Bai Meiyue naturally did not stop them, so when Yang Wei’s convoy asked the gates to be opened, the guards at the watchtower naturally agreed. They opened the gates and let the convoy pass through them. "What else do you want to do? Ask them to stay? Or make them submit to me even when they are unwilling? If they want to leave, then naturally I will not make them serve me. Anyway, I do not lack people who are loyal to me."

Bai Meiyue had no intention of forcing these people. They were not hers to begin with, so why would she even bother to keep them under her safe base? "No. I am just worried that they would return."
