Chapter 176: Chapter 176: I Am The Zenith

The Zenith warriors were completely unharmed.

Their Beyonder auras had passively absorbed and deflected the concentrated plasma blasts as if they were nothing more than a warm summer breeze.

"Heh, Is that all the Federation has to offer?" a Zenith warrior laughed with amusement.

Then, the true slaughter began.

The Beyonders accelerated, breaking the sound barrier in the vacuum of space.

Woosh!

They crashed into the Federation’s disciplined defensive lines like a barrage of unstoppable meteors.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ordinary Mecha Warriors never stood a chance.

Their mechas crumpled like wet paper under the overwhelming physical strength of the Zenith warriors.

A single Beyonder landed heavily on the metallic hull of a Federation dreadnought.

He did not even bother to draw a weapon. He simply plunged his glowing bare hands directly into the reinforced steel decking and violently ripped a massive, gaping hole right through the ship’s outer layer.

"Alert! Alert! Detected massive breach in sector seven!" a Federation pilot screamed as explosive decompression violently sucked hundreds of Mecha Warriors out into the merciless void.

Everywhere General Aizenberg looked, he saw only utter devastation.

His proud army was being dismantled one after another.

The Mecha Warriors tried to swarm the invaders, desperately throwing fifty mechs at a single Zenith warrior.

But it was entirely useless.

A simple, casual swing of a Beyonder’s cosmic energy blade completely vaporized dozens of mechs in a single instant.

In no way this could be defined as a battlefield, this was a cosmic grave.

The 100,000 Federation Beyonders finally deployed from the Titan-Class ships, desperately trying to intercept the enemy vanguard.

But they were immediately swallowed by the overwhelming numbers of the Zenith Beyonders, whose Type 7 rank had been boosted by 500% by the Flag of Distinction.

For every single Federation Beyonder, twenty Zenith warriors descended upon them, tearing them apart with brutal efficiency.

On the command deck of the Aegis, General Aizenberg watched the holographic tactical map turn completely crimson.

Battalion after battalion was vanishing from the vital scanners every single second.

"General, we have lost ten million men in the first 5 minutes."

Thud!

Aizenberg slowly collapsed into his command chair.

The pride of the United Federation was bleeding out into the stars, completely powerless against the true masters of the universe.

"Is everything over for us?"

--

Down below, inside the subterranean bunker of the Department of War, all four hundred councilmen and Chancellor Magnus were watching the live feed of the battle.

And their faces did not look good.

Out of shock, Councilman Vance’s expensive pen clattered to the floor.

"Ten million casualties in three minutes! No way this can be real. Our Mecha Warriors are the elites of the Milky Way aren’t they? So, how are they dying like mere insects?"

"Because you fools ordered an attack on a god," Councilman Sterling said, scoffing.

Sterling looked at the man with supreme authority, adding,

"Chancellor Magnus, I say this is high time we surrender and save those poor soldiers!"

Chancellor Magnus furrowed his brows.

"Do you know what you are suggesting, Sterling? We will lose our freedom and rights to a dictator!"

Fixing his necktie, Sterling shrugged.

"It is not like we had much freedom anyway. We are forgetting that we are already an insignificant taxpayer to Lord Bala. We are so insignificant that he would not bother saving us. But maybe this Neo Godson will do something for us. Maybe we were seeing things very wrongly from the start."

Magnus frowned deeply. "Sterling, you are speaking nonsense again. This world cannot accept Neo Godson as a ruler!"

"And why is that?"

Every single person in the subterranean bunker stiffened all of a sudden. The last voice was terrifyingly authoritative, echoing directly inside their minds like a heavy physical force. None of the mortal men present could produce such pure intimidation simply by speaking.

"Who? Who said that?" Chancellor Magnus barked, though his own voice sounded dry and hoarse.

Everyone looked around the room in absolute confusion, but they saw no one stepping forward.

Riiiip!

Just then, the very fabric of space before them began to tear open. It was not sliced by a high frequency blade, not pierced by a Legendary Weapon, nor broken by a forgotten ancient treasure.

The void was being violently ripped apart by a single, bare hand.

Everyone instinctively swallowed their saliva and took a terrified step back.

Slowly, right under their wide, trembling eyes, a figure draped in black and purple revealed himself from the bleeding rift.

His eyes were like twin abysses, his face looked perfectly carved by primordial dwarves, and his skin seemed to radiate with celestial light. His armor was the absolute embodiment of obsidian darkness.

Buzzz!

As soon as he took his first step onto the bunker floor, an invisible aura strong enough to crush entire mountains with ease erupted outward.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The councilmen who were standing too close were instantly blasted into crimson mist.

The others were immediately forced onto their knees. Their faces pressed so incredibly hard against the marble floor that they began to bleed.

Step!

Neo, with the absolute grace of an Interstellar Emperor, walked forward.

"Aghhhhhh!" the surviving councilmen screamed in pure agony, feeling the sheer atmospheric pressure melting their skin like hot iron.

Those few who were awakened Beyonders fared only a little better, but the absolute humiliation and total domination pressing down on their mortal souls was completely unbearable.

With gritted teeth, they desperately looked up, only to see Neo’s godly figure. Standing 6 feet 7 inch tall, he looked exactly like a dark deity pulled straight from an ancient myth.

Their hearts instantly froze like ice statues. From just a single passing glance, they felt utterly unworthy.

Unworthy to gaze at him. Unworthy to look up. Unworthy to even breathe the same air as him.

The terrifying shadow of a massive White and Black Dragon suddenly flashed behind his back, a silent indicator of his unparalleled dual cosmic nature.

"Who... who are you?" Magnus asked, his voice trembling uncontrollably for the first time in his entire life.

"Me?

The absolute being draped in black and purple flashed a slow, chilling smile.

It was a smile that felt far more mysterious and ancient than the birth of galaxies.

"I am Zenith. I am the Peak!"
