Chapter 1182: Chapter 930: Prophet_2

"Actually, my grandmother also left a will for you," said the young man who had been gone for who knows how long, returning once more. He handed Elsa a sealed scroll. When Elsa opened it, there were no superfluous words, but a time and a place. The time was about three days from now, and the location was an excavation pit of Giant ruins of the Celestial Clan.

This guy, even in death, had to leave something behind to influence the world, huh?

"I am very sorry," Elsa apologized to the young man because, in essence, it was her arrival that led to Jiana’s death.

"No, please don’t let such matters trouble you. Because my grandmother once said that the length of one’s life is predetermined and will absolutely not change due to the arrival of someone. Besides, her life had actually reached its end; she persisted until now solely through her remarkable willpower, and your arrival, to put it plainly, was a release for her," the young man said.

Elsa had seen the prophecy about herself, but she still couldn’t understand why the Celestial Clan’s Emperor would become so deranged. Even though the prophecy unveiled a truly terrifying crisis, now it seemed the real cause of the crisis was not Elsa. Furthermore, for quite a long time, the Emperor had been acting more and more abnormally, suggesting other underlying reasons.

What exactly happened to the Emperor after hearing the prophecy? Was he scared out of his wits?

Now that the source had been found, the next step was to trace the chronological order of the entire process.

Outside the door, Elsa saw the elderly and their group with tears at the corners of their eyes; they too must have understood all that Jiana had sacrificed.

Yet, there was one thing that still puzzled Elsa: what exactly were these people avoiding? Clearly, they weren’t avoiding her. And in Jiana’s prophecy, there was no mention of anything concerning them. That meant there must be another prophecy specifically targeting them.

Of course, they did not intend to tell Elsa about this part of the prophecy, so Elsa didn’t inquire further.

The lengthy gate sent Elsa back to the ground. She had obtained what she wanted to know, and there was no longer a reason for her to stay.

As she was returning to the surface, she felt waves of energy fluctuations coming from above. And the closer she got, she could even feel intense vibrations.

Once Elsa arrived on the surface and looked up, she saw a Giant formed of yellow sand entangled with several oddly shaped battleships in the sky.

Battleships of the Lizardmen?

Elsa recognized at a glance that these battleships undoubtedly belonged to the Lizardmen. She had just met a young Lizardman, and now battleships of the Lizardmen had appeared? Elsa didn’t believe this was merely a coincidence.

Old Stone Fist, who was controlling the Lord of Yellow Sands from above, saw Elsa and shouted, "Miss Elsa! Hurry up here!"

Hearing this, Elsa spread her wings and flew at top speed toward the massive Cosmic Stone.

"What is happening?" Elsa asked Old Stone Fist.

"We are not sure either. These Lizardmen battleships suddenly teleported nearby, and then they took a young Lizardman boy through the Teleportation Gate left by the Giant. Right after that, they began attacking this planet incessantly, and we are trying to stop them," Old Stone Fist explained.

Elsa couldn’t help but wonder if they intended to avenge the young Lizardman who had been trapped here for so long. In that case, the most direct enemies should be these Mountain Giants, right? Why attack the very body of the planet directly?

"Didn’t you try to communicate with them?" asked Elsa.

"Yes, but there has been no response from the other side," Old Stone Fist said.

"No communication at all?"

"Yes, none at all."

"Then, there is a problem."

In the end, Elsa decided to see for herself about this race that always seemed to peer into the future. Everything about them revolved around various mysteries and a show of mystique, which were very irritating to Elsa. Influenced by Long Yi from a young age, Elsa preferred a more straightforward approach to communication. Therefore, she decided to have a direct talk with the Lizardmen.

Spreading her wings and soaring into the sky, Elsa flew straight to the flagship of the opposition. Seeing Elsa’s appearance, the firepower from the enemy battleships immediately ceased. In fact, in the battle with the Lord of Yellow Sands, neither side had gained any advantage.

The hatch beneath the battleship opened, and Elsa flew straight in, with the young Lizardman she had saved before happily coming forward to greet her.

"My lifesaver, have you come to help me?" the young Lizardman said.

"Who exactly are you, where do you come from, and what do you want to do here?" Elsa asked directly.

The Lizardman burst into laughter and said, "Actually, I am a prince of the Lizardmen from another minor plane, and I came here seeking the Prophet’s help because the Prophet had once foretold that I shall become a great Emperor. But now the throne has been usurped by my elder brother, and I have been relegated to a pitiful General! Clearly, those Prophets deceived me!"

The young Lizardman then grinned, showing his sharp fangs.

"So, what is your ultimate goal?" asked Elsa.

Hearing this question from Elsa, the Lizardman paused for a moment before saying, "Of course, to make all those spineless turtles come out and provide me with a true prophecy!"

Elsa laughed, realizing that this hot-headed kid was evidently not the true enemy that the Prophets feared; he was just a hotheaded youngster.

"Well, I wish you luck. I will be leaving now," Elsa said.

"What? You aren’t planning to assist me? With your strength, if you help, I’m certain we can expose all those liars," the Lizardman said in haste.

"I don’t know what has happened to you, but in my experience, if a prophecy hasn’t come true, the most likely reason is simply that the time hasn’t arrived yet. So now, Your Highness, please allow me to take my leave." (To be continued.
