Chapter 415: Chapter 415: Tournament Begins

Morning came and the day of the tournament had finally arrived. Ved and the other takers stood together.

Unfortunately White and the others didn’t qualify. They were strong among their level, unfortunately, they couldn’t compete with higher level beings.

Every single contestant with the exception of a the divinities and a few special others were at level 9.

Only a shy away from creating their own law arts. However being at that level also made them prideful.

When they saw Ved and Naledi who were merely at level 2, that naturally looked down on them.

They all wondered what made those two so special. Actually it wasn’t just the two of them.

There was also Lilith, the divine child from the devil race. The other divine children were in the same boat.

There was one divine child not present, that’s because they were still very young, they had just been born when Ved and Naledi went to the other universe.

So they should be around 50 to 60 years old by now. So they would logically have reached rank 6 at least.

But rank 7 would be a stretch even for a divinity, cultivating that fast was nearly impossible without extremely precious material.

So currently there were only four divinities present. Ved was surprised, he had thought one of them had reached rank 8 at least.

But he was wrong, the strongest divinity was at level 8 of rank 7. Ved wondered deep down if he could take him.

And the conclusion, it wasn’t unlikely, even if he won, it would be a very pyrrhic victory and Ved didn’t like that.

Fenral appeared, he would be overseeing this stage alongside other divinities. The entire stage was a completely separate spatial dimension.

" Alright, you’re all here, as you already know, you will be competing against 100 other universes.

In this stage, there won’t be members from the other top 102 universes so if you lose to weaker universes, don’t bother coming back."

" Well that’s one way to motivate us." Ved whispered but his dragon voice couldn’t exactly be low.

Everybody heard him, especially Fenral who wasn’t just a sovereign but also a wolf with extremely high senses.

" Your highness, I’m glad you’re motivated, I’m looking forward to your performance." His voice softened when talking to Ved.

This made the others look at Ved with different eyes but not in a good way, their impressions of him grew even worse.

There were rumours of these two, claiming they were very powerful. Powerful enough to hurt comprehension realm experts at rank 6.

There was even evidence of it but those comprehension realm were weak, on top of that, most attributed that to a fluke.

They claimed those comprehension realm experts were caught off guard and thought they wouldn’t lose to two pups.

Most of them were thousands of years old, so it was reasonable for them to look down on children like Ved.

Most of all, they were multiple levels above both of them. That’s not even mentioning the difference between stages.

Level 1, 2 and 3 were the early stage, naturally. And from 4 to 6, it was the mid stage.

The difference in strength between 4 and 3 is even greater than the difference between 1 and 3.

It grows even higher the further ones comprehension is. At late stage and some even at the peak.

They didn’t for a second doubt they were much stronger than those two. So they concluded.

Them being here was simply because of their connections not their strength. They thought the same if Lilith.

Speaking of, Lilith flew towards them with a wide grin. Ved could sense her power and knew she was at level 4.

’ How the hell did she increase her level so quickly?’ he wondered, mind you the two of them had been baptised by Pangera.

" Hello little bird, do you still remember me?" She talked to Naledi who merely gave her a single glance.

Seeing Naledi ignoring her, Lilith didn’t give up like a normal person would, she continued talking.

" You’re probably wondering why I got so strong so fast right right? Well I’ll tell you. You weren’t the only ones with your own luck.

There was like this other dimension my father found, probably made by some old expert I’m telling you.

And you know you know, we like went there I found two stones, turned out they were law stokes can you believe that.

Such luck, but that should’ve been expected of a child of destiny such as myself you know you know."

’ Is this her real personality? She’s nothing like when I first saw her, she looked and sounded more matured back then.

Now, she talks more than White, she doesn’t even care if anybody is listening, what’s wrong with her?’

" Lady Lilith, please mind your status, you can’t just go around talking to anybody, you can only interact with those on your level."

A devil came up behind her, he was dressed like a butler. Like most people here, he was at level 9.

Lilith looked at him and her eyes turned cold. " And do you think you’re at my level?" Her voice came out as cold as winter.

This made the butler giggle, " Not at all my lady I am but your humble servant, I’m merely trying to uphold your image.

You wouldn’t want others to look down on you would you?" She didn’t respond and kept glaring at him coldy.

Multiple giant shadows appeared around them. Some were even as large if not larger than Ved.

One of them was a six armed gorilla standing at 600 metres tall. Next to him with a brown bear.

She was around 400 metres tall on all fours, her blood blazed high making the air around sizzle and boil.

She was the granddaughter of the bear sovereign. " At her status you say? Are implying the young king of beasts is less than a mere princess of your race?

You do know what that means right? You’re saying you devils are better than us is that it?

Should we prove that right now? Your highness, you wouldn’t mind if I crush this buy no?"

The butler started sweating, he hadn’t thought his words clearly, to attract this monstrous she bear was the worst outcome.

She was quite famous amongst the lineage of the sovereign beasts. She was a warmonger like her grandfather and incredibly powerful too.

" Enough Gaell, there’s a time and place for that." Ved stopped her before she could attack.

Behind them, a silver appeared. " Your highness, my lady." He bowed to Ved and Naledi.

Before any of them could react or continue with their conversations, they found themselves some place else.
