatened, she lay in his arms with a playful grin, chuckling.

Audaciously gesturing, "Next time get me such big boxes, bigger than my palm~"

"Why don’t I just get you the family pack? Are you eating yogurt as a meal?" James Black found it infinitely amusing, raised his hand to tap Jane Sampson’s head lightly, "What’s going on in there? Always thinking about these things."

"Inside is great wisdom, every day I’m thinking about how to get my husband to buy me lots and lots of delicious food! How to make my husband treat me a little better!" Jane Sampson replied so quickly.

She spoke so smoothly that James Black was stunned for a second.

Great wisdom?

James Black was skeptical about the term.

But on thinking about the place Jane Sampson claimed to use her great wisdom, he couldn’t help but want to laugh.

"Haven’t I treated you well enough?" James Black asked.

"Could be better, just a smidgen." Jane Sampson reached out and made a tiny gesture, both fingers shook slightly, for emphasis.

"Would that bit of better be reflected in buying you the family-sized yogurt?" James Black held Jane Sampson’s hand, his voice amused, "Your wish is easy to fulfill, maybe when you gain a bit more weight, I’ll indulge you."

"How much is a bit? A catty? Or half a catty?" Jane Sampson suddenly sat up, asking seriously, "This really has to be clarified, otherwise you’ll trick me again, surely you can’t mean a bit like ten catties, turning into a chubby person?"

"You’ve never been fat since birth, when others were growing baby fat, you were still slender, with that in mind, do you expect yourself to grow into a chubby person? You’ve dreamt too beautifully." James Black lifted the person in his arms and carried her all the way back to the bedroom.

Then he put the humming, unhappy, pouting Jane Sampson on the bed, and only then did he head into the bath room for a shower.

Early the next morning, after having breakfast, James Black returned to the team base.

Jane Sampson was pulled by James Black for a morning run, worked up a sweat, and after showering again, felt refreshed and energetic, even if given a lullaby to lie back on the bed, she couldn’t sleep.

So, Jane Sampson tidied up quickly and then headed out to meet Nina Rice.
