Chapter 11: Level 3

DING!

(Your character has killed two Level 5 Monsters. You and your character have gained 400 EXP!)

(You and your character now have 800 EXP and have leveled up to Level 3!)

(Your Agility has increased from 7 to 17!)

(Violet’s Strength has increased from 11 to 16!)

(Violet’s Vitality has increased from 5 to 10!)

[Name: Enzo Muller]

[Level: 3]

[EXP: 800/1,400]

[Strength: 14] [Agility: 17] [Intelligence: 15] [Vitality: 12]

[Name: Violet Muller]

[Level: 3]

[EXP: 800/1,400]

[Strength: 16] [Agility: 20] [Intelligence: 13] [Vitality: 10]

The EXP they received exceeded even Enzo’s expectations.

He couldn’t help but smile.

Just 600 more EXP, and I’ll level up again.

The faster, the better.

Violet turned toward the cell door.

Her expression didn’t change in the slightest when she saw the senior Awakeners waiting outside.

"Miss..." Paul Walton, who appeared to hold the highest authority among them, spoke.

Violet looked at him, silently waiting for him to continue.

"What’s your name? Why couldn’t we find your information among this year’s rookies?" Paul asked.

Everyone waited for her answer, curious about her background.

After all, someone with an S-Class Talent was destined to become a celebrity among Awakeners.

"Violet Muller," Violet replied.

"I came here on my own. I awakened with the help of an Awakener I happened to meet by chance. I never went to school before, so I couldn’t participate in the official Awakening Ceremony."

Her brief explanation left the rookies stunned.

She had never gone to school.

Which meant she had never participated in the Awakening Trial.

Yet she had awakened an S-Class Talent.

It was enough to make anyone envious.

"Do I need to explain anything else about myself?" Violet asked Paul.

"No, of course not. However, it’s important that you register with the Association. The government wants every Awakener to be officially recorded. Besides, as an S-Class Talent holder, you’re entitled to a government bonus."

"Then go ahead and register me. I still don’t have an ID card, though. I don’t even remember my birthday, but I should be around the same age as everyone else here."

Paul froze for a moment before nodding.

"Let me take your photo first," he said.

Violet didn’t refuse and allowed him to photograph her.

After that, he also asked her to place each of her fingers on his phone’s screen, which apparently had the ability to scan fingerprints.

Naturally, Violet had her own unique fingerprints.

"By the way, what’s the name of your Talent?" Paul asked.

"Assassin Super," Violet answered.

"Assassin Super... That’s a new one. No one has registered a Talent with that name before. I’ll add it to the records. Right, give me your phone number or email address."

Paul seemed eager to gather more information.

This time, Violet frowned.

That reaction naturally came from Enzo.

After a brief silence, Violet answered,

"[email protected]."

The email didn’t exist before.

But Enzo created it on the spot.

He had deliberately chosen an absurdly complicated address to ensure it would be available.

As expected, the registration succeeded.

Fortunately, Paul didn’t ask anything further afterward.

"You’ll receive an email explaining how to claim your bonus. In addition, you’re entitled to a castle within the Sanctuary. You’ll receive its address later. Let’s head back."

After saying that, Paul led the supervisors and instructors away.

"I’m exhausted," one Awakener muttered.

"How about we go to Nectar & Core? I heard it’s the best restaurant in the Sanctuary. They sell monster meat that restores stamina."

"Let’s go."

The rookies also began leaving.

No one wanted to stay inside the Monster Prison if they weren’t fighting or watching something interesting.

Enzo quietly watched them leave.

Quite a few of them had cleaned their own cells.

It wasn’t difficult.

They only had to push the Goblin corpses into the large disposal chute in the corner of each cell using the provided pusher, then mop the floor with the advanced mop whose handle contained cleaning solution.

There were plenty of those tools throughout the prison.

However, compared to those who cleaned up after themselves, there were far more who simply left the mess behind.

This is, of course, a task that an ordinary person could only complete in 10 to 12 hours.

Fortunately, Enzo is no longer an ordinary person, so he can stay calm.

"Mm..."

He then noticed a new email arriving in the account he had just created.

The sender was the Association.

He immediately opened it, more curious than ever.

Sure enough, it contained information about the reward for becoming an S-Class Awakener.

No—not him.

Violet.

But to Enzo, that was no different.

The moment he saw the amount, his eyes lit up.

300,000 Dollars.

She had actually received that much as an initial bonus.

The money had already been deposited into a newly created bank account registered under the name Violet Muller, linked to her email address.

And this was only the starting reward.

Once she reached Level 10, she would receive another cash bonus, along with a A+ Class Weapon.

At the bottom of the email was an address within the Sanctuary, accompanied by a photo of an ancient castle.

It wasn’t particularly large, but it looked magnificent.

Below that was the passcode for the electronic lock guarding its entrance.

With this money, Violet can keep leveling, Enzo thought.

He didn’t spare the castle another glance.

As far as he was concerned, with him lending his Attributes to her, Violet could probably fight another two or three battles without any problems.
