Chapter 1083: Eve of Battle
Clovis looked at the rest of the team. "You should know about this already, but there will be a Tier 9 human who will stop us."
Their expressions were serious. The challenge was much harder than anything they had done because this time, there was no Tier 9 human that helped them. In other words, this would be the first time the Libation Fiesta clashed with a Tier 9 human with their lives on the line.
Depending on the result, they might end up getting killed here.
Clovis turned to Melody.
Melody nodded. "We’re using the power of Another World Mall to create a travel path."
Melody projected the map. "Right now, we’re intending to reach the tower by using this route. I will update the information in real time. For now, what we need to worry about is not how to enter, but how to leave this place.
"By using the service, we are able to find an insider that will allow us to enter the tower quickly. However, the moment the entrance is sealed, the enemy will know and prepare for us.
"So, we will check the tower and focus on chasing us. Of course, they must be well prepared to create a net to catch us in the underworld. In other words, we can enter but can’t exit.
"That’s their plan, according to the travel service."
Melody had looked at their trip from every angle. She could see that no matter what route she took, the moment she entered the tower, the path became extremely dangerous.
In other words, there was a high chance that the Tier 9 human was waiting for them in the underworld instead of the surface.
Hence, they were thinking about returning to the surface instead of continuing to the underworld after they were done with the tower.
But the chase would be relentless, considering a Tier 9 human led them personally.
Melody continued, "As such, we will be going in and out within 30 minutes if possible. If we can’t finish within that time, we will extend it to two hours."
"What? That long? Won’t we be surrounded already?" Kanaria asked.
"There is no other choice. The enemy is now prepared to fight us, so if we can’t finish that fast, the enemy should have deployed everything they have within thirty minutes. Longer than that, it’s better to just take our time here and get as much information as possible."
"Fair point." Kanaria nodded.
"I’m more worried about you exposing your power, Clovis." Christina sighed. "Is it alright to expose your power in front of those people? The enemy will learn about it."
"This is necessary." Clovis nodded. "The purpose of revealing my power is to let them know that my power is not meant to be used by me alone. In other words, they’re going to become even crazier to gain my favor. We’ll use them to hit the enemy.
"It’s true that they will know my power to a certain extent, but what can they do about it? The best they can do is to steal a few pieces of accessories or maybe paintings. I’m still the only one who can take them out.
"In other words, as long as they still recognize me as the source of those items, they will have to follow me and support me.
"Threatening me is no longer working because we’re already at this level.

"I’ll provide the route in real time as usual," added Melody.
"If you have anything to say, it’s best to do it now." Clovis raised his hand.
"Yeah. I have one. So, who will receive the next weapon?" Erwin asked again.
"..." Clovis’s eyebrows twitched. "Don’t worry. You will be the first one to receive it after we’re back."
"Fine." Erwin looked away.
"Also, Kanaria’s weapons are made from a different section, so I don’t know when they will come. Ask Hana."
"Don’t worry. I’m not that greedy with weapons." Kanaria waved her hand. "My role is support, and currently my weapon is more than enough."
"My shields don’t necessarily need anything other than toughness, so it doesn’t really matter when I receive them." Christina nodded.
"That’s the same for me. Even though I use a spear, my main role is to protect everyone, so my shield is more important. And right now, my shield is more than enough." Ragna agreed.
"If no one is going to request it then, I will." Rin raised her hand. "I want a bow."
"In that case, I will take one as well." Luci raised her hand. "I may not exactly play a huge role in fighting anymore, but I still can pack a punch."
"Well, I personally don’t need one." Melody smiled. She still helped from time to time, but she had focused on supporting the team as an operator lately. "If you want, why don’t you focus on Reolf, Rea, and Freud?"
"Sure." Clovis nodded. "In that case, Erwin, Rin, and Luci will be next. Then we will focus on Reolf, Rea, and Freud. After that, we’ll do it for the rest of the group."
They agreed to the arrangement.
"All right. Since we’re done with the discussion, get some rest. Make sure that everyone will be in their best condition." Clovis smiled. Once they dispersed, Clovis nodded to Melody.
Melody nodded.
That night, a man in his fifties looked at his message.
"Tomorrow. 8 a.m."
The man quietly ate his food, as behind him were two briefcases filled with money. And that wasn’t the end of the payment.
