"What’s more twisted!" Brooke Black tapped the table lightly, "Even the buttons and such embellishments on the clothes were directly sourced by Jillian Carter, complete with supplier contacts and samples. With this, we didn’t need to find anything ourselves, so as soon as the materials arrived, the clothing factory constantly cooperating with that small shop immediately started production. The first piece was quickly scheduled for sample shooting with a model, and it was directly put into the online shop’s pre-sale link."
"Isn’t Jillian Carter just losing out when trying to steal?" Peter Gingery was bewildered, "The small online shop doesn’t have much traffic, and these few designs can’t get popular overnight. So, before the opening of Jillian Carter’s shop, she probably won’t discover the existence of this shop."
"The JSY online shop is almost ready, and product links are gradually going up. Jane Sampson shook her head, saying she had been busy with publicity these few days and being with James Carter every day, so she hadn’t paid special attention to the situation over at Jillian’s side.
"Speaking of the Chip Family, it’s absolute madness." Brooke Black hadn’t even started speaking when she was already laughing, swaying with laughter.
She wanted to continue but kept laughing until her words couldn’t come out.
Father Gingery lightly patted Brooke Black’s back to help her catch her breath, "Laugh enough first, then talk."
Then, everyone in the room, including Old Master Black, watched Brooke Black laugh.
After several minutes, Old Master Black frowned, and Brooke Black finally managed to contain her laughter.
She took a sip of water, finally caught her breath, and started talking about what had her laughing for half a day.
"The two Chip men got scammed, some set-up involving a seventeen-year-old girl claiming they raped her. Terrified, they signed an IOU for five million. With no other choice, they went to Jillian Carter; one waited at the community entrance of Jillian Carter’s house, while the other circled the parking lot of Jillian Carter’s company like a hopeful hunter. Meanwhile, those scammers weren’t afraid, holding Mother Chip hostage to Jillian Carter’s place to demand money."
