Chapter 291: Chapter 291: You’re So Hot, And You’re Mine

"He’s going the right way."

Charles frowned, curiosity flickering across his face as he turned back to Mark. "Then where are we going?"

A soft smile tugged at Mark’s lips. "You’ll find out when we get there," he murmured. "Just relax, baby."

Charles studied him for a long moment, searching his face for a clue, but all he found was calm confidence.

Finally, he gave in with a small smile.

He settled comfortably against Mark once more, resting his head on his shoulder as the car carried them deeper into the night.

Meanwhile, Adrian arrived back at the estate. The moment he stepped through the front door, his thoughts were on one person alone.

Matteo.

He didn’t even bother stopping downstairs. With quick, eager steps, he headed straight for their bedroom.

As he pushed the bedroom door open, Adrian walked deeper into the spacious room. His eyes soon found Matteo, who was sitting quietly on a sofa in one corner.

He hadn’t even changed out of his work clothes. He was still dressed in a fitted black turtleneck beneath a tailored black overcoat, quietly waiting for Adrian’s return. On the coffee table in front of him sat a glass of amber liquor.

The moment Adrian saw him, every trace of frustration from the evening melted away.

"Daddy!"

Without a second thought, he hurried over and climbed straight onto Matteo’s lap, straddling him comfortably.

Wrapping both arms around Matteo’s neck, Adrian pulled him into a deep, desperate kiss.

Matteo responded instantly, his strong hands settling around Adrian’s waist as he held him securely against his chest, returning the kiss with equal longing.

When they finally pulled apart, both of them slightly breathless, Matteo rested his forehead against Adrian’s for a brief moment, his arms still securely around his waist.

Adrian smiled softly, gently brushing a few strands of hair away from Matteo’s forehead.

"How did your meeting go, Daddy?" he asked. "Did everything go well?"

Matteo nodded, a faint smile touching his lips.

"It went well," he replied. "Nothing too stressful."

Satisfied with the answer, Adrian smiled warmly.

Matteo studied his face for a moment before asking,

"What about you, baby? How did your meeting with your friends go? Did you have a good time?"

Instead of staying on Matteo’s lap, Adrian slid down onto the plush rug, settling comfortably between Matteo’s legs with his back resting against him.

Without asking, he reached up, took the glass of amber liquor from Matteo’s hand, and took a small sip.

The burn spread warmly down his throat, making him shiver.

He looked up at Matteo and let out a long sigh.

"Don’t even get me started."

Matteo looked down at him, a faint, knowing smile playing on his lips.

His lead bodyguard had already called and told him everything that had happened at the lounge, but he kept quiet. He wanted to hear the story from Adrian himself, to watch the fire in his eyes and see just how angry his baby still was.

Gently, Matteo threaded his fingers through Adrian’s soft hair.

"Talk to me, baby," he said quietly. "What happened?"

The floodgates opened.

"That bastard Owen," Adrian began, his voice rising with frustration. "Everything was going perfectly until he suddenly showed up. Why? Why the hell did he have to come there? For what?"

Adrian threw his free hand into the air in exasperation.

"He actually tried to drag Charles outside. Charles made it clear he didn’t want to go with him, but he kept trying to force him. God, I hate that man so much!"

Adrian took another sip of the liquor before letting out an irritated huff.

Adrian took another sip of the liquor before letting out an irritated huff. "But I didn’t let him get away with it."

Matteo’s smile widened ever so slightly, pride flickering in his eyes. "I know," he said softly. "I never doubted you."

Adrian couldn’t help smiling at the praise.

Gently, Matteo continued running his fingers through Adrian’s hair. "Now," he murmured. "Tell me everything."

Adrian happily launched into the rest of the story, his hands moving animatedly as he reenacted every moment. He told Matteo how he had stood up to Owen, how he had thrown his drink straight into Owen’s face, how he had threatened to paint twenty different nude portraits of him from memory and turn them into a high-society art exhibition, and how he had warned him never to go anywhere near Charles again.

By the time Adrian finished, Matteo was looking down at him with raised brows, a mixture of amusement and disbelief in his eyes.

"You actually said all that?"

Adrian grinned proudly. "Every single word."

To celebrate his victory, he lifted the glass and took another generous gulp of the amber liquor.

Matteo immediately reached down and gently wrapped his hand around the glass, stopping him before he could drink any more.

"Easy, baby," he said with a soft chuckle. "That’s pure gin."

Adrian pouted. "I’m using it to calm my anger, Teo," Adrian complained, leaning back against Matteo’s legs.

Ignoring Matteo’s warning, he lifted the glass and took another long sip.

"You don’t understand," he muttered. "Owen is unbelievably annoying. I insulted him, and he deserved every single word. Charles is such a good person... he’s just too kind, and Owen keeps taking advantage of him."

