Chapter 1146: True Depravita Paragon
For a moment, the True Depravita of Wrath, the White Death, Overlord, and the rest of the Lords turned toward Odinvaldr as they sensed his overwhelming display of power. His presence alone seemed to bend the very fabric of reality, drawing their attention away from the birth of the new layer. Yet only a few seconds later, understanding dawned upon them.
Smiles slowly appeared on their faces, calm and confident, before they returned their focus to the phenomenon unfolding before them. This was not interference—it was refinement.
Odinvaldr stood unmoving, yet the power surging from his body was anything but still. His aura burned like a silent inferno, and his eye shone with a brilliance that seemed to pierce through the deepest layers of existence itself. Then, slowly but undeniably, the Matrix of the Universe around him began to tremble.
The Laws governing the creation of the new layer of Hell were being rewritten.
Streams of divine energy poured from Odinvaldr, flowing into the cosmic framework that connected the storm-filled skies of the Eighth Layer with the burning remains of the Ninth. Reality itself began to shift—not in raw power, but in nature.
What was being born would not be another hellish domain meant for Devils.
No.
This new layer would be something entirely different.
It would be a realm designed for the races of Light—humans, dragons, amazons, dvergars, faerathians, and countless others. A place where they could not only survive, but grow and prosper.
The transformation was subtle at first, but undeniable. The violent and corrupt essence of Hell was gradually being replaced by something more stable, more harmonious—yet still powerful beyond comprehension.
The pulses of divine energy continued for seven days without pause.
And when the process finally ended, everyone could feel it.
The new layer had changed.
The air itself felt purer, lighter, yet filled with an immense and vibrant energy that resonated perfectly with beings of Light. However, despite this transformation, the environment remained incredibly hostile. The land still burned with residual cosmic force, and the skies were filled with raging storms of energy.
Nothing below the Lord Rank could survive in this place.
Legends would feel their flesh burn if they remained for too long. The layer was still in its genesis stage, unstable and raw.
It would take years before it could sustain life safely.
Fortunately, the Six Sun Alliance had no intention of waiting idly.
"I will rest for a few weeks," Odinvaldr said calmly, his voice echoing with quiet authority, "and then I will move to the Seventh Layer to terraform it as well. Once that is complete, we will begin preparations for our journey into the Divine Realm."
Vlad, Overlord, and the White Death listened in silence before giving solemn nods.
The Seventh Layer was immensely powerful, and with the proper modifications and fortifications, it could be transformed into a nearly impenetrable stronghold—one capable of protecting their people from the coming storm.
It would not be perfect. A prolonged siege led by Paragons could eventually break through.
But that would take time.
By then, the newly formed layer would have stabilized enough to allow full migration. And Vlad was certain that whatever emerged from this convergence would become a fortress so powerful that only Empyrean-level entities could hope to breach it.
With no immediate threats remaining, the tension that had gripped their bodies finally began to fade.
For the first time in what felt like an eternity, they allowed themselves to rest—not physically, but mentally. Their souls expanded outward, immersing themselves in the cosmic phenomena before them, absorbing every fragment of insight they could grasp.
Three weeks passed in this state.
Then, suddenly, Odinvaldr’s eyes flared with light as he vanished from the sky of the Eighth Layer.
Less than an hour later, a massive tremor spread across Hell.
The Seventh Layer was changing.
Vlad and the others immediately understood what was happening, and smiles spread across their faces as they felt the transformation ripple through the realm’s foundation.
Overlord’s eyes shone with intensity as he began issuing a series of rapid commands.
The alteration of the Seventh Layer’s Laws provided immense potential—but potential alone was not enough. If they wanted to turn it into a true stronghold, it would require massive effort and coordination.
Fortunately, Overlord had already prepared everything.
Within moments, countless Legends began pouring into the Seventh Layer, bringing with them vast amounts of equipment, resources, and construction forces. Massive fortifications began rising across the land as the Six Sun Alliance moved with unparalleled efficiency.
It took Overlord less than an hour to handle the logistics before he, too, returned his focus to the cosmic revelations surrounding the newly formed layer.
Time passed.
After two months, the once-burning landmass finally began to cool.
The storms that had ravaged the skies slowly started to dissipate, and the violent fluctuations of energy gradually stabilized. The Laws governing the new layer settled into a more balanced state, allowing the first traces of natural formation to emerge.
Mountains rose.
Oceans began to form.
The foundation of a new world was taking shape.
It would still take years before beings below the Legendary Realm could safely inhabit it, but the most dangerous phase had passed.
Only then did the Paragons and Lords withdraw their souls from the phenomenon.
Even so, they remained in deep meditation, internalizing everything they had witnessed—transforming raw experience into comprehension, and comprehension into power.
Then—
"RUMBLE!"
A sudden tremor spread across the sky.
All eyes turned toward Overlord.
The wings on his back flared like supernovas, radiating an overwhelming divine brilliance. The psychic energy emanating from his soul surged uncontrollably, growing stronger with every passing second.
Then, behind him, Heaven’s Gate manifested.
It was colossal—so vast it could swallow entire continents.
But that was not the most astonishing part.
It was changing.
The angelic figures carved into its surface twisted and evolved, becoming more powerful, more refined. Their forms grew sharper, more majestic—and upon their foreheads, a third eye slowly opened.
Vlad’s eyes widened for a brief moment.
Then, a wide smile spread across his face.
Overlord had broken through.
He had ascended beyond the Lord Realm.
His soul had always been extraordinary—vast beyond measure due to his origin as an A.I. Clone. His body and bloodline, inherited from the immensely powerful Paragon Metatron, gave him a foundation unlike any other.
The countless battles, the constant infusion of Origin Power, and the profound insights gained from witnessing cosmic phenomena had finally pushed him beyond his limits.
He had taken the final step.
Overlord was now the first Paragon among the True Depravitas.
