Chapter 19: Agree

"Miss Muller, please try this outfit on," John said as he handed the clothing to Violet.

DING!

(You have obtained a B-Class Armor that increases your Vitality and Agility Attributes by 20%!)

A notification suddenly appeared.

It was exactly as John had described.

"Miss, you can put your feet through the collar first..." John continued, explaining how to wear it.

"The restroom is over there," Paul added, pointing toward a nearby door.

"So it can’t be equipped automatically?" Violet asked.

"Neither can ordinary armor below B-Class," John replied with a smile.

Violet let out a faint snort before walking into the restroom and closing the door.

The outfit was fairly thick, so it would look awkward if she wore it over her existing clothes.

As he controlled Violet, Enzo pressed a key that automatically changed her outfit.

Afterward, he tilted his head upward, feeling awkward about watching such a scene.

It wasn’t that he disliked women or their beauty.

But Violet was a character born from his Talent, someone who existed under his control.

It would feel strange if he became captivated by her.

DING!

(You have equipped a B-Class Armor. Your Vitality and Agility Attributes have increased by 20%!)

Enzo heard the notification through Violet’s System, which also appeared on his own.

[Name: Violet Muller]

[Level: 5]

[EXP: 2,900/5,500]

[Talent:]

Assassin Super (S)

[Strength: 21] [Agility: 30 +20%] [Intelligence: 18] [Vitality: 10 +20%]

[Skills:]

Invisible (S)

[External Power:]

Armor (B)

’Not bad,’ Enzo thought as he examined Violet’s updated status.

A twenty percent increase was no small boost.

Violet already had 30 Agility, plus the 26 she borrowed from him, giving her a total of 56.

With the armor’s twenty percent bonus, it rose to 67.

For an item worth three hundred thousand dollars, the effect was well worth the price.

After all, equipment for Awakeners was never cheap.

A-Class Armor, for example, could cost several times more than B-Class Armor because of its superior effects, assuming anyone was even willing to sell one for money.

Although humanity could manufacture A-Class Armor, the required monster materials were extraordinarily difficult to obtain.

Violet stepped out of the restroom.

Her movements seemed even more fluid now, while the long coat made her appear considerably more imposing.

"How does it feel?" John immediately asked.

"Mr. Martin, do you have an A-Class version of this?" Violet asked instead.

"Unfortunately, the highest grade we’ve been able to produce in clothing form is B-Class," John replied, shaking his head.

"What a shame..." Violet sighed.

"So... is this outfit mine?" she asked.

"Yes. It’s yours if you become our brand ambassador. On top of that, we’ll pay you generously," John answered with a faint smile.

"Could you explain exactly what I’d have to do?"

Enzo was interested in the offer, but he wanted to hear the details first.

"It’s quite simple. We’d like you to create social media accounts and regularly upload content, including photos of yourself. Whenever you’re fighting, you’ll wear our clothing. To make things easier, we’ll also provide you with three of our latest insect drones. Once activated, they’ll automatically record your activities."

"And how much will I be paid?" Violet asked.

"Hehe... We won’t be stingy with someone as talented as you. We’ll cover all of your daily living expenses. Starting today, every Monster Prison will be completely free for you. The management will bill us directly. In addition, you’ll receive one hundred thousand dollars every week as long as you continue working with us. If your content becomes popular, there will also be substantial bonuses."

"Aren’t you going to provide me with Awakener equipment?" Violet asked, slightly frowning.

"That depends on how popular you become. You know, our boss, Mr. Garcia, is one of the strongest Awakeners in the world and possesses immense wealth. So... what do you think? Do we have a deal?"

"Very well. But I don’t want a binding contract."

"Of course. We never force talented Awakeners into restrictive contracts," John said with another smile.

"Please read the agreement. If you’re satisfied, simply sign it."

He handed Violet a sheet of paper and a pen.

Violet quickly read through it—or rather, Enzo did.

After reviewing every clause, Enzo concluded that it truly wasn’t restrictive.

It was simply an employment agreement.

The company’s only requirement was straightforward: if Violet stopped producing content, they would stop paying her.

Likewise, they reserved the right to terminate the partnership if she failed to gain enough popularity.

"I agree," Violet said before signing her name.

It took only a single keystroke from Enzo, and Violet completed the signature herself.

The result was an elegant yet incredibly intricate signature, leaving both John and Paul visibly surprised.

"Your signature alone proves you’re a true genius. It’s no wonder you possess such an extraordinary S-Class Talent," John praised.
