Chapter 1965: Chapter 1969: Let’s Play a Hunting Game
Outside the door, hurried footsteps sounded, as a tall black-clad bodyguard strode in.
"Sir, we’ve spotted two unfamiliar motorboats approaching the island."
"Hmph!" Luo Ke let out a cold snort, "Have they come so soon?!"
Indeed, have they been discovered?!
Leng Zirui’s heart tightened.
"Leave this trivial matter to me." He stood up with a smile, lazily circling the table, "You all continue eating, I’ll be back soon."
Roselia also stood up, following up to his side.
"Just two motorboats." Leng Zirui glanced at her sideways, "Our stunning beauty doesn’t need to act, right?"
"This is a task for both of us, how could I let you face it alone?!" Roselia strode toward the door of the dining room.
Leng Zirui frowned and could only follow her out of the dining room, the three of them dashed out of the villa, following the subordinate to the lookout tower behind the villa.
Although the radar was down and unusable, surveillance was ongoing. With nothing to obstruct them at sea, the two motorboats had quickly come into view through the binoculars.
Leng Zirui and Roselia climbed the lookout tower, taking the binoculars handed over by a subordinate, and indeed saw the two motorboats cautiously navigating around the reefs, an estimated kilometer from the island’s shoreline.
Roselia dropped the binoculars, "Bring the gun!"
A subordinate immediately handed over the sniper rifle to her.
"Hold on!" Leng Zirui raised his hand to press down on her gun, "Darling, don’t you think this is too boring?!"
"What do you mean?" Roselia lowered the gun.
"How about we play a hunting game?" Leng Zirui gestured toward the forest behind the island, "Let them come ashore, then we will play the hunters. If you win, tonight I’m yours; if you lose, I want fifty million!"
Roselia chuckled lightly, "Deal!"
My dear brother, for you, I’m even wagering my own honor!
Seeing Roselia agree, Leng Zirui secretly breathed a sigh of relief, "The rule is no guns allowed."
"No problem." Roselia answered confidently.
As they spoke, the two motorboats had already disappeared behind the dense forest, out of sight.
"Now, shall we start?" Roselia asked.
Leng Zirui replied with a smile, "Start!"
Roselia smirked and turned, rushing down the lookout tower. Even in seven-inch heels, her movements were nimble; she skipped the stairs, leaping down in two bounds to land on the grass, waving to Leng Zirui before sprinting into the forest.
Naturally, Leng Zirui was unwilling to be outdone, throwing off his coat, sliding down from the cable supporting the lookout tower, and pivoting to dash into the forest.
Upon entering the forest, he didn’t rush forward but quietly followed Roselia’s path.
This woman was Luo Ke’s right-hand, her hands stained with the blood of countless people, dying a hundred times wouldn’t suffice.
Trailing behind Roselia, Leng Zirui cautiously pushed aside the brush in front but couldn’t spot the woman.
"ROY!" From a tree beside him, Roselia leapt down, her blue eyes watching him warily, "Why are you following me?"
