Just then, the sound of a fierce wind howling came from outside the cave.
"Looks like the wind is picking up."
Perry Yates glanced outside before quickly looking away. ’I’m so glad I found this cave ahead of time,’ she thought, feeling a wave of relief. ’Forget making it to the twentieth day of the game; in this weather, I would’ve been blown away long ago.’
She turned around and looked at the burning fire.
A small pot was set up over the fire, and a pork rib soup was bubbling away inside. Puffs of white steam rose from it, and the fragrant aroma filled the entire cave.
The Little Ferret stood guard by Perry Yates’s side, its eyes glued to the pork rib soup in the pot.
"SQUEAK SQUEAK."
The Little Ferret pointed at the soup and squeaked.
"Just a little longer. It’ll be ready soon."
Beneath the fire, two roasted marrow bones were sizzling as the fat rendered.
"These should be done. Let’s eat them first."
She had already used Ascension on the bones before roasting them, so they weren’t greasy at all. It was like eating steamed egg custard.
Paired with the fragrant pork rib soup, the girl and the Ferret ate with great satisfaction.
After eating and drinking its fill, the Little Ferret followed Perry Yates into the tent and fell into a blissful sleep.
A slight smile touched her lips as she watched the Little Ferret curled up in a ball in the corner.

It first looked around nervously, only lying back down after confirming that its location was safe.

Next were the four-star cards.
The four-star cards were divided into item cards and Skill Cards.
Perry Yates put these cards into the Card Storage Device as well.
Although four-star cards weren’t as precious as five-star ones, they weren’t something just anyone could afford.
In Perry Yates’s opinion, besides the officials, probably very few people could afford a four-star card.
’I’ll wait until the bar opens, then I can use these cards as a backdrop to show off my strength to the customers.’
Then came the three-star, two-star, one-star, and White Cards.
Perry Yates spent the entire morning completely sorting and categorizing all these cards.
