Bai Zhi took a second to glance up and saw a female leaning over the wall, looking in their direction.

She had been living here for days, but this was the first time she’d seen her neighbor. "I guess so."

Xiao Yu watched the woman, who looked just as hungry as she had been a moment ago. "Looks like the smell is getting to her, too."

Bai Zhi asked, "Would you mind if I invited her over?"

Xiao Yu shook her head. "Not at all. The more the merrier when it comes to food!"

Xing Fan: "I don’t mind either."

So Bai Zhi handed each of them a skewer of grilled meat, then walked over to the female leaning on the wall. "I made some food," she said with a smile. "Here, try some. Hope you like it."

"It’s barbecue. My friends came over, so I just threw something together."

Xing Fan greeted her with a smile. "Hello."
