Chapter 142: Lesser Muscular Goblin
Dhruv looked at the new page in front of him, which consisted of the information about the status window of the goblin after fusing with ten of its kind.
The more Dhruv looked at the status in front of him, the more surprised he became...

-------------
The very first change Dhruv noticed was that somehow the species of the goblin had been changed from "Lesser Goblin" to "Lesser Muscular Goblin."
Dhruv knew that fusion had the capability to change someone’s species.
Even after knowing that, this still came as a surprise to him because all the monsters the goblins were fused with were the same species, so logically it shouldn’t have changed their species.
Not getting very deep into that he looked at the name and thought, This goblin has changed its species at tier Ⅰ, does that mean he would have a unique evolution pathway from other goblins?’
Dhruv had come to this conclusion because he knew that after evolving from a "Lesser Goblin," almost all of them would evolve into "Adult Goblins," with very few of them having the chance to evolve into "Goblin Mages."
’...And now that this goblin already has a unique species, will it also follow the same evolutionary path as the typical goblins, or will it have a unique path of its own?’ Dhruv questions himself.
After thinking for a while, Dhruv couldn’t find any clear answers. He didn’t want to let the goblin live after the experiment, fearing that it might evolve into some kind of abomination and seek revenge on him.
Not knowing how, but Dhruv instantly imagined that scene happening in real life. He shivered a bit, as a thought appeared in his mind.
’Darn it! It’s all because of those novels and movies...’
Controlling his train of thought, Dhruv compared the next section with the past status.
Here he found some changes as well. Although the goblin hadn’t advanced in its tier, it had gained some percentage in its core saturation.
’It must have come from all those goblins’ cores,’ Dhruv concluded, identifying the origin of the increase in core saturation.
’So, even its magic affinity has increased by one rank,’ he thought, remembering that before the fusion, the rank of its affinity was just ’E’ and now it was at ’D’.
’Is this the result of collective fusion, or did someone already have this high affinity in earth magic, and this is the result of them fusing with the body?’ Dhruv thought, once again unable to find the answer to this question.
He made a mental note to write down all the unanswered questions in his notebook.
Furthermore, the change in the stat section was quite obvious even before comparing. A single glance at its body was all that was needed, and Dhruv knew there would be quite some changes here...
Flipping the page to its previous status, he began to compare the past and present.
[Strength Lv. 20 → Lv. 52]
[Stamina Lv. 16 → Lv. 46]
[Agility Lv. 15 → Lv. 55]
[Magic Power Lv. 02 → Lv. 10]
"So, Strength has been increased by 32, Stamina has been increased by 30, Agility has been increased by 40, and Magic power has been increased by 8. That’s good, but why is there no connection or any pattern in increasing the levels?" A frown appeared on his face as he thought about this.
Not finding any connection, Dhruv even tried to reverse engineer to find the formula that had been used to increase the stats, but after a few minutes of attempts, he realized it was beyond his comprehension.
’Sigh!... the only thing I can say is that it has been increased by at least 30, which means at least every goblin has provided at least 4 levels in each fusion,’ Dhruv thought as he sighed.
After being satisfied with the stat increase, Dhruv looked at the next two sections and found that there were no changes that had occurred there.
’So the exclusive attribute hasn’t been added because the other goblins mustn’t have any other. And for the increase of skills, you have to train yourself, and that’s why they both haven’t been increased at all.’
’Seems about right to me...’ A smile took place on Dhruv’s face when he was finally able to explain something.
Looking at the next section, Dhruv found some unique upgrades in the goblin’s mutations.
’...So, he got two new mutations added to his body. The first being the ’Muscular Body,’ this one is as straightforward as it can get. But the second one, the second one is where things get unique," Dhruv mused as he looked at that mutation with a focused gaze.
’Fused Mind... Fused Mind, what could this mean exactly? Does this mean that all the goblins have fused their minds together and are now a collective consciousness? Then why would it only speak ’CHO’ after hitting?’
The smile on his face didn’t last long.
’Did I not hit it enough times... Yes! That could be the reason,’ He thought as he looked at the goblin in front of him.
He lifted his hand and fired a metal spear toward the goblin,
CHO!... The monster shouts.
Dhruv stops to heal the goblin. Few seconds later he fires once again,
CHO!
He continues...
CHO!
CHO!
...
...
Dhruv didn’t stop until his mana had been completely drained out, yet the only sound he heard was that of "CHO!" There wasn’t a single instance where the monster even shuddered or tried to say a different word.
’Shit, why can’t I just open the description of the mutation,’ Dhruv frowned.
He already knew that he couldn’t access the description of others’ mutations unless they were part of his own species. And he certainly couldn’t make this goblin part Asteri.
Sigh!..
Sighing once again, Dhruv put his notebook down and looked at the monster in front of him. In just a single glance, he could tell that the monster in front of him was very angry.
He could feel the aura of hatred oozing out from its eyes as if it were just trying to find a single chance to escape from the hole and rip the bastard in front of him apart.
Finding nothing new on the status anymore, Dhruv put the notebook back in his ring and began to walk toward the pit once again.
This time he was going to experiment with whether the goblin would evolve into tier 2 after maxing out its core or not...
Sigh!
As he turned his back toward the goblin a chill ran down his spine,
’Why am I getting chills all of a sudden...’
