Chapter 258: Heavenly Dragon Ark

Later, a brand-new yacht suddenly appeared in front of Waldo. It looked very stylish!

"A yacht!" Waldo was surprised. He thought to himself, "This will be a reliable means of transportation for taking the two girls out in the future, solving a problem."

With a smile on his face, Waldo headed towards Helen and Alanna.

"I’ve got a surprise for you. Stay tuned!"

"A surprise? What kind of surprise?" the two girls were slightly puzzled.

Not long after, they saw Waldo piloting a yacht approaching them.

"Oh my, it really is a yacht!" The two girls were astonished and thought they might be seeing things.

Waldo couldn’t help but smile when he saw the wide-eyed expressions on their faces. Just as he had anticipated, the girls were genuinely surprised.

"What are you two still standing there for? Hurry up and get on board! It’s time to go back!" Waldo said.

"What’s this surprise?" Alanna asked.

"Yeah, what’s going on?" Helen was equally curious.

Waldo nodded and chuckled, "You’ll see. Get on board, it’s time to head back."

With that, the two girls snapped out of their surprise and boarded the yacht. They couldn’t help but look around in amazement.

"Waldo, how did you get this yacht?" Alanna asked.

"That’s right, did you find it in a supply box?" Helen added.

Waldo nodded and replied, "Yes, you’re correct. It was in a supply box. This time, I got lucky and opened a Platinum-level box, and this yacht was inside."

Helen thought for a moment and said, "It seems that once we entered the ocean, the contents of supply boxes started to change. In the future, when we open them, we might get different items."

Waldo agreed with a nod.

"That’s right. Perhaps, in the future, we’ll find various types of boats in these supply boxes. Who knows, we might even come across warships. Just thinking about the grand spectacle of battles at sea is exciting!"

Waldo shook his head, letting go of these idle thoughts. He started the yacht and headed back in the direction of the Dawn’s Hope.

The Titan Orca, a killer whale, followed closely behind the yacht. Its speed was impressive and easily kept up with the yacht’s pace.

Not long after, they spotted a massive vessel sailing on the surface of the sea.

"The Dawn’s Hope, the Noah’s Ark!"

Waldo sighed in relief, "We’re back. Finally, we won’t have to spend the night at sea!"

As the yacht approached the Dawn’s Hope, many survivors on board noticed the incoming vessel and started discussing it. However, when they saw Waldo at the helm of the yacht, their expressions changed subtly, and they quickly hushed their conversations.

Ever since Waldo defeated the three rulers of Japan, he had become the de facto ruler of the Dawn’s Hope. The Dawn’s Guardian Force he established was the sole power on board, managing all aspects of life aboard the ship.

His comprehensive rules and regulations had to be followed by everyone, and thus, he had gained absolute authority during these past few days. No one dared to speak ill of him behind his back. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Soon, Waldo returned to the Dawn’s Hope. However, before he could even reach his room, he received an urgent message from Silva.

Silva’s message read: "Emergency situation! Come quickly!"

Waldo’s eyebrows raised in surprise. Silva’s tone indicated that something significant had happened; otherwise, he wouldn’t be in such a hurry. In Waldo’s experience, Silva was generally a composed individual, so he wouldn’t panic without reason.

Without hesitation, Waldo told Alanna and Helen, "Silva has something urgent. I’ll be right back. You two go ahead!"

With that, Waldo promptly made his way to Silva’s location. Besides Silva, there were seven or eight members of the Dawn’s Guardian Force present, all armed and vigilant as if preparing for a formidable enemy.

Additionally, three survivors were tied up tightly with ropes, kneeling on the ground, covered in blood, with visible signs of being beaten and subjected to inhuman treatment.

"Silva, what’s going on? Why did you urgently call me over?" Waldo inquired, casting a quick glance at the other three individuals.

These three strangers appeared unfamiliar to him, but he couldn’t be entirely sure. He had been on the Dawn’s Hope for several days, and he might not have met everyone. Their unfamiliarity was not necessarily suspicious.

However, it was evident that these three individuals had committed some wrongdoing. Otherwise, Silva wouldn’t treat them this way, nor would he have called Waldo for assistance.

Silva proceeded to explain the situation in detail. "Waldo, this afternoon, our Dawn’s Guardian Force unexpectedly discovered a small boat in the sea. There were three people aboard, and they are these three!"

As he spoke, Silva pointed to the three individuals in front of him.

He continued, "We observed their suspicious behavior and brought them on board. Initially, I thought they might be survivors who had escaped from the Dawn’s Hope. If that were the case, we could have let them be. However, during the interrogation, I discovered that these three individuals are not survivors from the Dawn’s Hope. They originate from a Noah’s Ark named the Heavenly Dragon, and their mission is to locate the positions of other Noah’s Arks and then launch attacks on the discovered Arks!"

