Chapter 5 - The Assessment.
"I am the loyal holy servant of the God of Magic and the God of Light. I am the holy servant," the lady said with a very proud look on her face.
Meanwhile, Kenji had only one thought crossing his mind:
For a servant, you sure act proud.
The lady then walked up to them, her expression shifting to that of a curious child.
"You five are truly very young. You must be less than seventy years old," she said while observing them closely.
"S-Seventy?! How can you say we're younger than seventy? Do we look that old?!" Mayumi said with a worried expression as she nervously moved her hands around her face, silently praying not to see a wrinkle.
"Hahaha! Calm down, I was joking. You have to allow my old bones to laugh a little!" the lady said with an amused smile when she saw Mayumi looking very freaked out.
Everyone released a breath of relief upon hearing her words. They were beginning to fear that they had aged after coming into this world.
"Anyways, as old as I am, I still have to fulfill my devoted duty. I must assess your prowess now. It would be bad for me to keep His Highness waiting," the lady said as she glanced at the king with a side-eye, causing him to look away.
The group noticed the interaction between the two but decided not to question it since it was none of their business.

"Now, who's going to go first?"
She looked at them with questioning eyes, waiting for someone to step up.
"Alright then, I guess I'll go first," Uzumaki Haru suddenly volunteered.
"Then please, hero, place your palm on the crystal," the lady said with a slight smile, directing Haru closer to the orb.
As he placed his palm on the orb, he suddenly felt a suction force coming from it, draining his energy. It was almost as if the orb was sucking away his strength.
The orb then began to glow with a white ethereal aura, its shape twisting and shifting—from staffs to swords to animals to elements—until it finally settled into the form of a sword. Then, a magical energy surged from the orb into Haru's body!
Haru felt power like never before rushing through him, and he couldn't help but gasp in shock.
"This is incredible!" he exclaimed as his body became covered in red armor, with a large greatsword attached to his back.
"It seems that you are a warrior," the holy servant said with a smile as she stepped forward.
She then grabbed his hand with one of hers and placed her other hand on the orb. "Now, I will check what class you are," she said, closing her eyes and concentrating on his internal energy.
Through her, the orb sent a red-colored energy that traveled through her body and into Haru. The energy then gathered at his forehead and revealed a symbol: AA+
"Incredible!" the holy servant said, releasing her grip on his hand as she stared at the symbol on his head.
"Double A! And with the plus sign, it means he still has room for improvement. This is incredible, and they're so young!" she said, astonished.
Haru looked at himself from head to toe, still unable to believe the situation. He wasn't working in some dead-end job anymore—now, he was a hero, destined to save the world from the evil that plagued it. Sure, he missed his family, but he couldn't go back, so why worry about them? Besides, if they were here, they would definitely support him one hundred percent.
"Alright, guys, you're next," he said, confidence overflowing in his voice.
"Wow, Haru, you look very shiny in that armor. Shall we use it to hook up with some girls in this world? I wonder how different they'll be from the ones in our world," Yuji said jokingly.
"You guys are such perverts," Mayumi said with a fake look of disgust.
"Hey, I didn't even get to respond before you started slandering me! Calm down, Mayumi," Haru said, trying to defend his innocence.
"Please, heroes, the next person should step forward," the holy servant reminded them that the others still needed to go through the assessment.
"Alright, I'll go first. I don't want to be near these perverts," Mayumi said as she confidently walked up to the holy servant.
Just like Haru, Mayumi placed her hand on the orb, and it immediately began assessing her class. At the end of the assessment, it was revealed that she was a priestess!
"Incredible! A priestess, just like me," the holy servant said with a smile. "I will be the one to teach you all you need to know, Mayumi."
"Then I will be in your care, teacher," Mayumi said with a slight bow. Even though it wasn't what she had expected, she was satisfied. Priestesses were like messengers of God, and because she had the God attribute, she could borrow a bit of divine strength whenever she truly needed it. Just a small portion of a god's strength and magic was enough to destroy towns! Also, she was AA+ like Haru, meaning she had great potential for improvement.
Next was Miyuki Ozaku. After her assessment, she was revealed to be an AA+ rank spellcaster! That alone spoke volumes about her power.
The king mentioned that he knew a very powerful wizard who could train her into a formidable mage.
Now, only two people were left: Yuji Minato and Makoto Kenji!
