Amidst the conversation, time flew away, and the sun started to rise slowly from the east as morning arrived.

Zephyr and Xinran didn’t waste much time and made their way to the main entrance of the giant’s town.

"It’s more carefully carved than I expected... I entered through the wall, so I didn’t know that there was actually such a beautiful entrance here..."

The main entrance of the town had two gigantic doors that were wide open, and there were many beautiful carvings on the wooden doors with gold and silver.

One carving depicted a team of giant people destroying a human city; another showed giants boiling humans in a massive pot and then eating them.

"No wonder you were killing these giants; they treat humans as food. By the way, why is Layla staying in this town of giants?"

"She didn’t seem to have killed these giants despite her being a human; to me, it seemed like most of the giants here were killed by you..."

Hearing Zephyr’s question, Xinran yawned and stretched her body cutely before saying,

"Mmm... Layla was likely just using them for her strange experiments; she’s fond of capturing all kinds of strange creatures from all corners of the continent before stuffing them in a single cage..."
