Chapter 1934: Chapter 472: Supplanting and Letting Go_6
The three of them didn’t say anything more, letting her perform her own drama.
Gan Wei’er fluttered like a butterfly to Lorde, tilting up a radiant smile: "Young Master Lorde, I believe you."
Lorde frowned slightly, glanced at her indifferently, and stepped around her.
Gan Wei’er stared at the tall back of the man, biting her lip unwillingly.
From the moment she first saw him, she was captivated by his extraordinary charisma; the most handsome and outstanding man she’d ever seen, the man she most wished to marry. But his status was so high, even a princess would be beneath him, how could she ever stand a chance?
Now he’s about to leave, and perhaps she’ll never have the chance to see him again... Thinking of this, she feels even more unwilling, no, she must think of a way.
Her eyes suddenly brightened; if uncooked rice could be made into cooked...
She ran out to order a bodyguard to fetch something from her room; the bodyguard quickly brought the item to her, "Miss, what is this?"
Gan Wei’er glared at him, and the bodyguard immediately dared not speak again.
Clutching the paper bag, Gan Wei’er smiled slyly with her eyes.
At this moment, Neo sauntered in gracefully, seeing Gan Wei’er, he flirted back with a wink. Unfortunately, Gan Wei’er had no interest in this kind of air-conditioning stallion, especially with such a formidable stepmother, she’d have to be brainless to look his way.
Shaking her head, she walked away without looking back.
Neo ran into a dead end, lamenting he was losing his market value. Luckily, a shy young girl glanced at him, but seeing her looks, Neo wished he could bang his head against the wall...
"Let’s go, don’t embarrass me." A woman’s voice, calm without a hint of emotion, echoed beside him.
Yun Ya, donned in magnificent attire, was so noble and beautiful it intimidated anyone from gazing directly. She looked at the graceful figure walking ahead; time had been so kind to her that not a trace of age showed, still as extremely beautiful and radiant as she remembered.
Her nails dug deeply into her palm, recapturing her sanity with sharp pain, endure...
A voice in her mind roared.
Though now, she wished she could rush over and strangle her.
"What kind of confidence has brought you to where you are today?" Yun Ya slowly asked.
The woman’s clothes fluttered like wind, noble and elegant.
"Trampling everyone underfoot, making those I detest crawl at my feet, their screams are my lullaby."
Her smiling voice jarringly sent a shiver down one’s spine.
"So, Yun Shu and the others ended up that way?"
"But what about Yun Shen, after all, he’s the man you love most, why not end him with a quick stroke."
Though Yun Ya hated Yun Shen, he was her biological father, so she would send him off with a swift blow — eventually, death was inevitable, at least it would be painless, repaying his gift of life.
Any more mercy, she couldn’t offer.
"The man I love most?" The woman’s voice was softly eerie, making one’s skin crawl.
"Yes, he is the man I’ve loved most in this life, so he must stay with me forever, how could he leave?"
Listening to her abnormal voice, Yun Ya smirked coldly; "Your love has long rotted, now you’re just a psycho. Yun Shen not loving you makes sense; no wonder madness like yours deserves no love."
Suddenly pushed against the wall by Ji Lanyi, cold fingers strangulating her throat, the woman smiled with her eyes, "My good daughter, I’ll make you just as mad as I am, wouldn’t you like that?"
"If you’ve got the guts, strangle me now." Yun Ya defiantly raised her chin, eyes identical to hers filled with mockery and defiance.
A ripple emerged in Ji Lanyi’s peaceful eyes, quickly concealed by waves, calm as if it never existed.
"I truly regret not strangling you when you were born."
"What a coincidence, Yun Shen said the same thing to you, truly you two are worthy of being a couple, perfectly in sync, hahaha..." Yun Ya laughed maniacally.
Ji Lanyi quietly gave her a glance, suddenly releasing her hand, calmly walking away.
Yun Ya clutched her throat, gasping deeply, coldly watched her back, hatred stirring beneath her eyes.
"Get moving, don’t dawdle." The woman’s impatient voice came.
Yun Ya stood upright, smoothing her dress, straightening her spine, a serene face showing no signs of weathered hardship, stepping gracefully forward.
Between her and Ji Lanyi, a deep chasm existed long before, besides this body born of her flesh and bone, between them, there would never be peace.
