Chapter 399: Chapter 399: Ancient Dragon
He talked to Traxy, both adopted siblings sat together next to their mother. Naledi left, she went to talk to Aira.
From her she learnt that general Ndlovu was gone alongside many of their comrades. This saddened Naledi but it didn’t break her.
She inquired about the others, Aira told her everything, she told her about those who left and those who stayed.
Naledi found herself being relieved that many of her closest friends were not on earth when this happened.
After chatting with Aira and Alya she went back to Ved. While she had lost people too, none of them were very close to her.
She was still greatly saddened by the destruction of her home and the death of so many she swore to protect.
But Ved’s case was different, he had lost a father figure. She could imagine the pain he was feeling right now.
Time passed and an entire month went by, during that month, a lot happened. A truce was had between the strongest universes.
Pangera was connected to two other old universes that survived the great war and those universes were connected to others as well.
After counting, it was determined that 102 universes had survived the old era, technically there were 17 others.
But they had been damaged even more than Pangera, their laws were so weak they couldn’t even support more than two sovereigns.
So they weren’t counted in the top universes. Amongst those top 102 universes.

Pangera was ranked at 34, there were 33 universes who were stronger. Those universes had came out of that war relatively intact.
They had peak sovereigns and the strongest universe called Adalei even had a demigod. Unfortunately even they lost passage to godhood.
So that demigod had been stuck on that level for billions of years without any hope of breaking through.
Currently the 102 universes were signing a temporary truce. This truce naturally did not extend to weaker universe.
Without the exception of those with sovereigns, even a single sovereign would count.
The other universes were free game, the point of this war to begin with was to strengthen the universes.
But right now, they needed to deal with this fallen universe and considering the nature of fallen universes.
There was a possibility it had a God. The strongest man here tapped his finger on the table.
" Now, with the truce signed, it’s time to discuss this impeding threat." The others nodded.
Fenral was the strongest sovereign of Pangera and naturally its representative, he opened his massive mouth and spoke.
His voice shook space and time, fortunately they were in Adalai. Like Pangera it had integrated another universe.
So the table they sitting around was made of planets and stars and even it almost failed to withstand his voice.
" Please lower your voice Fenral." The demigod asked him and Fenral nodded his massive head.
" As I was saying, I personally faced a sovereign from that universe and he was strong.
He could wield the power of the void almost as effectively as the children of the nameless themselves.

While we won, we lost a promising child in return." He felt saddened when he thought about Soran’s daughter.
" Considering that was most likely a scout, I can’t imagine the power of their true army." His words made everybody’s faces turn grim.
" That might not even be our biggest problem, we all know entry to the heavens is limited to the void beings.
They can only enter through special conditions and cannot stay for too long, like the children of blood can only remain as long as the blood moon hangs.
However a fallen universe is different, if they used it to access the other universes, they can trick the heavenly laws."
Elena spoke, she had been choses as a representative of her universe even though she wasn’t the strongest.
" I have a question." A sovereign that looked like a giant worm with countless eyes spoke drawing everybody’s attention.
" What if there are more fallen universes, how do we deal with those? Frankly I’m not comfortable risking the strength of my universe for that one."
His words made everybody frown, they had all thought about and some were of the same mind as him.
The demigod continued tapping his finger on the table, he didn’t speak and watched them argue amongst each other.
Then he stopped, as soon as the tapping stopped, they turned towards him and waited.
" You’re not obligated to participate." He spoke making the worm sigh with relief, so did others.
" However bear in mind, should you not, then your universe will no longer fall under the treaty."
That made them pause, they knew exactly what that meant. If they’re no longer protected by the treaty.
Then the other universes were no longer protected from them, that would make them a threat.
Therefore, the others were bound to work together to eliminate them first and remove the knife of their necks.

They sighed, they realised choice was merely an illusion here, in actuality, everything had been decided.
But the threat of the possibility of other fallen universes didn’t leave their minds.
" You don’t have to worry, it would take too much power for the void army to mask the fallen universes.
Currently, those old monsters whose names cannot be uttered are incapable of intervening directly.
Their children who have rescued Godhood have their own things to deal with, the possibility of another fallen universe is very low."
The demigod spoke, unlike the others he was privy to some information, he can talk to certain gods.
He had been informed of the armies stationed at the edge of existence and knew another great war was coming.
What they needed was to increase the strength of the younger generation, he already had an idea on who to focus on.
The meeting ended, " You can all return home, gather your armies and send aid to the Pangera universe."
’ perhaps I should go there myself, it has been a long time since I’ve visited the home of the great king.’
The demigod rose to leave, golden wings unfurled behind him. His body towered above every being here.
For this was the last ancient dragon, a great dragon no less.