Waldo remained silent, carefully listening to the details of the situation. Gradually, the pieces of the puzzle began to fit together in his mind.

The three survivors before him came from the Heavenly Dragon Noah’s Ark, which was controlled by two individuals known as the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf. Unlike the Dawn Ark, the Heavenly Dragon had fallen under the control of the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf at a very early stage.

When everyone was still terrified and focused on the super tsunami, these two brothers acted swiftly, assassinating several first-class ticket holders on board.

They managed to rally a group of people in a very short time, and soon, the entire Heavenly Dragon Noah’s Ark was under the control of the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf.

After drifting aimlessly on the sea for some time, the Heavenly Dragon Noah’s Ark unexpectedly found a supply crate. It was a Diamond-level supply crate. From it, the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf acquired a battleship with a displacement of approximately 30,000 tons.

This battleship was relatively small and quite outdated, having been retired from most naval forces worldwide. However, in a world without satellite navigation, battleships could exert far more formidable power than most other ships. Therefore, the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf were overjoyed by this discovery.

Subsequently, they became ambitious and wanted to achieve something significant with this battleship. They began to plan and scheme, intending to locate the positions of other Noah’s Arks and use the battleship’s formidable firepower to force the survivors on those Arks to submit to them.

For this purpose, the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf meticulously devised a series of detailed plans.

First, they had people engage in conversations on communication channels to gather information about the locations of other Noah’s Arks. Soon, they targeted a survivor from the Dawn Ark. Through conversations, they quickly obtained information about the Dawn Ark’s location. What surprised them even more was that the distance between the two Arks wasn’t very far.

As a result, the Blue Wolf ordered someone to go to the designated area, acting as a scout to further confirm the Dawn Ark’s location. This led to the subsequent events. The three individuals from the Heavenly Dragon Noah’s Ark, sent to gather information, not only discovered the Dawn Ark but also had the unfortunate luck of being detected and captured by the Dawn Guard.

Waldo remained expressionless, his gaze cold with a glint of steel. "I want to know if you three have disclosed the location of the Dawn Ark to the Heavenly Dragon Ark."

The three bound survivors from the Heavenly Dragon Noah’s Ark seemed defiant, with one of them even daring to retort, "It looks like you’re the captain of the Dawn Ark! Let us go now, and there might still be a way out. If you dare lay a hand on us, every one of you will die without a doubt!"

Seeing this, Waldo let out a cold snort. "Courting death!"

Instantly, a powerful aura erupted from Waldo. The three individuals from the Heavenly Dragon Noah’s Ark turned red-faced and struggled, overwhelmed by the immense pressure. Waldo brandished a Desert Eagle and aimed it at the one who had spoken.

Bang!

A deafening gunshot echoed through the air, accompanied by a burst of blood. In an instant, the entire head was blown to pieces. The remaining two individuals trembled with fear.

Waldo spoke again, his voice icy, "I’ll ask once more. Did you disclose the location information of the Dawn Ark to the Heavenly Dragon Ark? You only need to answer ’yes’ or ’no.’ I don’t want to repeat myself, or your companion’s fate will be yours."

Waldo’s eyes were filled with cold indifference.

The remaining two individuals dared not look at Waldo, but they understood very well that Waldo wasn’t bluffing. If they didn’t speak, the next moment, they would be executed with a headshot.

Soon, as Waldo’s voice fell, one survivor from the Heavenly Dragon Ark trembled slightly and cautiously spoke, "When we found the Dawn Ark, we had already informed our leader of the Dawn Ark’s location."

"Very well," Waldo’s voice remained icy.

Witnessing this, the two remaining individuals became even more terrified, their expressions filled with fear and anxiety. The one who had just spoken continued, "However, it wasn’t us who conveyed the information; it was done by the other person, our team leader. He has gained the trust of the Blue Wolf."

"And, initially, it was he who obtained the location information of the Dawn Ark from the survivors on the Dawn Ark!" The other person also nodded repeatedly.

"Yes, yes, we didn’t do anything, actually! We came here under duress. If we didn’t come, they would have thrown us into the sea to feed the sea monsters. We had no choice!"

At this point, the two of them were in a state of extreme panic. They knew what they had done—transmitting the location information of the Dawn Ark to the Blue Wolf and the Black Wolf. As a result, the Dawn Ark was now in danger of an attack from the Heavenly Dragon Ark.

Their actions had pushed the Dawn Ark into an abyss. Therefore, they desperately tried to shift blame and hoped that Waldo would spare their lives. They believed that staying alive was better than anything else.

However, their hopes were ultimately too naive. Their actions not only infuriated everyone from the Dawn Guard present but also left Waldo seething with anger.

Spare them? How could that be possible?
