Chapter 132: SHOW YOUR RESPECT TO ME

"Why it's not fair?" Khaos held back his laugh to see how upset Zuri was.

Her beast was way smaller than him, obviously, but she was very fast. She could dodge attack very swiftly, not to mention her agility and sharp instinct, but Khaos could read her movement and he was a well trained lycan with the same natural killing instinct like her.

"It's not fair," Zuri repeated the same thing, she frowned, trying to find an excuse. "Your beast is bigger than me."

Khaos laughed at that absurd reason. He leaned over and kissed her lips, while Gayle and Caiden took interest at the bleak sky above their head.

They were worried something out of control could happen, but ten minutes into the training, they felt ridiculous to even feel that way, because all the time, the the alpha looked like he was teasing her, playing with her.

The difference in their body sizes was very obvious, especially because the color of their fur was the opposite of one another, it was pleasant to see, but this was not the training that the two of them expected.

"I can't make my beast smaller, but you can make your beast bigger." Khaos brushed away the dirt from her face. "You need to eat more."

"Don't talk to me like I am a child." Zuri swatted his hand away and tugged her hair. She could tell that Khaos wasn't even serious when he fought her. He was very strong and his every movement was precise.

"Then don't be a bitter loser," Khaos said lightly, which made Zuri growled at him. She was rather competitive and Gayle already knew this side of her when they trained together.

"I waste my time here..." Caiden grumbled. He stretched his body and yawned.

"Go back first, I need you at the gates," Khaos said. He patted her head and nudged her to leave with Gayle, but Zuri looked at him, as if she wanted to say something. "Hm?"

"I want to train with you again. I heard you are good with sword." Zuri then glanced at Gayle. "There is no point of training if I can beat my partner all the time."

"Ouch, that's hurt." Gayle scrunched his nose, but he had to admit that after a few weeks, he was not suitable to train with her anymore. There was nothing he could teach her.

Meanwhile, Caiden laughed out loud when he heard that. He agreed with Zuri and had witnessed it with his own eyes.

"Sure," Khaos said. "Now, change your clothes. I will wait at the gates."

Zuri then left with Gayle. It happened naturally, as Gayle became not only her partner in training, but also her personal warrior.

"Khaos, are you sure, you want to train her? I think she is already strong enough," Caiden said with serious expression this time once Zuri and Gayle left.

"Hm. I like my woman strong and smart."

All this time, Khaos was the one, who plotted everything for Dacre and the king was not stupid, he must have familiarized himself with his method, therefore having Zuri to suggest him with a few ideas was a welcome change that he needed.

One thing about Khaos, he listened and was open to any opinions.

"About the curse..." Caiden started.

"We will talk about that later." Khoas cut him off.

The gamma didn't say anything, but he had expected this. The alpha was too attached to the Shell. It could cause trouble in their future plan.

Nycta was upset because Dacre would go for weeks to River Creek pack and it was not sure when he would return, he only said that he would be back before the baby was born.

However, what made Nycta even more furious was the fact Rose came with him. Dacre had explained to her in a gentle way, but all she could hear was how he praised Rose for being smart, she was a strategist. Someone that he needed to fill Khaos's position.

Nycta knew her sister was smart, among the four of them, Rose was the closest to their father. She was involved of some of their father and brother's project and discussion.

Yet, when Nycta stood there, watching them leaving the palace... she felt a great sense of betrayal.

People might think she cried because she didn't want to be away from the king, but in truth, Rose's presence bothered her the most.

"Don't be silly. I will not do something like that." Dacre kissed her lips after hearing her concern. "She is your sister, I am not going to disrespect you that way."

Nycta didn't believe that. She remembered how men with high status would have a few mistresses here and there, let alone a king like Dacre. Albeit, Nycta had never heard he took a mistress even when he was with Rimera, it didn't sit well with her.

She couldn't come with him because she was pregnant.

"I will be back soon for our baby." Dacre kissed her forehead and then left to the front row of the warriors. He would lead the entourage.

And now, Rose came to her. Nycta had refused to see her ever since she knew that she would come with the king.

"Nycta," Rose called her name softly, like a big sister she was. "Don't think too much, there is nothing will happen between me and the king, you need to curb down your jealousy or else, you will push the king away instead."

Nycta looked at her sister with malice, her personal maids were a few steps away from them, thus they couldn't hear their conversation.

"I am the queen, show your respect to me," Nycta said through her gritted teeth.

She lifted her chin and looked at her sister sharply. She was stupid to feel bad for sending her back to Wolfdale Kingdom before. This woman should have stayed there and never stepped her feet in this kingdom or anywhere near her mate.
