Chapter 486: Chapter 486 Humiliating Steamed Bun_1

Qin Sisi pondered over this statement, her fiery temperament must have fueled an intense fight, eventually provoking the traffickers.

Though this was just her conjecture, after a brief pause, she pressed on earnestly, "What exactly happened?"

The woman answering had a complex expression, "After she’d been abducted, she kicked up a huge fuss, constantly banging and kicking at the door. It aggravated those men, so they... they raped her."

Qin Sisi’s expression faltered, and she unconsciously clenched her fists, murmuring, "All four of them?"

The woman, huddled with fear, bobbed her head, "Yes, they took turns."

Qin Sisi cast a skeptical glance at the woman and asked, "Didn’t you all have your eyes covered? How did you see?"

The woman’s expression fluctuated and she murmured, "They removed all our blindfolds, intentionally forcing us to watch. They said if anyone else disobeyed, they would do the same to them."

"Bastards!" Qin Sisi cursed, no longer able to hold back.

The woman shrank back from Qin Sisi’s overt anger. The torment of the last few days had made them all jittery as birds.

Qin Sisi took a deep breath, softened her tone and inquired, "What happened next?"

The woman shrunk her head and uttered, "Afterwards, she started to refuse to eat. They saw her condition and assumed she wouldn’t sell, so they tormented her daily. After a few days, she..."

A pang of pain coursed through Qin Sisi’s heart. She closed her eyes tightly.

After a moment, she opened her eyes. The turmoil had dissipated; her eyes regained their usual calm.

She picked up the blindfold and gag, "Return to the way things were. We don’t need them finding out."

The woman nodded and hesitantly asked, "Miss, will you really save us?"

Qin Sisi responded adamantly, "Rest assured, I always keep my word." 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

After refastening the woman’s blindfold and gag, Qin Sisi retreated to the corner where the ghost had once appeared.

In her daze, she understood why the ghost had shed bloody tears.

After a lengthy silence, Qin Sisi raised her head and addressed Ye You, "Xiao Hei, bind me as well. We do not want them to discover us."

Ye You glanced at Qin Sisi, took a silent, cat-like step towards the secret door, listening for sounds on the other side before returning to Qin Sisi’s side, "There’s no sound outside; they must have fallen asleep. There’s no need to worry."

Qin Sisi nodded in approval, then said after a brief silence, "The desire of that ghost, is undoubtedly to see those men die in a wretched manner! What should we do?"

Her original intention was to not harm human life, and Ye You did not want her hands to bare the blood of the Human World. However, faced with the tortured souls of the dead, Qin Sisi felt that some sins went beyond the absolution of death.

Ye You extended her claw to settle on the back of Qin Sisi’s hand, speaking softly, "Stay calm. We will keep to the original plan of having her deal with her killers. It’s not for us."

Qin Sisi gave a bitter smile and replied, "If she had that capability, she’d have done something by now!"

Given that her ghost remained here, it signifies a desire for revenge. Yet, the four men who caused her demise were still perfectly fine.

The most plausible explanation is that as a newly formed ghost, she lacked the power to exact her revenge.

Ye You patted Qin Sisi’s hand, saying gently and calmly, "We shall decide tonight, don’t worry, I’m here."

Qin Sisi raised her head to meet Ye You’s warm eyes. Her heavy mood lightened a bit, and she extended her arms to hug Ye You.

Though circumstances were not good, they hadn’t rested for an entire day and night.

The two snuggled together, gradually drifting into slumber.

As daylight broke, there was a stirring outside.

Ye You carefully slipped out from Qin Sisi’s arms and moved towards the hidden door, carefully listening to the sounds emanating from beyond.

Unable to feel Ye You’s warmth, Qin Sisi’s groggily opened her eyes to see Ye You sitting by the door. She asked in confusion, "Xiao Hei, what are you doing?"

Ye You turned to her and said, "Rest a bit longer. When they come in, I’ll bind you again."

Honestly, Ye You felt heartache at having forced Qin Sisi to endure being bound and gagged for so long.

A warm feeling spread throughout Qin Sisi’s heart. Feeling extremely tired she decided to heed Ye You’s advice, quietly closing her eyes again to rest.

It wasn’t until noon, when the hidden door sprung open, causing Qin Sisi to jolt alert.

However, all she could see was darkness. She rubbed her eyes only to realize that her hands and feet had been bound again.

A few seconds later, Qin Sisi fully realized what was happening.

Someone had entered, and just before they did, Ye You had tied both her hands and feet, placed the blindfold over her eyes, and gagged her mouth again, reverting everything to the way it was.

Just as the rustle of movement sounds filled the room, soft moans of agony reverberated in the room.

Qin Sisi felt a sudden brightness before her eyes and instinctively squinted. It turned out that her blindfold had just been removed, and soon after, the gag in her mouth was ripped away.

The person who entered was Shou Hou. After he removed the blindfolds and gags of all the ladies, a steamed bun was placed in front of each one. He irritably stated, "Eat up, make haste."

Qin Sisi lifted her head to look at Shou Hou, her eyes frosty, and coldly asked, "With bound hands, how am I meant to eat?"

Shou Hou chuckled, "So you’re the newcomer. Learn from them."

As he spoke, he pointed towards the other women.

Qin Sisi turned to look, only to be met with the sight of everyone bending over, stretching their necks to reach the bun on the floor.

Qin Sisi, her hands tied behind her back, fisted them again.

The woman Qin Sisi had spoken to the night before hesitantly glanced at Shou Hou before advising Qin Sisi, "Quick, eat. We only have a few minutes before our next meal isn’t until tomorrow."

As soon as she’d finished, a slap resounded through the room, landing on the woman’s face.

Shou Hou menacingly scolded, "Keep your mouth shut, asking for a beating, are you!"

The woman’s fair cheek instantaneously bore a red inflamed handprint. She dared not look up, but merely shivered whilst she bowed her body, trying to reach for the cold, hard bun on the floor as tears of disgrace helplessly flooded down her face.

Qin Sisi’s gaze on Shou Hou grew colder by the minute.

Shou Hou, looking at her, licked his teeth and said, "What? Not eating? Didn’t you say yesterday that you’d cooperate as long as we don’t hurt your cat? Do you want me to kill this ugly black cat?"

Ye You remained as if she hadn’t heard a thing, quietly lying at Qin Sisi’s feet.

Qin Sisi cast Shou Hou an indifferent glance and replied expressionlessly, "I’m not hungry today. When I’m hungry tomorrow, I will naturally eat."
