Chapter 487: Chapter 487: Don’t Let Anyone Go_1

"Pshaw, forget it!" Shou Hou cursed, reaching over to take the bun from Qin Sisi’s hands.

After ten minutes, most people had finished their buns. Those who hadn’t also had theirs taken away by Shou Hou.

He gave everyone a few sips of water. When he got to Qin Sisi, she turned her head away.

Shou Hou angrily muttered, "Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Starve for two days, and then you’ll beg me to feed you."

Qin Sisi lowered her head in silence, replying coldly in her heart: "I doubt you’ll live for another two days."

Shou Hou, naturally unable to hear Qin Sisi’s internal remarks, continued to act high and mighty, very pleased with himself.

After stuffing the mouths of everyone in the room with rags and putting their hoods back on, he swaggered out, cursing as he went and closing the secret door.

Ye You walked over to the door, listening for a while, then went over to Qin Sisi. He removed her bonds and took out a medicinal pill from his Portable Space for her.

Qin Sisi looked at Ye You in surprise and asked, "What is this?"

Ye You explained, "A common medicinal pill that restores physical strength. How could you not eat anything?"

Qin Sisi curled her lips and swallowed the pill.

After a short while, she did indeed feel invigorated and full of energy.

She sighed in relief and told Ye You, "There’s no other way now. We can only wait."

Ye You chuckled and replied, "We can’t waste time; we should practice Magic."

"Now?" Qin Sisi asked, her eyes widened in surprise.

Without saying anything, Ye You lifted his claw and erected a barrier. His eyes, shining like twin stars, stared at Qin Sisi.

Without any further questions, Qin Sisi stood up, tapped into her Magic, and continued practicing her Fireball Technique.

Five hours later, it was already dark outside.

Ye You removed the barrier and sat with Qin Sisi in the corner, silently waiting for the tear-stained ghost to appear.

As the night deepened, the others in the room had fallen into a deep sleep.

Under continuous torment and humiliation, most of them had already given up hope, merely living from moment to moment.

Qin Sisi sighed quietly, lowering her head.

Suddenly, she felt a presence beside her. She quickly turned her head and found herself staring into a pair of eyes, streaming with bloody tears. The ghost was only half a foot away from her.

Even though she was prepared, Qin Sisi was still startled and hastily scooted back, creating some distance between her and the ghost.

The ghost seemed to sense that Qin Sisi could see her, revealing a hint of confusion in her eyes.

Quickly regaining her composure, Qin Sisi looked at the ghost and softly said, "You’re finally here. I’ve been waiting for you."

The ghost stared incredulously at Qin Sisi, asking, "You can really see me?"

Qin Sisi nodded: "Yes, not only can I see you, but I can also help you."

"Help me?" The ghost repeated in a murmur, "Help with what?"

Qin Sisi answered firmly, "Whatever your heart desires, I can make it come true."

The ghost looked at Qin Sisi, shock etched on her face. She asked skeptically, "Why would you help me?"

"I need Soul Power." Qin Sisi answered straightforwardly, as she was confident that the ghost would accept her terms.

The ghost paused for a moment, a decisive expression appearing in her eyes. She looked up at Qin Sisi and said, "What if I asked you to kill someone for me?"

Qin Sisi glanced at Ye You. They had anticipated this request from the ghost.

She asked knowingly, "Who do you want to kill?"

Blood tears flowed from the ghost’s eyes. She gritted her teeth and said, "The four men outside. Not one can be spared."

Just as expected.

Qin Sisi sighed and said, "I won’t kill, but I can help you."

The ghost corners of her mouth twisted into a grim smile, mixing with the blood tears on her face, creating an eerie sight.

"How can you help me? My Spiritual Power is weak. I don’t have the ability to kill them." She said bitterly, her voice filled with resentment and unwillingness.

Qin Sisi looked at Ye You. He meowed twice and moved to the secret door.

Qin Sisi stood up and said to the ghost, "Follow me."

Ye You stared at the secret door and blinked. A faint purple light shot out, and the secret door slowly opened on its own.

The ghost stared in astonishment but didn’t ask any more questions. As long as the woman in front of her was willing to help her, she didn’t care who she was.

Ye You went out first, followed by Qin Sisi, with the ghost trailing behind Qin Sisi. They left the room and entered the room where the four men were.

It was the middle of the night. A dim electric lamp hung from the ceiling. Thick mats lay on the floor, where the four men were sound asleep, snoring loudly.

The ghost didn’t understand Qin Sisi’s intentions. She stated with anger and helpless, "Even if they are asleep, it won’t make any difference. At most, I can only absorb some of their Yang energy.

In their prime years, their Yang energy is abundant. If I only absorb one person’s energy, it would take at least a year to kill him. By that time, the other three would have probably fled somewhere.

I want them to die now, immediately, all of them!"

Ye You made a low meow, and Qin Sisi nodded. She pointed to a knife hovering over the men’s heads and said, "There’s a knife."

The ghost looked where Qin Sisi was pointing, and sure enough, there was a shiny knife there, about twenty centimeters long.

The ghost looked puzzled. She was in a ghost form now and didn’t have the ability to control physical objects.

Just when the ghost was confused, Ye You emitted a ball of blue light from behind her that pushed her into the body of the burly man.

A few minutes later, the sleeping man sat up slowly, looking somewhat confused at his own body and then at Qin Sisi, who was standing not too far away.

Qin Sisi spoke in a grave tone, "Now you should know what to do."

A satisfied expression appeared on the man’s face. He picked up the knife and stood up, looking down at the men sleeping — the driver, the bald man, and Shou Hou — a cruel smile etched on his face.

...

Half an hour later, the man looked coldly at the blood pooling on the ground and the mutilated bodies. He took out his cell phone, dialed the police, then drove that knife into his own heart.

The burly man dropped heavily to the ground. The tear-filled ghost floated out from his body and hovered in front of Qin Sisi.

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity for revenge. Now, I am willing to give my Soul Power to you," the ghost said in a light tone, dismissing the importance of the Soul Power.
