Chapter 407: Chapter 407: God

Anglomesh didn’t say anything, other sovereigns appeared around them, each one more surprised than the other.

They flew back to Pangera but didn’t discuss what Ved had just done. When he got there he found Naledi was gone.

He learnt she had been taken by Elena for training. Elena’s spatial laws were best in probably all the universes.

A week later they returned and it was time for actual action. Sovereigns led by Anglomesh were to go to the other side as scouts.

Ved and the others watched with anticipation. Soran was amongst those who volunteered.

The pain of losing her daughter was still too much for her to bear, she wanted to relieve her anger on something.

The sovereigns opened the gate and something immediately came out but it was weak.

A vermin of the Nameless of Bones, a white vermin at that. Even though it was at creation realm, it was pathetically weak.

Anglomesh merely puffed and the air from his nose shattered the vermin into bone fragments.

They went through while those left behind cheered them on. ’ This is getting real.’ Ved strangely felt excited.

---------------------------------

On the other side.

" So what do you think of the successor lord Anglomesh?" Soran asked the dragon significantly larger than she was.

Anglomesh nodded, " He’s impressive, more than I ever expected. I noticed he can’t use essence.

Yet his power is still so immense, he’s a peculiarity indeed, I can’t wait to see what he shows us next."

Soran nodded, she thought the same. Ved to her was worthy of being the successor of the king of beasts.

They passed through the minor void between universes through the gate and reached the other universe.

The fallen universe and it was worse than anything they’ve ever expected. This universe was beyond fallen.

It was basically half the void itself now, like Pangera it used to be a continent but it was shattered.

Unlike Pangera, it didn’t form planets when it shattered. The continent seemed to have splintered into islands.

Some small and some incredibly massive but all of them had one thing in common, they were dead.

Not a single island had even a living tree, their waters had mostly dried up. Those that still had water, had corrupted water.

Soran used her mist to surround everybody and hide them but the heavenly laws around were like a beacon in this place.

They were a light source in pitch darkness, before long they heard loud roars all around them.

It wasn’t long before they found themselves surrounded. " It’s the fallen." One sovereign spoke.

Anglomesh shook his head, " Now quite, look closer, look into their eyes." They all did so.

Then they realised, these guys lacked any semblance of intelligence. The fallen had intelligence.

These were corrupted, they were basically no different from void beasts at this point, just mindless creatures of destruction.

However this was actually a good thing, fighting an intelligent foe was significantly harder.

Flamel was the first time attack, her fiery personality made her very impatient. A flame lip up the darkness around them.

The golden flame spread out like a fan and burnt the weaker corrupted in front of her to ashes.

" ROAAAAAR" A creature that looked looked like a bull roared. Instead of a bull tail though it had tentacles.

Countless tentacles dancing behind it like jellyfish. On its face were four pairs of blood red eyes.

A large maw with razor sharp rotten teeth and a long tongue that had thin nearly invisible razors all over it.

Flamel merely gave it a single glance and lost interest. It had a terrifying appearance but that was it.

Compared to a divine creature like her, that thing was basically an ant. A human sovereign took it on.

Anglomesh was the only one who didn’t act. He was waiting. Anglomesh felt uneasy like something was watching them.

Considering how much of this place has been integrated into the void, he didn’t know what could come up.

Perhaps even a God can exist here but that would be a terrible thing for everybody. God’s were beings far beyond sovereigns.

Even he a demigod would be nothing but an ant in front of a true God. Anglomesh almost laughed at himself.

There was no way a true God could exist here, there was absolutely no chance of that happening or they would already be dead.

He floated in empty space and watched the battles being wages around him. The islands below shattered into smaller fragments from the shockwaves.

The fearless corrupted who were weaker couldn’t handle the shockwaves and died in droves.

Soran was the one killing the most, her unique law made it hard for low spirituality beings like this to deal with.

It was called deceptive mist, a sub law of water that involved illusions. Her illusions were not at the level of a kitsune.

But they were still powerful plus her mist was also extremely cold. It froze her opponents to Ice almost instantly.

Even those stronger than her had layers of frost all over their bodies. Their movements became slower.

This allowed her to constrict them and crush them. Sometimes she would bite and inject her cold venom into them freezing their blood.

Flamel was more relaxed, she was the second most powerful after Anglomesh and non of the corrupted stood a chance again her.

Her flames burnt the void itself, then she would absorb the ashes of her enemies to strengthen herself.

It was a power that fed itself allowing her to grow stronger during battle the more she killed.

The other impressive person was the dwarf, dwarves were crafters and not fighters but Anvil was different.

He pulled out weapon after weapon each with a different and incredibly powerful ability of its own.

This made the other envious, if they could wield so many weapons they would be unbeatable.

" Stop!" Anglomesh shouted stopping them. " Retreat now!" His voice sounded panicked, they didn’t dare delay and moved but it was too late.

An eye larger than Anglomesh suddenly appeared in the void. They felt like they were standing before a burning galaxy.

’ How? How can we be so unlucky and meet a God here?’ Anglomesh felt there was more to this, this fallen universe, was more than just a fallen universe.