The alcohol began taking effect surprisingly quickly.

Adrian’s eyelids grew heavier, and his thoughts became slower. His words started to slur together ever so slightly.

Tilting his head back, he looked up at Matteo with hazy, unfocused eyes. "Teo..." he mumbled softly. "Did... did I talk too much?"

He blinked slowly. "Was I... a bad boy?"

Matteo’s expression softened completely. Gently, he brushed a few strands of hair away from Adrian’s forehead before lifting his chin with two fingers.

Leaning down, he pressed a warm, lingering kiss to Adrian’s lips.

"No, baby," he murmured. "You did very well. You stood up for your friend, and that’s exactly what a good friend should do. I’m proud of you."

Adrian’s face immediately brightened into a sleepy smile, his cheeks warm and flushed from the alcohol.

"Teo..." he mumbled, squinting up at him. "This drink is really strong. I only drank a little... but now I can barely see you."

Matteo let out a quiet, amused chuckle.

"Are you telling me you’re drunk, baby?"

Adrian immediately shook his head.

"No," he protested stubbornly, his words slightly slurred. "I’m not drunk..."

He blinked a few more times, trying to focus. "I just... can’t see you properly."

A lazy smile spread across his face.

"But I know you look handsome in black." He reached up and gently touched Matteo’s cheek. "You’re so hot..." he whispered possessively. "...and you’re mine."

Matteo’s heart melted.

Smiling to himself, he carefully took the glass from Adrian’s hand and placed it on the side table.

"Alright," he said softly. "I think you’ve had enough."

He gently stroked Adrian’s cheek.

"Let’s get you to bed."

Adrian immediately pouted, his lower lip jutting out adorably. "I’m not drunk," he insisted. "It’s too early for me to be drunk."

Matteo couldn’t help but smile. "I know, baby," he humored him gently. "That’s why I said you’ve had enough. Now let’s get you to bed."

Adrian narrowed his eyes slightly, trying to study Matteo’s face.

"You believe me?" he asked. "You believe I’m not drunk, right?"

Matteo nodded without hesitation. "Of course I do."

Seemingly satisfied, Adrian reached up and gently tugged at Matteo’s black overcoat.

"Kiss me."

Matteo smiled warmly before gently lifting Adrian’s chin.

He leaned down and captured Adrian’s lips in a slow, lingering kiss, smiling faintly as the unmistakable taste of gin lingered on Adrian’s tongue.

When they finally pulled apart, Adrian let out a contented sigh.

He lifted both arms toward Matteo like a child asking to be picked up.

"Carry me."

Matteo smiled to himself before rising to his feet. With effortless ease, he slipped one arm beneath Adrian’s knees and the other around his back, lifting him into his arms.

Adrian immediately curled against him, wrapping both arms around Matteo’s neck and burying his face in the crook of his shoulder as Matteo carried him across the spacious bedroom. Reaching the king-sized bed, he carefully bent down and gently laid Adrian on the soft white sheets.

The moment his back hit the mattress, Adrian complained, "It’s hot, Daddy." With clumsy, impatient fingers, he began unbuttoning his shirt, parting the fabric to expose his smooth chest. He looked up at Matteo with heavily hooded, dazed eyes, a sudden spark of desire in them.

"I’m horny."

He reached up, grabbing Matteo by the lapels of his black overcoat and pulling him down to kiss him. Matteo leaned over him, kissing him back slowly, letting his hands slide up Adrian’s bare sides.

But as Matteo pulled back slightly to look down at his beautiful, flushed partner before deepening the kiss, Adrian’s eyes fluttered shut. Within a second, his breathing evened out, and he fell fast asleep, completely knocked out by the alcohol.

Matteo stared at him for a long moment, a soft, incredibly fond smile spreading across his face. He shook his head silently, leaning down to press one last tender kiss to Adrian’s forehead before gently pulling the covers over him.

Meanwhile, the sleek luxury car slowly rolled to a stop, the quiet hum of the engine finally fading away.

Charles opened his eyes and looked out the window.

They had arrived at one of the city’s most exclusive luxury resorts. Nestled away from the crowds was a breathtaking private pool villa, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and softly illuminated by warm golden lights. The secluded villa radiated elegance and romance, offering complete privacy.

Mark stepped out of the car first before walking around to open Charles’s door. He held out his hand, his eyes warm beneath the soft glow of the evening lights.

Charles slipped his hand into his, his heart fluttering with curiosity and anticipation.

Together, they followed the stone pathway leading to the entrance of the private villa.

The moment Mark unlocked the door and gently pushed it open, Charles stepped inside.

His breath caught in his throat...
