Chapter 184: Success Or Not..??
’Is it dead?’ With this thought in his mind, he moved his finger and poked the slime.
There was no response from the slimy jelly-like substance that was in front of him
’It had died, but why?’ Dhruv thought as he looked at the dead slime.
Because these slimes were the creation of a tier 3 slime, there was no core in them at this tier, so Dhruv couldn’t even know if the slime had died after getting the essence or before anything had happened.
Noting this as a failure as well, he cleared the box and put another slime in it. After checking the essence of the slime, he put a slice of meat in the box and cast the fusion once again.
"True fusion..."
After waiting for a few seconds, he noticed that the slime had died once again, but this time there was something wrong with its corpse as well.
’Well, the command, ’fuse the meat with the DNA of the slimes didn’t work either.’ he thought while inspecting the body of the slime.
Dhruv noticed that the outer layer of the slime had shown some type of mutation after the fusion. On some part of the slime body, there was now a layer of green skin.
Dhruv knew this green skin very well.
’Time to test the other ones.’ With this thought in his mind he picked the second last slime and put it in the box.
Dhruv was about to repeat all the work once again. He had to check the essence point of the slime. After numerous tries, he found out that this slime didn’t have any essence point as well.
After putting the meat with the slime, he began to get ready to cast the fusion once again. After giving the command to the white orb, which was rotating in his hand, he threw the orb toward the gunnie pig.
The orb did what it was supposed to do, and after a few seconds, it fizzled out from reality.
’Let’s see what it had done to you.’ Dhruv thought as he focused on the slime in front of him.
After carefully inspecting the slime, he found out that it was still alive, but he was now very fat. This fatness of the slime was something Dhruv had expected due to the command he had given to the orb.
The command he had given to the orb was to fuse with the stomach acid of the slimes. The orb must have followed the command and fused the slice of meat with the slime’s stomach liquid. Thus, this slime is now very fat.
Dhruv didn’t waste any more time inspecting the slime’s appearance and sent the mana in the glass he was wearing.

The name of the slime was displayed in front of Dhruv. Ignoring this information, he sent his mana in the glasses once again to see the next bits of information.
"..."
’What happened...’ Dhruv thought as he found out that he couldn’t see the slime’s status anymore.
At first, he thought that there was some problem with the glasses, but he quickly dismissed this the moment he noticed the slime.
After poking the monster, he found out that the slime had died between the first inspection and the second one.
’Shit, this one had been perfect. If only I could check its essence, I would at least have known what had happened. Did it get any essence or not?’ Dhruv couldn’t help but feel frustrated that the slime had died before he could check the result.
’Calm down, let’s think with a clear head.’ Taking a deep breath he began to think about what was the problem this time.
’Maybe the command had worked, after all the slime was alive after fusing with the meat for a few seconds.’
’Hmm!!.. Which means that the problem must have been the amount of meat that I’ve fused with it. I could decrease the amount and check it again. I can do that but let’s first see what happens with the last command.’ Dhruv thought.
The reason he had chosen to go with the last command was that he had a great feeling that this one was going to work out.
Instead of putting the slime inside the box, he created a box around the last monster. After doing that Dhruv quickly began to check the essence point of the monster, and after just a single try, he was able to know that the monster didn’t have any essence either.
While putting the slice of the meat in the box, he half-closed his eyes and began to fully calm himself down.
This was the last piece of meat, so if the experiment didn’t succeed, then he had to create something like this again. And he didn’t want to witness that whole process for the second time.
Closing his eyes, he brought his hand forward and whispered two words,
"True fusion..."
A white orb formed in his hand and began to rotate. Closing his eyes, Dhruv quickly sent a seven-word command to the orb. When the command was given, he gently guided the orb towards the slime.
The orb touched the monster and quickly enveloped everything within itself. The white dome remained in that same place for five seconds, doing its work. After five seconds, the dome began to fizzle out.
’One... two... three... four... five... must have been done. There is no sound so this is a good sign. Let’s see if it was a success or not.’ With this thought in his mind, he opened his eyes ever so slightly.
Peeking out from his left eye, he found out that the monster was still the same size; it was even moving in the box.
"Phew! It is alive and seems to be fine as well." A smile appeared on his face as he began to send mana into his glasses.
Maybe it was his lucky round... because on his very first try, the section for the essence point was displayed in front of him.
[Essence poi....]
Before he could clearly see the whole information, a voice disturbed him.
"My lord, the dinner is ready..."
