Chapter 139: Everything was gone. . .
The shock that formed on Mira’s face was unavoidable.
It was one thing to know the father of her child was aware of this meeting holding yet not telling her about it in the slightest but it was another thing to see Hye Yang present her.
She looked healthy. Not like the woman that she had hoped to see by this time. Hye Yang did not look like someone who suffered from bowel problems and it aggravated Mira so much.
It was like she did not even taste the food one bit. Mira spent so much on the laxative and it genuinely vexed her to know her sister had not eaten it at all.
Who then ate it? Ming Tao? He was not here so it seemed reasonable to assume that he ate it even though she gave him a clear warning not to. Mira’s fists clenched.
If Ming Tao ate something harmful to his health simply because he was trying to protect this wench that was her sister, then Mira could not help but fume with anger.

Mira ignored system, now was not the time to take what system said to heart. After the conversation she and Hye Yang had when the warriors left her alone here, she was hoping for the worst yet now was not the time for Mira to be feisty.
The Ruling Oracle would call for them in a moment and the last thing she wanted was to show them why she was labelled the demon of the forest. Especially since now, she was the mother of the tribe and the wife of the mighty cheetah.
A lot of expectations would be on Mira’s shoulders from them. A lot of past behaviour being in the past was one of them.
Hye Yang laughed heartily. "It is funny, though, I have to admit. You are pregnant yet your own husband was busy staying the night with me instead of being with you. Does that not sound scandalous, sister?" Hye Yang had a pleased expression on her face.
Her grin was evil as her eyes burned into Mira like she was trying to see past her flesh and look deep in her soul to ensure Mira was getting hurt by all the things Hye Yang was spouting out.
Mira felt her fingers fold and dig into her palm. She felt the prickle that came with clenching her fist so tightly but now, she did not care. It was the least she could do to stop herself from lunging at her sister and giving her a slap that would reset her brain faster than the speed of light.
Mira took a deep breath, she tried not to let Hye Yang’s words get to her. That would be her playing right into Hye Yang’s hands and this was the wrong place to do so.
"My husband does not know about my child." Mira worded. She did not know why she said that but part of her needed to hear herself say it to justify her emotions.
"Oh really? Are you sure about that?"
Mira felt her eyes widen for a second. She did not want to assume that Ming Tao knew. If he knew yet did all of these things and stayed away from home all to be with her sister, then she might as well run mad.

Mira parted her lips slightly to take a deep breath. She let her lungs be filled with air before letting out an exhale. She repeated the process, breathing in and out slowly.
It did not help calm her rage but it helped with keeping her mouth shut from spouting nonsense even though her mouth was open for breathing in and out.
"Ah, so you do not know. After my sweet meeting with a very delightable cub, by the way," Hye Yang continued. Her intention was clear, she needed to vex her sister and push her to lose her temper in front of the Ruling Oracle to achieve her plan, a plan she was certain that her sister had no clue about. "The first person I went to tell was your husband. And do you know the best part about telling him? Not once was there a look on his face that showed excitement. In fact, if I remember correctly, he did not seem to care." Hye Yang laughed aloud. Because of the enclosure of this place, her laughter echoed and it pissed Mira off to the bone. "’That woman’s business is not my problem’ he said." Hye Yang bent her body forward then used both her hands to tap her thighs. "These were the legs he came to rest on after he heard the news." She grinned, parts of her teeth were visible now. "And my body was his resting place the entire night, Mira. You lost your husband to me, deal with it. He was never meant to be yours."
Mira was still breathing in and out. For all she knew, her sister could be lying and it would be foolish for her to take the words of someone as cunning as Hye Yang seriously.
"You’re lying!" Mira cooed. She let her rage relay in her voice as breakage and doubt. "My body is what he loves! My thighs are the only thing he craves. And my behind is the only thing he enjoys resting on!" Mira stated. She let her brows narrow and let her lips tremble as she said the words.
This was her way of putting Hye Yang in a trap. If Ming Tao truly slept on her and was all over her as she stated, then Hye Yang would know that that man loved breasts more than anything.
Hye Yang turned around and flaunted her back side to Mira. She shook her behind then twisted her torso slightly to look at her sister. She put a hand on her ass. "Not anymore." Hye Yang uttered.
That woman was a fool. Even now, she could do nothing but lie. Mira tried to suppress the grin that made its way to her lips. Knowing that her husband was not on her sister all night was relieving even though she wished he was not near her at all.
"This is not over, Hye Yang." Mira worded. At this point, she was just playing along with her sister’s foolishness.
"That will be decided when you walk through that entrance." Hye Yang blurted out. There was something about the confidence in her tone that made Mira worry.
Hye Yang lying was not new, but Hye Yang being believed by everyone she lied to was a major part of the problem.
And it was already obvious now that Hye Yang was the one behind the Ruling Oracle being in the cheetah clan.
It was obvious now that there was something that woman must have said to make them believe that they needed to be here in the form of urgency and till now, Mira could not denote what it was that Hye Yang was after.
She needed to find out before she walked into that room so she could at least have something to say to counter her sister’s lies.
"You want to destroy me so badly, Hye Yang. What have I ever done to you? I have always loved you." Mira stated. She lifted her head high enough so her face is visible to Hye Yang. Tears streamed down her face as she stared at her sister, tears that she forced out.
On Earth, Mira knew how to fake cry to her advantage and now was the time to put her Oscar winning crying performance to show.
Hye Yang fell for it. Her grin immediately disappeared into a look of disgust as she stared at her sister.
"If you loved me, then you should not have been born before me." Hye Yang muttered. Her eyes were cold as ice as she said this and her voice was venomous. "You should have stayed in mother’s stomach for at least a year after I was born. You should have just not been here."
Mira swallowed. What Hye Yang said was even dumber said out loud and she did not know if she should point it out to her sister now or not.
"But it was not my fault. I did not put me in mother’s stomach! I never asked for this."
"You should have fought it!" Hye Yang barked.
Mira’s eyes widened. She tried not to laugh. This sounded so freaking dumb but the fox spitting the words out was Hye Yang so she was not surprised. She, as a sperm should have fought not to be born, what magical wonders that sister of her thought.
"I would have if I could, I swear. I care and love you too much to not want to be on your good side, sister. Please do not hate me and take it out on me. I will do anything!" Mira cried. "Anything you want."
Hye Yang was not convinced. "Too late. I have already taken everything."
Mira’s brows furrowed. What did that mean?
