Chapter 35: Conspiracy

Ethan asked nonchalantly, as the matter was a done deal.

The servant guard’s expression was pale as he hesitated, not knowing what to say. He had never felt such a terrifying aura and felt Max wasn’t simple.

However... After following young master Ethan for some time, he had lost the ability to think rationally. So he made up his mind to exaggerate the scenario, as he didn’t believe that a young, unknown kid could face the Silverblade family.

"How dare a servant use the Young Master to settle your personal grudges?"

"Who gave you the courage to manipulate your own master?" The guard Serpent seemed to crush the servant with his aura alone. But he didn’t kill him, as the beast tide is still ongoing, and killing him, even if he were their servant, wouldn’t be good.

"No, Lord Serpent, I am not telling a lie; he really refused and even didn’t give a second glance, even knowing from whose order I came." The servant quickly begged on his knees, as he didn’t expect Lord Serpent to see through his mind.
