Chapter 159
The warm, orange rays of the setting sun, signifying that it was already evening, peeked through the bedroom window, casting long shadows across the floor.
Alex slowly blinked his eyes open, and groaned softly as he shifted his weight against the really, really soft bed. For a few seconds, he just stared at the ceiling, completely dazed.
He noticed that he was still entirely naked under the thick blankets, with his body feeling completely relaxed and energized after the wonderful nap.
Huh...? He furrowed his brows in confusion the moment he looked around the unfamiliar room. Why the hell was he lying on a large, unfamiliar comfy bed? He sat up, rubbing his temples as his mind tried to piece things together.
"Wait a minute... How the heck did I end up here?" He muttered to himself, his voice a bit raspy and deep from sleep.
He clearly remembered the passionate moment with Olivia down in the living room. They had been on the couch, and he had just flipped her into a standard doggy style position, ravishing her from behind until they both hit their peak and smiled like two people who had just eaten to their fill.

Alex listened carefully with his enhanced hearing, but the house remained completely silent.
He scratched his cheeks and muttered under his breath.
"Did she already leave?"
Just as he was wondering where she could have gone at this time of the day, something caught his attention. A neatly folded piece of paper caught his attention. It was resting right on the wooden bedside table next to the small lamp.
Alex reached over and picked up the note to read it. The moment he unfolded it, Olivia’s neat and elegant handwriting greeted him.
Alex, I’m sorry I couldn’t stay until you woke up. I had to return back to the hospital early to look after Zack. Even though he’s probably sleeping peacefully now, I still wanted to be there when he woke up.
If you’re feeling hungry, which I know you will be the moment you wake up, I made you some of my homemade Mac and cheese, with grilled chicken on the side. It’s in the freezer. Just heat it up in the microwave for a few minutes before eating.

Near the bottom of the note... There was a faint pink lipstick mark. Alex stared at it for several long seconds before an unconscious smile slowly spread across his face.

The chibi floated right in front of his nose, crossing her tiny arms over her chest and nodding her head with a knowing look.
"Hmm, hmm. Trying to act all cool and composed now."
Alex naturally ignored her teasing. But the chibi continued smiling before suddenly tilting her head.
"But don’t you think you’re forgetting something really important right now?"
Alex blinked.
"What?"
She pointed both tiny fingers toward him and said.
"Oh, I don’t know... Maybe something that starts with... Uhm.. Desire Energy and level up?"
The moment the words left her mouth, Alex’s eyes instantly lit up. His sleepy expression disappeared completely.
"Oh!" He jumped off the bed so quickly that the blanket slid onto the floor, revealing his toned body in all its glory, but he didn’t pay any attention to that.

Alex frowned.

Alex didn’t waste another second, having realized what was going to happen soon.

He glanced down, remembering he was still naked, and quickly summoned some clothes from his spatial storage space to cover himself. After all, he couldn’t exactly go outside looking all naked. That is unless, he wanted to be sent to a Psychiatric hospital.
Within moments he had changed into a clean black shirt, dark jeans and comfortable black sneakers. After making sure everything was in place, he took one last glance around Olivia’s room.
His gaze briefly lingered on the place where he had kept her letter. To be honest, he didn’t want to leave it, so he decided to carry it, and then he quietly left the bedroom.
After coming out through the back door, the cool evening air hit his face the moment he stepped out into the spacious yard at the back of Olivia’s house. The area was quiet and surrounded by high fences, giving him at least a decent amount of privacy.
