"What is it?" The emperor’s curiosity was piqued upon witnessing Liang’s intense reaction. He couldn’t help but inquire, "Has someone killed your other half?"

Upon hearing the question, Liang composed himself and fixed his gaze upon the emperor. He couldn’t shake off the feeling that this man possessed an uncanny knowledge about him.

"No, it can’t be," the emperor chuckled suddenly. "Although it is very faint and challenging to detect, even for me, the life signature of your other half is still present."

Liang’s eyes widened with surprise. Of course he knows that Kai was not yet dead. However, for the emperor to sense it just from their current location, that spoke of an entirely different realm of abilities. Composing himself, Liang took a deep breath and asked, "What exactly do you mean by ’life signature’?"

The emperor’s smile widened. "A life signature is a unique mark. Each person possesses a distinct life signature, and its disappearance signifies their demise."

Liang furrowed his brow. "But what if the person has a clone or if their soul fragment or consciousness still exists?"

Nodding thoughtfully, the emperor replied, "In that case, the life signature will not dissipate unless everything connected to that person is extinguished."

"Actually," the emperor continued, a mischievous glint in his eyes, "in the higher realms of cultivation, there exist numerous techniques to eradicate a life signature. Each cultivator generally possesses at least one or two of these methods."

"And, as a matter of fact, the cultivation technique I gifted you earlier grants you your own Life Extinguishing Technique called Dimensional Annihilation," the emperor declared confidently.

The cultivation technique is known as the Boundless Universe Art.

In the Spirit Awakening Realm, cultivators embarked on their journey by delving into the laws of the void and honing their spiritual strength. Through profound introspection and meditation, they developed a deep understanding of the void and its boundless potential. Their efforts resulted in the formation of a void slit within their heart. This invisible passage served as a conduit, connecting them to a special world known as the void world.

Transitioning to the Spirit Palace Realm, cultivators directed their consciousness inside the void slit, venturing into its depths with focused determination. Through intense concentration and unwavering control, they learned to converge the vast reserves of void Qi present within the slit. As they diligently practiced, the void Qi gradually took shape, forming a protective layer akin to a stately palace.

Advancing to the Core Formation Realm, cultivators refined their mastery over the void Qi and its manipulation. Drawing from the potent reserves of void Qi amassed within the void slit, they started to form a heavenly core. This core, composed entirely of void Qi, served as the foundation of the void world.

With newfound proficiency, cultivators strove to reach the Nascent Soul Realm. Here, they delved deeper into the mysteries of the void and the elemental laws that governed existence. Choosing one of the elemental laws, such as fire, water, earth, or wind, cultivators embarked on nurturing and refining their heavenly core.

The Spirit Severing Realm marked a pivotal stage in cultivation. Cultivators embarked on a symbolic and transformative journey of cutting their heavenly core into two halves. Through this process, cultivators unlocked latent potential and deepened their comprehension of not only the essence of the void but also the law of life.

At the Dao Integration Realm, cultivators focused on fortifying the connection between their core and physical body by infusing it with life force and life Qi.

Finally, at the Void Transformation Realm, cultivators possessed the ability to control the void Qi on a grand scale. Through the integration of their two core halves, they achieved a perfect harmonization between heaven and earth within the void slit, resulting in the emergence of a new world, which is known as the first heaven.

This cultivation art is composed of nine stages, known as the nine Heavens.

Each of the nine heavens represented a different level of cultivation and enlightenment, with the First Heaven being the initial stage.

Liang couldn’t help but feel a sense of curiosity and confusion. "I only possess knowledge of the First Heaven, but what about the other eight heavens?"

The emperor’s smile widened, his eyes gleaming with mystery. "There isn’t."

Liang’s brow furrowed, struggling to make sense of this revelation. "No cultivation instructions about the other heavens?"

The emperor’s smile remained, his voice unwavering. "Cultivation techniques follow a five-stage progression: Mundane, Mystical, Celestial, Divine, and Primal. The Mundane stage allows cultivators to achieve the Void Transformation Realm, and from there, you can deduce the rest."

Understanding began to dawn upon Liang, though he still found it difficult to fathom.

