Chapter 523: Chapter 522: Multiversal Organization

Apart from that, the thing Void was most excited about was that, after years of studying, he had finally made a breakthrough regarding the Rules he had been researching.

It had been tough, but it worked.

He had also learned about the new demons and their path to power within the Abyss.

New experiences.

New knowledge gained.

But just as Void was about to continue, he felt several familiar auras approaching.

Dreadborne was back.

His demon army, after years of battle and war, had returned to report back to their master.

Void watched as his slaves arrived one after another.

He took on a human form as clothes wrapped around his body.

"Welcome, welcome," Void said, spreading his arms as he entered the castle’s main hall.

There, his slaves were already standing, waiting for his arrival.

"Greetings, Master."

"Greetings, Void."

They greeted him.

"Sit," Void instructed.

They took their seats one by one on the large couches.

Taking a seat himself, Void asked with a smile,

"How was it?"

His slaves all smiled.

Dreadborne had been divided into different armies by them.

Linkir led one herself, while the rest formed teams.

Nyx and Junnie were one team.

Nephem, Alayot, and Mark were another.

The three groups had conquered three different multiverses.

"Here they are," Linkir said as she stood up and opened her palm.

Resting within it were three deep crimson flags.

Each contained the souls of every inhabitant from the multiverses they had conquered.

"Also, the multiverses have been brought back to the Abyss and have already started fusing," Linkir finished.

Void took the three flags and observed them.

"Not bad."

After a few seconds, Void spoke again.

"From now on, I will take sixty percent of all high-tier souls, and you will share the remaining among yourselves. As for the low-level souls, distribute them among the demon army."

The three crimson flags merged into one as countless souls flew out and entered Linkir and the others.

Some also entered Void’s body.

The remaining souls, consisting of Rank 3 beings and below that were still inside the flag, flew back and landed on Linkir’s palm.

"Thank you, Master," Void’s slaves said.

"Alright. That aside, I’m glad you all did well. But there are some important things I have to discuss with all of you," Void said.

His slaves immediately sat up, listening seriously.

"First, after taking in what Nyx told me about the Abyss, I investigated it myself."

Void paused.

"And it’s true."

"But we’ll take a different route. I want us to connect our base directly to the First, Second, and Third Layers of the Abyss. That way, depending on how strong the being seeking a contract is, they can be transported directly here to our base."

Void explained his plan.

Alayot immediately chimed in.

"Basically, we should turn this place into a demonic world or city of some sort, with passageways connected directly to the First, Second, and Third Layers of the Abyss."

"In addition, we should establish command centers, like mini cities where they arrive directly in those layers, creating a coordinated flow of inputs—beings seeking contracts—and outputs—demons signing contracts with them. It would allow them to skip the long wait to meet higher-level demons, or at least reduce it."

Alayot analyzed.

Void smiled proudly.

"Exactly."

"You got it."

"I studied other organizations through my clone. There is always a delay. After all, the bases or mini cities built by other demons aren’t directly connected to one another. They constantly have to create portals between them."

"Either they’re poor, or their leaders are only Rank 3 demons who can’t maintain permanent portals."

"But we can comfortably do so."

"So we’ll use that to our advantage."

Void explained.

His slaves nodded.

It definitely wasn’t a bad idea.

However, judging by Void’s expression, he wasn’t finished yet.

"The next agenda is that I’ll be leaving again."

"Part of the reason I told all of you to conquer multiverses was to see whether you were capable."

"And you didn’t fail me."

"Basically, Dreadborne is in your hands."

"You can make it or destroy it."

"I’ll eventually be leaving on a journey like this again, so keep that in mind."

"Besides, at any point in time, I can summon any one of you."

"What I need is a constantly operating organization that conquers multiverses for me, establishes branches with the locals, and provides me with a constant flow of souls."

"Got it?"

Void summarized.

"Yes, Master," all of his slaves replied.

"It is a good plan," Mark said with a grin.

"Yeah. Definitely up there," Nephem backed him up.

Everyone nodded.

They had their own guesses, but now that Void had laid everything out, they finally understood exactly what was happening.

"When are you leaving?" Linkir asked.

Void chuckled.

"Right about..."

"Now."

The moment Void finished speaking, a female demon suddenly appeared in their midst.

"Void, it’s time," Ire said as she glanced at Void’s slaves.

Her eyes stopped on the three female demons, especially Linkir, whom she gave an extra glance.

"Yeah, I know. Just cleaning things up," Void replied with a cough before standing up and walking over to her.

For a moment, Void’s slaves were baffled.

Was this still Void?

Why had his expression suddenly changed?

And who was this female demon?

Why was her aura so terrifying?

If Void’s aura was suffocating...

Then hers was like witnessing the apocalypse itself.

It was overwhelmingly powerful.

Then Void and Ire disappeared as Void waved at his slaves.

"I’ll send word back," Void said with a chuckle.

His slaves exchanged glances.

"Stop," Linkir said as she pulled Junnie back. Junnie gritted her teeth.

"Who is she, huh? Why would she do something like that to Master? Master belongs to me!" Junnie clenched her fist as her aura flared.

"You were lucky she held you back. That female demon was stronger than our master," Nyx said, though she couldn’t hide the disgust in her voice. She, too, didn’t think highly of the new female demon.

"It’s alright," Linkir said with a sigh.

"Wait, guys... is it just me, or is her stomach bulging?" Suddenly, Mark spoke from the side as everyone’s minds went blank for a moment.

"Yeah, I noticed that too. Is she pregnant with Master’s child?" Alayot pondered.

The instant Junnie heard this, she screamed.

"VOID!!!!!"

The entire Fifth Layer of the Abyss shook.

Meanwhile, Void’s true body chuckled as he watched his clone leave with Ire.

His gaze then settled back on the Rules.

"I have discovered my path," Void spoke as universes appeared behind him. Black holes formed, their swirling gravity pulling matter inward. Giant stars slowly rotated around him. Time, Fate, Order, and all the known Origins revolved around Void.

Finally, dimensions and multiverses themselves formed and imploded.

As a terrifying aura swelled from Void’s body...
