Ved felt the sound of the gavel and the ability of the panther was pushed away. His vision cleared.

His senses were still being effected by its innate ability but at least he could see and hear now.

What he saw was the panther swaying in the air as if it would fall with a slight gust of wind. Its body looked emaciated.

His spell had failed to kill it but still, effecting a creation realm beast to such an extent as a mere comprehension realm was beyond impressive.

" Aha.." he suddenly coughed up blood, his throat felt like it was burning and he tried to speak but no voice came out.

More than that he noticed there was a stabbing pain inside him. Specifically his soul.

He tried to move but his body refused and he found himself falling to the ground like a meteor.

The panther followed but it wasn’t falling, it was chafing after him. Ved tried to move his body to no avail.

He tried to will his traits to activate to no avail. The only thing he had remaining was his law barrier.

His law avatar tried to heal him as fast as possible working alongside his regeneration trait but it wasn’t fast enough.

’ Damnit, I got carried away, what was I thinking fighting a beast and entire realm above me?’

Unfortunately there was no medicine for regret. He could only watch as the panther moved to finish him off.

The law of destruction around its body from the spell was destroying it but it wasn’t doing it fast enough.

He gritted his teeth and tried to use another magic spell but his vocal cords couldn’t work at all.

All that came out was a whistle, not even a good sounding whistle but one accompanied by him choking on his blood.

BOOOOOM, he crashed on the ground at the same time the panther fangs reached his throat.

Just as they were about to sink in, the panther suddenly froze, then it fell on its side and died.

Ved saw a flash of gold descending from the sky. " You fought well little one." He heard an encouraging voice.

He reached out to grab the panther but lost consciousness immediately after but his law avatar did not disappear. It continued dropping life origin on him to heal him.

Anglomesh smiled like a proud grandfather and took Ved and flew off. ’ To do so much damage to a creation realm beast at his level.

Truly, you might be the strongest of our kind to ever exist, I really can’t wait to see how you fare against the others.’

Since the year was over, the time for the tournament had come. A stage was set on Pangera.

After all, the gate was on Pangera. The top experts wanted to watch the tournament while also keeping watch on the gate.

After the stage was set, screens were projected across the entire multiverse where intelligent life existed.

An announcer which also happened to be a sovereign spoke. It was Karuna with her sweet enchanting Kitsune voice.

" Ladies and gentlemen, to those who do not know and are confused. What you’re seeing is the inter universal tournament where our young heroes will duke it out to determine the leading universe.

The reason for such a tournament will be explained later but for now I will explain the rules.

The first and most important rule, blatant killing of others us not allowed. Those below rank 5 and those above rank 7 are not allowed to join the tournament.

The tournament will be divided into two stages. The battle royale where teams from each universe will have to defend a flag of their own while trying to steal the flags of others.

Any universe that lost their flag would be elimated from the competition. Because of the number of universes there are.

It has been decided that this stage of the tournament will be split into exactly 100 stages.

On each stage, only one universe must remain before the time limit is over or all the universes on that stage will be elimated.

The second stage will be one on one battles and for fairness. In case your universe was elimated during the first stage.

You will be allowed to challenge others only once on the second stage as an individual under certain conditions."

This was done because after some discussions. It was decided they would give the weaker universes a chance.

That way, even after merging there would be no resentment for them not even being allowed to enter the competition.

However there were many universes, while not countless, there were still way too many. Anglomesh had communicated with the Gods.

And from the God’s current positions at the edge of existence. They’re able to see the entire multiverse.

Therefore the number of universes in existence was made more clearer. 12 344 living universes.

There were many other universes but they were either dead or failed universes. Ones that never developed life after their creation.

As for the conditions to challenge others during the single combat stage. That would be based in your performance during the first stage.

If you’re prove yourself weak or lacking in talent. You won’t be able to challenge others or you’ll just be wasting everybody’s time.

While more preparations were underway. Ved slumbered. Naledi rushed to his side as soon as she heard.

" Is he okay?" She asked Anglomesh with a worried voice.

Anglomesh nodded, " It’s truly amazing, his soul is healing on its own. While I doubt he’ll be at full power when the tournament start.

He should be fully healed by the time of the single combat stage. I’m more worried about his dragon tongue.

Even this powerful law avatar of his is finding its hard to heal his dragon cords, he might not be able to use dragon magic for a while."

While all of this was happening, Ved and Manas were working overtime inside his heard.

Ved’s spell gave him an inspiration and he found his tune for his dragon magic. Right now, he was working on creating spells.

He had come to a realisation that dragon magic might be his main fighting style from now on.

Besides his regeneration and three passive traits. The other traits suddenly felt inadequate.