A flicker of pride sparkled in the emperor’s eyes. "The technique you possess, the Boundless Universe Art, is no ordinary cultivation method. It is considered a Divine Grade Technique, surpassing the boundaries of mundane comprehension."

Liang’s astonishment grew as the magnitude of the Boundless Universe Art’s power and significance became clear. He had no idea that he was now in possession of such a unique and extraordinary technique.

Seeking further clarification, Liang persisted, "While the Boundless Universe Art first heaven is remarkable, what about the other eight heavens? Surely there is more to this cultivation art."

A smirk appeared on the emperor’s face, his words laced with superiority. "You need not concern yourself with the other heavens at this moment. When the time is right, you will discover their mysteries. The power and complexity of a Divine Grade Technique surpass anything you can imagine."

Liang nodded reluctantly. He knew that there were depths of knowledge and understanding that he had not yet reached. But thinking about the third gift, he couldn’t help but smile inwardly.

The emperor’s third gift proved to be of immense importance. It was a vast library, containing countless scrolls and books that encompassed various cultivation techniques and wisdom from countless cultivators.

"This library, known as the Boundless Void Depository, is a condensed version of my personal collection," the emperor explained. "It will serve as a valuable resource for your cultivation path."

Gratitude swelled within Liang as he realized the magnitude of this gift. The Boundless Void Depository would provide him with the knowledge and guidance needed to refine his skills and understanding.

Having presented all that was necessary, the emperor dismissed Liang with a lazy tone. "That is all you need for now. Go forth and attend to your own affairs."

Liang nodded before turning to leave. He really didn’t want to spend any other moments with this man. However, just as he was about to teleport, a voice seemed to echo from behind him—a voice filled with caution and concern.

"Before you depart, there is one piece of advice I must offer," the voice intoned earnestly. "Beware of the concept known as Heaven’s Will. It can grant great power, but it can also bring forth unimaginable harm. Tread carefully in its presence."

Startled, Liang’s heart raced as he turned back, only to find himself standing alone in the empty courtyard. The emperor, whose commanding presence had infused the air just moments ago, had vanished without a trace, leaving behind nothing but the weight of his profound words that lingered in the stillness.

With a cold glint shimmering in his eyes, Liang’s majestic wings unfurled gracefully as a mysterious portal materialized before him. Without hesitation, he crossed the portal, and as soon as he did so, it closed shut and disappeared, as if erasing any trace of his passage.

Time seemed to blur as Liang soared through the vast cosmos, traversing unimaginable distances until he arrived at a small planet nestled near the outer ring of the devil realm. In a breathtaking display, a luminous space portal suddenly materialized before him, revealing an ethereal creature—a magnificent white-scaled, winged serpent.

Liang’s sharp eyes scanned the uncharted terrain, mapping out the landscape meticulously before he gracefully arced in a specific direction. Momentum building, he maneuvered his powerful wings with precision, carrying him swiftly towards a certain direction.

Soon, to his surprise, a tattered old house materialized in front of him, seemingly out of thin air. Positioned in front of the weathered abode sat an old man, his silver hair flowing gracefully in the wind. Serene and content, he cradled a delicate wine glass in his hands, savoring its contents with aged wisdom.

The old man’s face suddenly lit up with a warm smile as he noticed the serpent-like creature not too far from him. Despite the surprise, Liang materialized in front of the old man’s house, seamlessly appearing out of thin air.

Glancing at the old man, Liang sneered, his voice tinged with a hint of mockery, "If I had arrived a moment too late, all that would remain of you would be a mere bag of bones."

The old man placed his wine cup down gently and responded, "Late? It has been sixty long years since my battle with that wretched woman."

Liang’s gaze hardened, and he replied with biting sarcasm, "And whose fault was it for being so careless?"

The old man’s expression turned grave, and he cautioned, "No, you don’t understand. This Mi Ling, she is different from anything we have encountered before."

Liang’s eyes narrowed in surprise, intrigue flooding his thoughts. "Different? In what way?"

A flicker of uncertainty flashed across the old man’s eyes before he continued, "If my instincts are correct, she seems to have cultivated all four systems: the domains of soul, spirit, body, and bloodline."

Liang’s voice wavered with a mix of surprise and concern, "What? That’s impossible!"
