Chapter 158: Assult of the Dungeon

Listening to Azarex’s words, Dhruv smiled and said, "That’s why I said they need to learn and not just win. While they would be fighting the monsters, we would supervise them to ensure there won’t be any mishaps."

"Hmm! That is a magnificent strategy, my lord," Azarex praised after listening to Dhruv’s plan.

’What’s so magnificent about this simple thing,’ Dhruv thought inwardly as a smile appeared on his face.

Dhruv once again opened his mouth and said, "We don’t have that many days left, So, I want to halt the process of building houses for a while. All the citizens of the island should come into the dungeons and collect as much material as possible,"

Dhruv showed his intention of hoarding all the material in the dungeon before the end of this third quest.

"That could be achieved, my lord," Lyra said with a smile on her face.

Dhruv nodded in response and looked at the leader of the crafters, Navi, and continued, "While we are focusing on the battle, finish the construction of the slime farm as fast as possible as well."

Dhruv had said this so the corpses that would be produced from the battle wouldn’t go to waste. If the slime farm wasn’t built in time, then all the corpses generated during the attack would be absorbed by the dungeons, resulting in a massive loss to them.

Listening to Dhruv’s words, Navi responded with,

"The slime farm is already half built, my lord, and the number of tier Ⅲ slimes has also increased from fifty to one hundred. I think it will be ready in another two days if the number of workers working on it remains the same."

Dhruv was about to respond when he noticed that Navi hadn’t finished, so he closed his mouth and listened...

"And one more thing, My lord," the head of the crafters asked, "If we want to hoard all the items from the dungeons, then wouldn’t we need a few more warehouses?"

Dhruv pondered over this suggestion for a second before replying, "Yes, we would indeed need that. So, how do you suggest we proceed with this problem?"

"Why don’t we let the team of crafters and the second guardian stay on the island, and we can busy ourselves with building the warehouses while the others start the assault in the dungeons and collect material?" the leader of the crafters, Navi, suggested.

"We can do that," Dhruv said as he looked toward Azarex, asking if he had any problem.

"I don’t have any problem, my lord, as long as I can work," Azarex said.

"Okay, then it is decided. While the crafters and the undead remain on the island to craft the remaining warehouses, the rest of us will venture into the dungeons and start the process of conquering them. Is that good?" Dhruv announced.

"Yes, My lord," everyone said in unison.

After talking for a few more minutes about the recent developments on the island and the progress made in magic weapon making, Dhruv concluded today’s meeting.

As the meeting ended, everyone began to move toward their respective groups to inform them of the decisions made and what they had to do.

It took one hour for the members of the island to organize themselves into groups.

The total population of the island was divided into three groups...

The first group would attack the goblins, consisting of about 120 warriors. This group also included those who would keep an eye on these 120 warriors.

The supervisors were Dhruv, Alaric, Thala and his bodyguard’s group.

The second group consisted of people who would clear out the jungle and then transport the materials to the overworld. There were about 200 members in this group, and even the children had volunteered to join.

To ensure their safety from other monsters, the first group would first sweep through the jungle and eliminate all the monsters, so they wouldn’t encounter any problems. Lyra was also part of this group.

Strangely enough, Vexar was also in this group. Dhruv knew that this demon of his couldn’t control himself when witnessing fights in front of him, so he placed him in the sweeper’s group.

The third and final group was the crafter group, and it had the most members if you counted the undead. They were responsible for making the slime farm along with warehouses to store all the materials.

Looking at the three groups that had organized themselves according to their tasks, Dhruv began to contemplate how things were going to unfold.

He looked at the crafter group and suggested that they should start their work as soon as possible.

"First, we are going into the dungeon. After we clear out the area, we will call for you, and then you can come. Do you understand?" Dhruv announced as he looked at the sweepers’ group.

"Yes, my lord," everyone said in unison.

"Good!!"

After saying this, Dhruv looked at the fighter group and signaled them to follow him. In just a minute, he reached the place where the portal was.

At this point, almost all of the prison had been destroyed, and only the most essential part of it was still standing.

Dhruv glanced behind himself for a second before entering the portal. As he regained his senses, he quickly moved out from the portal, as many other people were about to enter.

One by one, all 135 members entered the dungeon.

The area surrounding the portal had already been cleared out for resources. Dhruv signaled the group to follow him, and he began to move toward the north village where he had conducted the experiment.

After walking for a while, the jungle once again began to emerge in his field of vision.

Dhruv looked at the group and signaled them to clear out the monsters as they walked toward the village. They did as they were told and began beginning to eliminate the monsters as they moved north.

The monsters here were at the semi Tier Ⅰ, so there wasn’t any problem with killing them.

Alaric moved from one shadow to another, storing all the corpses in his shadow to later deposit them in the warehouse.

It took them around two hours to clear all the monsters in the path between the portal and the village. Dhruv signaled Alaric to inform the sweepers about this progress.

Alaric bowed and began to move toward the portal. While Alaric was moving toward the portal, Dhruv didn’t wait for him and shouted,

"Listen up, everyone!"
